Should I buy a Vaproizer??
Sup all,
I'm considering buying a vaporizer, but I don't really know much about them. Are they really that much better than a bong? Do they use more weed than I would put in a normal size bowl? Are they worth the money? Any help is appreciated!!

Don't compare a vaporizer to a bong, or a pipe, or a joint. Compare vapor to smoke. You get a little more THC retention with vapor, but the big difference is what you don't get. Aside from the harshness of smoke, you don't get the toxins that come with high temps and combustion. Your vapor high will lack the couchlock you get with smoke. The effect of different strains will still apply, but you'll find that, overall, vapor produces a more energetic buzz. If you like your bong hits and the smoke doesn't bother you, you may not care for vapor. Don't buy a vape thinking you'll use a lot less herb (although most people use less with a vape), or get a lot higher. Get one if you want a healthier and/or more alert high.
If you do decide to get one, I'd recommend the Silver Surfer for a bong lover. I've used a lot of different vapes, and the SSV can deliver some big, smooth hits. It's also very forgiving in how hard you hit it. You can't hit it like a bong, but it's a pretty easy adjustment for a smoker.

Oh dude man, a vape is the best of the best imo. I bought a volcano last year and I have to say it's one of the best things I have ever bought. But you always have to live with what you bought, long after you forget how much you paid for it. I have never regretted it.

I second that. I paid $550 + tax locally for my volcano. It is hands down the best thing I've ever bought.
I've bought hydro on occassion but because it works SO well I usually only have to buy a oz of shwag and it's like I was smoking some good genetic stuff (WW, haze, northern lights) instead.
Sometimes I like to mix it up though. I'll buy an 1/8th of dro and an oz of shwag and mix in like .1 or .2g of dro for each gram of shwag. Works amazing!!!
I have never regretted buying my volcano and it even has me looking into getting a killer whip system like a Vapezilla or something.
I love vapes.

I've heard VERY good things about vapolution also.
I'm thinking about getting their little portable kit they have for when I'm not at home :)
Their fully decked out system is about 1/4 the cost of a volcano also. Can't argue with that.

For sure get a vaporizer. I bought one of the vapor genie for $65, and it was definitely worth it. I've had a snowglobe one before, and used several hotbox style ones, and I think the best bang for your buck is the vapor genie. Reasons?
1)Cheap cost (a Volcano costs $400+, and while the Volcano is much more efficient....I would never more money into a smoking device than a whole flame zip would cost but that's just my conservative spending).
2)Portability-you can't be carrying a Volcano or a hotbox in a car easily due to how cumbersome it is.
3)Electricity-Vapor Genie justs needs a lighter!
4)Just a cool-ass device; everyone you toke with out of it is always intrigued by how it works and how well it works.
But for sure get a vape, if not a Vapor Genie then a snowglobe one. I've heard the Vapirs work well! Good luck to yeh:D

See we still remember the cost but it's like mehh..
I was going between volcano and super vapezilla, but went with volc. They make a volcano vapor-dome that pretty much turns it into a whip system, but of course it's $$...

Vape saves you weed (so it kind of pays for itself) and saves your lungs (priceless)

Two that are closer to the functionality of the Vapezilla are the Vaporfection and Evolutions. The NG is close, but the controller reads the temp of the whip, which requires preloading an empty whip for an accurate temp reading. Although the $500 units are a little more sophisticated, they're not worth the extra $ IMO. I think Vaporfection and Evolutions though, are a much better buy than the Super Vapezilla. You not only save some $ (SV is up to $550), you get a 3 yr. warranty on labor AND parts. Vapezilla's labor only warranty leaves a little to be desired on a $500+ piece of electronics. :wtf:

I would recommend a vaporizer. I've had a volcano for 4 yrs but havent smoked/vaped for 2. I've kicked around the idea of selling it a few times but I no longer hang out with people who smoke regularly or sells stuff for me to buy :D Besides, I haven't been able to afford it for a while now anyways.
I'm hoping to get my MMJ card soon and grow some of my own stuff and meet some people to get/trade clones when I can. Then I'll get to enjoy my volcano again.
I started with a vapor bros which was cool at first and got me into vaping. Then it became a pain in the ass so I upgraded to the volcano. I still have the vapor bros in a box somewhere but haven't used it for years.
Vaping is a lot better for your health. No more hacking up shit in the morning. No more harsh coughing and it greatly decreases your chances of getting sick or having to deal with bronchitis. Don't get me wrong, I always enjoyed smoking joints and hitting bongs, but the volcano was great for when you didn't want couch lock. I would usually rotate between the 3 things because they all provided different styles of high.
Should I buy a Vaproizer??
Yes I would, I have had one for 2 days and I can say it's supperior to smoking for the following reasons:
- FAR Less smell if you are at all worried about that
- No Harshness
- No toxins
- very efficient
- Conserves product
- Get more energy
- Don't feel as couch locked
- It's a more pure feeling "clearer" if you would.
I only have good things to say about it. I have a plain V-tower, not the extreme and it works fine, I set it at 190 degree C and with a pinch I can vape for a while. The non induction design mean you can vape and leave it for a while too and if there is more in the tube or chamber you can do it a long while after wards as long as you keep it warm.
