Like the earliest thing you can remeber when you were a baby?
mine is waking up in my crib and not knowing who i was or where i was or anything.
mine was similar. just one day i was about 2 or 3 years old, i just woke up on the carpet right beside my parents bed on the floor. didnt know much, but i was rather curious to where it was i was at.
Me like 4 years old and my brother like 3 years old in preschool. Some kid wasn't being nice to my brother so I beat that kid up.
I'm a good big brother to this day.
I kan remember running about in my nappy in my aunties house and burnin my leg on the fire place..
Stupid boy...lol
I woke up with amnesia. Couldn't remember my name or what had happened the night before. I got up and started jumping on my bed. My mom yelled my name, telling me to stop it! I didn't and got my bottom swatted. Later I was telling Mom that I didn't remember the night before- she was surprised that I didn't remember watching the Ed Sullivan Show. And that is my first memory.
I also have a very clear memory of being attacked by another kid wielding a hammer. That's how I ended up with migraines and became a MMJ user. It was before my brother was born when I was 3 1/2.
Most folks seem to have hazy memories about their earlier years, I'm glad I'm not the only one who just "woke up". - Granny:hippy:
really? you guys can remember?
i can't remember anything much except what my parents tell me.. otherwise its all blank.
it all just blurs in together. there is no age distinction really.
mine is my dad lifting me onto the gate post of our house and showing me how to tie my shoe laces(dont know how old i was)
i was about 3 years old. i asked for some applesauce. and my mommy forgot to get me some :( i still bug her about it to this day hahaha! :)
i remember visiting my dad in jail, dam i was like 4 or somthing. It was strange i didnt even think about it cuase for some reason i didnt think it was for a bad thing, i just thought he was there for some reason i didnt know.
I don't remember shit. I used to remember from when I was like, 9 and up but now it's basically from 9-12 I remember some shit but I've wasted my brain from 12-18. I have vague memories between then but not really. I don't know how ANYONE can remember ANYTHING from when they were a toddler or younger..
The earliest solid memory I have was my first day of kindergarten. I was 4. I remember I was very proud of my outfit. I looked awfully cute. It is a happy memory!
I think my first memory was when I just learned to walk I would try to catch the seagulls at the beach lol. Never did catch any.
Believe it or not my first memory was when i was only a few months past 1 years old... I didnt understand the situation until my parents told me more details when i was a bit older but i clearly remember it. My dad had taken me to the final baseball playoff game in 1987 of the Twins. Kirby Puckett hit a home run that basically won the game and got us into the World Series... I dont remember all those detail but what i do remember is...
Being at the Metrodome... sitting happily on a seat next to my dad... all of the sudden everyone stood up around me and was shouting VERY loudly. I didn't cry right away.. but I sat there in shock and awe, it was by FAR the loudest thing my little ears had ever heard in that point in my life (probably still comparable against things I've heard over my life). I think one of the other reasons I didnt cry was everyone looked happy, including my dad, so I think somehow I knew it was something good. But my dad tells me I eventually covered my ears and started yelling too the way babies do.
I must have been about 2 or 3 and I remember a little toy stage coach that I was given for Christmas although I obviously couldn't understand Christmas back then.
I had put it too near the fire and it had melted I still vividly remember the color of the little horses was yellow and the stage coach was blue.
It often wonder if I truly am remembering this incident or whether I am just remembering the last time I remembered it if you grasp my meaning.

I remember being smacked by the dam ob doctor!
wondering 'why is he hitting me?'
:icon506::icon506::icon506::icon506:
smacked at birth!
what about those peeps?
wtf?
I'm trying to work backwards from some early memories to get a the earliest.
I have lots of memories of kindergarten when I was about 5 and some from preschool when I was about 4. And I remember splitting my chin open and getting stitches when I was 4. I knew it wasn't my regular doctor, so I remember the pediatrician I had before I was 4.
I remember going to disneyland when I was probably 4 and going to SeaWorld when I was 3 or 4. My dad raced bicycles, and I remember being at bike races when I was 3 or 4. I remember the dog that our family had from before I was born and that died when I was 3 or 4. I remember barfing on the carpet when i was 3 or 4.
I remember burning my hand on a camping trip when I was about 3. I remember watching space launches and moon landings from when I was about 3. I remember riding in the car and standing up in the front bench seat while we were going down the road --- must've been when I was 3 or so, and definitely before car seat and seatbelt laws.
My brother was born when I was about 2 and a half, and I remember my mother breast feeding him. When I saw it, I asked what the baby was doing, and she told me she was feeding him. I asked if I could try, and she looked at me kind of surprised and said, "No." Damn the new baby! But after 40 years I got over it.
And I think I remember something about my brother being born too. My mom always made dinner and we ate at the table, and the house was always bright with the lights on. I remember being at home with just my dad, and instead of a normal dinner we had a grilled cheese sandwich, and the house was sort of dark. I think my mom was at the hospital that night with my new brother, but I'm not really sure about that.
I remember being born. No real vision - I only remember going from warmth and dark to light and cold with intense, cold, stinging sensations all over my body. When I did salvia it reminded me a lot of the stinging pain I remember from that memory.
uhhh i cant remember shit the earliest memory is probly like 10 years old
was 6 years old whatchin tv on the floor and reminiscin about how before i started going to nursery how i could wotch tv all day and not worry bout a thing hehe.
I can remember very little from before about 12. There are bits and pieces that are hazy, but only when someone jogs that memory. My friend commented the other day how people tell me stories about my life (even stuff from my teens) that I have no memory whatsoever of. It is odd, but I don't really care b/c I don't "need" those memories per se.
Even today my memory for things like events or people is terrible, but my school, work, or research that I want to remember is retained nearly flawlessly. Hmm.
This is a subject I brought up with some friends not too long ago. The earliest memories I have are of when I was probably around 5. One that I know I will never forget from that time is when I was at the babysitter and I was hitting some t-ball when I sister walked behind me. Well, she ended up having a bump about the size of the ball on her forehead. I wouldn't count on her remembering anything before that day. :D I'll have to ask her if she remembers that as good as I do.
though not a very clear memory of being a baby, a month or 3 back i was watching a little baby, workin on some babies first steps, and im chillin, meditatin and takin in the scene, and slowly i can feel the feeling again (of takin those early awkward steps, not a few months ago), a kinda cloudy memory/flashback. it was a memory recalled by force, i was in the zone of maximum concentration, you all know that zone.. oooommmmmm:stoned:
Its seems I only remember things that embarrassed me. I remember when I was about five, I was in preschool, and I went to use the restroom. When I came out one of the girls said something smelled and I remember being embarrassed and I said I think I need to wipe more. Or something to that affect.
When I was 4 years old my family went on a road trip to California, I remember standing at a rest area somewhere in the desert in New Mexico looking at the cactuses.
