Wow. I think I had a minor panic attack.

My friend and his chick were on my bed making out (I sleep on the couch), and I was trying to get things situated. I was gonna smoke another joint and watch a movie while they fell asleep. Well, I suddenly realized my heart rate was drastically increased, my breathing had shallowed, and I was freaking out on everything in the room: cleaning spots, picking up random bits of trash, etc.


Now, a couple hours before that, I took some adderall, and I had a couple swigs of some alcohol. I was fine, but then I got back into my room and I started freaking out. Is this just a side effect of the combination of drugs, or has my two ounce, week long binge been cut short?

It didn't have anything to do with people making out on your bed did it? Just think back to any minor or major details that would have triggered what happened. Have you had panic attacks before?
I guess just hope it doesnt happen again, go somewhere totally chill and smoke up. It could all be in your head, might be good to take a tokage break for a little bit, or not as smoke as much just till you understand what actually happened.

No.. the making out has been going on all weeks. We've had various girls in and out of this room this week.

Nothing really happened.. we were in my basement, playing pool, and we stepped outside for a bit. Everyone left except my friend. His girl drove over here, and we played more pool. We went back into my room and I put a movie in.. then I went to town cleaning my room.

My room is EXTREMELY chill. I feel more comfortable here than anywhere else I've ever smoked. I've never had an attack before, either.



Yeah. I'm taking a break after spring break because I've been smoking myself stupid. I need to enjoy sobriety for a bit. :smokin:

Soooo yeah, weed is known for causing panic and anxiety attacks. I know when I quit smoking for a while, then went back to smoking the headiest buds on earth (and smoking as I had been used to, with a tolerance of Jesus Christ) I would have panic attacks quite a bit, and I'd nearly black out from them.

So yeah, it can happen.

Sounds like common reactions of amphetamine use... aka adderall... the herb and alcohol probably just enhanced these effects.

i think the weed may have triggered an acute panic attack but you were so spun off the addies that you started cleaning up. common side effects of both the drugs.

Dont worry sounds like youve been doing some partying and just tripped out for a moment. Everyone does it, its like a mood swing where your uncomfortable in the place you should feel the most comfortable.

Seriously the panic attacks Ive witnessed have scared the shit out of me. The person litterally goes from walking, or chilling, to laying on the ground and it is usually triggered by a problem in thier life thats seriously stressing them out. The bad news is these people all continue to smoke pot, drink heavily, and take the RX.

Most drugs used to treat panic attacks are labeled not to be used with alcohol.

i had few panics from just weed but its pretty rare. i never went nuts or anything - usually i was just exhausted from event xyz and probably shouldve rested before i smoked.

ive also had a pretty decent panic where i froze in place and started to sweat and feel like a pass out was coming on, but that was DXM+ganj. just to be clear, there is a difference between like 'being paranoid' and 'having a fucking panic attack.'

having a panic attack feels (i can only imagine) like dying. it fcking sucks. youll know for sure if you have one, because it feels really bad.

if you like nicotine, panic attacks are like that 2nd day with no cigs after you've just been irritated somehow, except times a million. when you get weighed down by sudden, devastating depression and fear that literally rivets you in fucking place, THAT is a panic attack. then cue sweating, huge pupils, light-headedness, loss of color, etc.

when i smoke stress weed man i get all phuqued up now i know why they call it stress, was it some new smoke?

You might not wan't to mix the Adderall with the booze. You are taking a stimulant with a depressant. Your heart doesnt know to speed up or slow down. I always thought Red Bull and Vodka mixed is a bad idea. common drink though

I just had and am still having one to some extent. I cant get ready to leave the house. Everythime i even picture myself getting dresssed i start ballin like a little baby (Weezy). now im very lightheaded and still crying for no reason
