Solve These Codes

Here's a few codes for you to try and solve (you may have to be really bored, and possibly have some knowledge of crytography :p)

Number 1:

Hint: This type of code is known as a Caesar Box (Julius Caesar was the first to write codes this way.) To decipher the message, simply divide the code into four groups of four, and rearrange them vertically like this...

OVSE
UE..

When you're done, look carefully, and a message will appear...




Number 2:

Hint: Same as the first, but this time there are 36 letters.. so the method is slightly different.

lol yeah i read the da vinci code ages ago.. its cool.. :p i especially liked it coz im a fan of da vinci, and it opened up a whole new level to some of his work

i tried and the only thing i could make out of it logically is "you eva sore"...which i dont think is right

i couldnt do it cause the one they started is not finished you gotta finish it your self...not all the letters are in the table.

Ya I got it... reading the book ago going to The Da Vinci code website helps out greatly with this little riddle. The website is cool. you have to unlock the website figuring out riddels and whatnot

digital fortress is a great book. dan brown is a master of his craft.

i.ll have a look on amazon sounds like something i would like to read,,Salvia,shrooms ect may just be the keys to the to the invisible prison we are in or what the worlds goverments are trying to create ( a digital prison )

I didn't really think the Da Vinci Code was that great... It's really poorly written and full of cliches. What makes it interesting is his whole interpretation of the myth of the grail, but apart from that, it's pretty bad... And despite that little blurb at the beginning about all his facts are true, that's also a load of bull, and is there just for dramatic effect

Yeah, I see what you're saying. The theory of Jesus and Mary Magdalenes bloodline was one I had never heard before, but once you hear it, you start to see it everywhere. Like Dan Brown says in The Da Vinci Code, George La Tour's 'Penitent Magdalene' even shows up in The Little Mermaid. To be honest, I don't know if I believe that Mary and Jesus had children, and that his bloodline still exists today, but I definately believe he was just a normal guy, and probably did get married. In those days, wasn't it wrong to be a Jewish male and to not married?

I liked The Da Vinci Code. It was an interesting - but definately not amazing - novel. The claims in it were somewhat far fetched (the Holy Grail residing in the Louvre, for instance), and should be taking lightly. But all in all, it was cool, and definately showed me things about Da Vinci's work I had never noticed before (the anomilies in 'The Last Supper' and 'Madonna On The Rocks', for instance) If my head hadn't been next to a bass amp, drum kit and a guitar amp all night, and my ears and head weren't ringing like they are, then I would talk about this some more. lol :)

Right GHoST, take the book for what it is, cause for some reason some people went really overboard with this book and treated it like it was the holy grail. In the end, it's just fiction :D
