I have a space that is 28 inches high 16+1/2 inches across and 9 inches deep i plan on using cfls in a standard light fittin uk bayonet
how much lighting would i need for bud (i know i need the 2700k bulb for bud and the 6500k for veg) i got 5x 21w energy saving 2700k cfl bulbs producing 100w each how many for a good tight fat bud tho ? :wtf:
please help as it will soon be flowering time :rastasmoke::thumbsup:
ps i am only growing 1 plant for a tester
You only have room for one plant. If your space is 28" tall you won't have enough height to grow in IMHO. By the time you subtract the height of your pot and for lights you may have only 16 to 18" of grow space.
thats all i want too grow as i am experimenting at the mo i have made my own reflectors to go with my cfl's i just want 2 know how many bulbs i need to grow a hench smoke in a space that size as my reflectors are sunk into the frame of my box and i am training my plants to grow in a small space (wife does bonsia) so they are all trained to reach up to the top of the box with lights either side and above (all i do is turn the pot every day to get even growth)
i have just put into bud with 1 light on so far (the top 1) and all seems goooodddd 2 me so far but i want 2 use more light but dont want to use 2 much im 2 stoned most of the time too work out where my pc is never mind workin out lumens so i was wondering what the minmum i should use for a good yeild on a really tiny plant ?
i can always upscale later when i got a system rite ?:hippy:
a hundred watts should be plenty of light.

For the space you describe, use at least four of those bulbs.
The problem is, you'll have to flower your plants when they get to 8 inches or you'll run out of room.
Train them to grow low, keep the light close, and keep vegging and clipping until you have a lot of nodes. But don't let it stretch or you'll need a new box.
would it be possible too put my plant in bud then take some cuttings and grow the branches with some bud on ?
i understand it may make budding take longer but would it produce more results ie yeild ?

BIOBIZZ BIO-BLOOM SOIL NUTRIENT (Organics > Bio-Bizz Nutrients & Additives > BioBizz Bio-Bloom)
and im using mg compact (Miracle-Gro Compact Compost at Wilkinson Plus) my cheese is 3cm high after 4 days in this soil planted in a peat pot i ave it under a 11w veg light @ the mo and will grow it too 8" tall take some cutting and bloom the bitch :jointsmile: i have a ph tester from the work i do :pimp: so i can test my nute's b4 watering but what will the nutes do to my soil or my soil to my roots and how can i tell with out spending any cash? (can i mix a pre ph tested water with sum soil and recheck?)
You'll want to check the ph of your runoff. I'd suggest 6.5 for your nutes and 6.6 for runoff. Some mediums(like pro-mix) you may have to give it a higher ph nute solution as it becomes very acidic for hand waterers.

ah well been a while so i thought i would update wid sum pics too :thumbsup: if i kenw how well im 6 weeks into veg and 1 week into bloom now and ive put me net on her and taken 3 cuttings ;) i got some plant angel nutes for £1.99 about $4 i reckon it has a npk of 4.20.10 which i plan too use in 2 weeks after the strech :hippy: so only 2 weeks to go

opps forgot to say i using a 125w red envirolite in there now and a 125w blue which i used for about 2 weeks as she started too flower all by herself bless her and i got sum nice tight nodes because of it
and it turns out i got the blue 1 free as my hydro store took 3 weeks to deliver so total cost of 2 bulbs was £19.98 ($40)
and can some 1 tell me how too post pics please :D no need i know now i got too have 50 posts lol :jointsmile:

You can't post pix because your log is in the Growroom Setup section, and this section doesn't allow pic upload....
Make another thread in the basic grow section, and there you will be able to upload pix....can't wait to see them m8....:thumbsup:
