good luck, hope its worth your time
why thank u kind sir
Post this in a Grow Log. It's obviously for your own documentation because you are going to do things your own way and well, of course. Like you said, it's your grow. If constructive criticism isn't wanted, I'd suggest moving this thread. You will be less bothered elsewhere.
I wish you luck, you are really going to need it.
good fuckin luck
I'm just gonna keep my big mouf shut so I don't sound like a 'pirate parrot'... good luck, kid...
well thanks for all the good lucks...
sarcasticly or not... we'll just see how it goes..
here is a pic i took today... This is about a week from sprout.
hope for females lol
Im not sure if i read it on your other thread but what are you vegging and flowering with ligh wise? (not cycle)
Lightwise im using 2 100 watt cfl ... 1 is in the red package and 1 from the blue package...
but im prolly gonna buy 2 more warm cfl's pretty soon.
so i have nothing to worry about here cause if it hermaphordites on me then ill be able to have lots of seeds of dank bud to use for better grows...... or i can just pick off the male parts with tweezers if i dont want the seeds....Quote:

(i donno if thas how it works but there was only 1 seed out of an 8th. so maybe only one branch got polinated?)
which means the plant that i have most likely will be a female or a hermi but the chances of it being male are slim to none amirite? or amirite?
wow i just kliked the user CP link and it says i have an infraction... reason: Personal Attack/Insult Other Member(s).... Points: 1........
then it dawned on me....
and then i commenced to laughing my ass off.... but i dunno why its funny tho..... it just has a slight comedic element to it.Quote:

Hurry up and post pictures of your success story, rather than babble about unrelated topics which have nothing to do with your original thread....
Due to your attitude towards helpful advice I'm going to let you find out for yourself why that is not the smart thing to do, you really haven't done any research on growing yet have you?Quote:

some good advice, whether you want it, or not: READ UP on HOW to grow, then start over ... so far, you have most of it wrong ... not picking on you, but I would hate to have other newbies read about YOUR WAY of 'growing', and waste time trying to imitate it ... :smokin:
Okay let me REPEAT MYSELF and ask this question 1 more time because i didnt seem to receive an answer to my question the first time..Quote:

anytime you find a seed, it means the mother plant was pollinated by a male (or, regrettably, a hermaphrodite) ... hermaphrodite = BAD ... hermaphroditism is a trait you do NOT want to continue ... the plant is just like humans, it has a male and a female, and they get 'impregnated' ... females that mature without being pollinated, produce a 'sinsemilla' yield (means 'without seeds') sinsemilla is normally what you want to grow ... the touted 'female seeds' from a hermaphrodite pollination is a BAD idea, it continues the hermie trait into future generations ... you wont know how yours got pollinated, if it was just bagseed, with no history ...
hope this helps
Okay thanks for your help...maybe i just interpreted her grow guide wrong...Quote:

and as far as pollinating goes...if a plant gets polinated is the whole plant going to produce seeds or just in the area it was pollinated? Because ive smoked stress before and it usually has so many seeds in it that there is hardly any bud.
only the individual flowers that are physically pollinated will produce a seed ... be aware, the pollen is almost microscopic, and literally milllions of particles will circulate your grow area ... best to leave the breeding alone, until you have perfected growing ... that way, you will be experienced at choosing your best parents, and know what to look for ... most all of your questions are already answered in the Growing FAQs, or found in the 'Search' function ... good luck with your research and your growing ...
k thanks for the help...
i just looked inside and its gettin bigger by the second it seems like...
l
heres a pic from yesterday and the one from today to see the new growth...
Oh yea, shes growing a mile a minute
Emmm...You know that you don't have to make a new post for each sentence....
To make feminised seeds you stress a pure female into throwing male flowers, you use the pollen from that hermaphrodite to pollinate another pure female and that produces the feminised seeds, the seeds that come from the hermaphrodite would most likely be hermaphrodites themselves.Quote:

I also think it is time you sweetened up your attitude a bit, I for one have had enough of the way you are demanding answers for problems that are going to be of your own making, you are wasting everyone's time here as you are not prepared to accept that experienced growers may actually know something you don't. You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.Quote:

No, you can tell from the plant pot that the camera is closer to the seedling.:DQuote:

she looks OK ... don't overwater, (like most of us do :D), and you should do fine ...

he was referring to the seeds from the hermie - not from the pollinated female.
feminised are from the pollinated female, that was pollinated by the hermi.
im high btw sorry in advance
its a good thing you've disabled reputation kbrandon, cuz it would just be way too high.
If you read, you'd find the COUNTLESS posts I've made on the fact that it is the PROPENSITY to go hermaphrodite that is passed along. This isn't by any stretch something I've omitted or misled anyone on.
Offspring of a herm pollination are likely to go herm under the same conditions. Commercial growers usually keep appropriate conditions, which yours won't be nearly as good as (I can tell already...), therefore your offspring will be even MORE likely to herm on ya. That's like the nth time I've written this on these forums.
