I just took 300mg of DXM 10 minutes ago, and I'm just posting this to make sure everything turns out ok. I'm not feeling anything so far, a little like im dreaming though as i type this. I can't concentrate if I try, it almost feels like being burnt out right now. Well I hope this turns out to be a good trip :) I'm eating saltines and drinking milk to make sure I don't throwup :) goodnight.,

I did the samething the other night, drank a zicam that had 300mg in it. i felt dizzy and like i was really high and sometimes saw colors and felt myself going up and down thru the highs. but i didnt trip . so this weekend its hbwr and then i will try 500 mg of dxm later

jesus mother of god i will never do this again lol my stomach hurts so bad i feel as if im gonna throwup but i never can. I've only thrown up 3 times in my entire life and having a hard stomach and fast metabolism is shitty. I just shit out 10 pounds of pure green liquid and some chunks of oatmeal haha, I kept seeing shit when I closed my eyes and I felt like my body was stretched really really really far and it was heavy as shit, right now im confused and i have no basic motor functions, if i get up to walk i feel as if someone is doing it for me, and i have to hold on to stuff. I got about an hour of sleep, but I don't remember ever sleeping, my mouth won't stop shaking, and it's so dry but whenever i take a sip of water i feel like im gonna throwup. The tussin just isn't good for doing this stuff. I don't know if I liked it or not, I felt like I was going to die and I was the only perfect human being in this world to be born and I fucked it all up. Now I keep getting waves of highness. I sobered up a little when I took a shit for the 2nd time while I was sitting on the toilet, and the wall started expanding which was pretty funny, but yeah my stomach sucks :(. I weigh 112 and took rougly 320mg of DXM. So for my weight that is probably a heavy trip. Mind you I have never tried anything other than weed and I have never got drunk before. I'm going to write a report to myself of how I feel so I can read it when I'm sober.
Oh and my fucking head was itching like a mofo but I knew it was from the DXM trip so I stopped itching, and then I read this on erowid which I must've overlooked god damn me!
Many people experience severe itching at doses over 100mg which precipitate anxiety attacks.
I got itchy in the head then started panicing because I thought it would last forever, and no matter how many time I actually said out loud "You're on DXM dude your tripping" I couldn't stop these feelings....This drug is iiiiinnnsane
and I don't want to move from my chair because I want the effects to wear off while I'm sitting here so I can go to bed. When I was lying in bed it triggered off a bad trip and I don't know why, but when I sit here it hurts my stomach lol I'm fucked either way.

Never had stomach problems with DXM, but I've had the itch baaaad. Never swayed me from usin' it again.. and again.. I guess it just isn't for everyone. :cool:
I finally threw up around 7am. I couldn't sleep worth my life, I had the worst shits ever, probly from all the sugar in the tussin, it still feels like my stomach is beating instead of my heart and I keep shaking still. I keep drinking lots of water so how long will these effects last?
Make sure it is the Tussin Maximum Strength Cough, so it doesn't have any other chemicals besides Dextromethorpan in it. Gaufenisen (SP?) makes you throw up.

I went out to Golden Coral restaraunt with a few friends while I was tripping balls on 1200 mg's of dxm last night. It was pretty crazy.

It happened to me on my first trip but i took 900 mgs. in the form of Delsym. The Infamous DXM Tweek (my first tweek was from 10 P.M. to 2 A.M.), it happens when your alone, or you close your eyes for too long on the fourth plateau. Everything from that night will eventually come back, and it isn't pretty. Let me guess you woke up with a more passionate love for close friends and family, right or wrong? In short terms you had a Near-Death experience and went out-of-body, you will probably remember repeating your dreams (visions when you close your eyes) and actions for a while. Another distinct feeling just before the tweek, is the feeling like your body was literally dieing. It sucks and makes you realize what the people around you mean to you. Next trip wait untill your sober to decide to sleep, believe me the fourth plateau is very long and longer if you up your dose. Beware you can fuck yourself up with this chemical over time, and quickly if you abuse it. Peace

DXM isnt good for you... dumb fuck lol. It has alot of ptentialy hazardous side-effects it's been seen in many studied individuals usually from the ages of 15-25. It's a "fun dope" kind of high of course. It does have a pretty high potential for abuse but I never felt addicted after 5 times I did it within 5 months. DXM can be horrible, i went on month long binges, and now i know DXM is only fun to do once in a while. So i trip once a month, sometimes less.
Ok, I just went out and bought a bottle of Tussin Maximum Strength for my first trip on DXM. I did so after reading some of these posts on here and getting some information. When I was there I recalled reading about someones experiences with Zicam as a DXM source, but luckily I remembered reading to make sure there are no other active ingredients. When I looked at the active ingredients, it contained Acetaminophen at a much higher quantity than the DXM. Now, im reading up a bit before taking my bottle and I noticed on Erowid.org that taking high doses of Acetaminophen will give a good chance of a long painful death. Now this is just a caution to anyone out there who is thinking of experimenting with this drug, be very careful and do your research.
I think drinking cough syrup probably makes the DXM experience a whole lot nastier (even if there are no other active ingredients), I've never had any nausea or anything with the powder.
