Last 3-4 weeks of flowering. What am I doing wrong? P deficiency?
Hi all,
First year of growing outdoors (well grow ever really). Last 3-4 weeks of flowering and this is happening... all my plants look rather sick, I have flushed their water, ensured they are getting enough water and food (few hot days here in a row wilted them somewhat).
Am I missing something? all the little white hairs are now going brown, I dare say its time to pull up and get what I can?
Any help / guidance would be appreciated :)

Thats just great, up until right this second I thought my plants looked ok. :chainsaw: I have popcorn size buds few and far between where you have tall fat buds.
More pictures to rub it in please :)

luv we're going to get you going 100% and pound a plant!!! :D
Thea...don't know any of your specs so can't be much help. I had a plant like that in hydro that looked rather similar.....turned out to be rootbound and developed a root fungus which was not a good thing.
how about some more info on your setup? Like....everything?? ;)

They look hot and calcium deficient to me. Fill out the troubleshooting form, include your plant height and pot size too, and everything you've done to them in the past 2 weeks.

-indoor or outdoor: Outdoor
-soil, soilless, or hydroponic: Soilless
-specific medium: Not a specific brand as such, it looks a lot like the bags of canna medium you buy... but cheaper ;)
-Soil type/brand
-Hydro/aero/soilless system type: NA
-Anything you have added to the soil: NA
-Soil pH: ?? never checked it
-Water source: 220lt tub, filled weekly
-Water pH: 6.5ish
-Age of plant: 5 months
-Type of fertilizer: Liquid food added to the water
-Rate of application: 200ml/200 litres (what was recommended)
-Lighting source and distance from plant: Outdoor...so a few million kms?
-Temperature (both day and night if you are running a dark period): hot recently, but i have some outside just 'doing their own thing' and they are fine.
-% Relative humidity: ? rather
-Lighting schedule: The sun
-Type of ventilation your room has: 3x40cm fans running flat out , 24 hours a day
They're about 7ft tall I would say (including pot), they did get hot for a day (water pump sh1t itself) and they went limp, but i managed to catch it on day2 and pumped them full of water and fixed the watering system so they're now back to getting fed,
Pot size is 510mm (pic attached), I would say 60 litre or so?
i have attached pics of the food (part A and B) and the monsta bud stuff that i was also told to use.

As for what Ive done in the last 2 weeks... nothing that i have not done in the previous weeks. Like I say above.. the pump shi1t itself and they missed out on water for a day (possibly 2), but quickly fixed that and that was about 4-5 days ago now, and they are still as you see them.
It is quite warm here at the moment (100f) but the enclosure has 3 fans in it which keeps the air moving. i have another fan i can add if need be, but the problem is room... ive put too many plants in this year..

they are 7 feet tall? Ummm....how many gallons is your pot? I'm pretty sure they are rootbound at that size in that size pot.
PS...Soilless? Are we talking about coco? I don't "do" coco if that's what you mean....it scares me.

LMAO! :D
I think the heat is affecting those plants, and agree with Weedhound that they're probably rootbound... which, in itself, can cause all sorts of other problems. I've grown outdoors before, but never in a greenhouse setting. In the southeast US, temperatures can get pretty warm. When it would get up into the 100s, I found myself having to water much more frequently. (My watering system was pretty basic - it included me, a couple of buckets, and a creek. :stoned:) If this is where your temperatures are hovering, you might need make adjustments to your watering system to compensate for the added evaporation.

My cloak of secrecy is slowly being lifted. Pretty soon, I'm gonna need to change my username to Mr. Forthright!

They're certainly rootbound somewhat.. but its nothing more than they have been for the last couple of weeks of their growing cycle, its just been since the heat I think...
Other than perhaps digging them into the ground next time around (6 months or so) as these are pretty much the largest pots you can easily buy here.
Yes, its a coco looking stuff.. coconut husk or something I think its suppose to be? its good for drainage etc.
I water for 4 minutes 3 times a day and for another 2-3 minutes in the middle of the night... there is always moisture an inch or so under the surface.
we've had a couple of days in the 100's but nothing prolonged.. it would get warmer than that in the greenhouse given how it works, but the fans and the water keeps it going.
I have some in smaller pots outside that i pretty much neglect other than giving it water every now and then and they're going fine.. not showing any signs like these ones are.

well I just lost a nice Power Plant due to rootboundness and fungal disease in the roots so that would certainly be my first thought.
Good luck.

Coco is so different.....I'm afraid I don't understand it well enough to give you instructions about it's use. I really would hate to tell you to do something and have it turn out to make your problems worse instead of better. :(
Can you put it in some sort of bigger pot? That's what I did with my plant but because I was growing hydro I couldn't "transplant" from the original container and that's what really caused the most problems.....the issues being that the roots were too crowded and caused areas of very poor and/or non-existent drainage which THEN led to root issues and rot and.......you get the picture.
More room is all I can think of.

Lmao, Ozi Magic's company motto: "Fertilising crops & banks accounts" - found on back of bottle of nutes in 2nd pic above.
