No more storner!!!!!!!!!!

Well anyway i thought i would post this. I have not smoked in 2 days. I am really deppressed and kind confused. Not confused like wtf am i doing but my feelings seem like they are confused. I have been smoking daily for a long time. This will be my first real break. I will no longer be smoking daily. I really love cannabis and i think it should be a special experince if you are not using it as a medicine. I am plannig to stop smoking for a month and then only do it on ocesion. The second reason i quit is to find out if i would get withdrawls. I don't have any physical whithdrawls but as i said i am really depressed and my feelings seem akward. So i guess i kinda have mental withdrawls. But i don't have bad cravings. I have a little craving but its not really that bad. So i guess am not going to be a stoner anymore i will be a more of a once in a while user. So i will keep you guyes updated and see if i can go a month or a little less:D without smoking.

Last quarter I smoked almost every day. I made the same decision as you. I had a 6 week break and only smoked about twice a week since then. After this break I get so incredibly high. I even got the giggles a bit.

But I feel as if I am getting back into the old habit of smoking more now. I think I've smoked every day for the past 4 days.

Im planning to stop at some point aswell for a little break, maby a couple weeks, and then start up again but only smoking at night..:jointsmile:

dude, i just got off a 4 day break, it was good, it was relaxing to me, the weather started turning nice so it kept my mind preoccupied with wanting to go outside, though i traded it in for caffeine and dramamine, which is fun, but even after 4 days, i took 2 hits through a friends pipe which was getting clogged, to the point where there was barely any smoke coming through, and i still got high, but i would have liked to go longer, but it was fine with me, i didnt have a desire to, and i did it to enhance the situation rather than because i needed to.

I smoke to much, theres always so much bullshit in my life I have started waking up at night in a bad tripp, smoking myself to sleep. Waking up hung over in the morning and smoking again. Then smoking as soon as schools out, then all damn day. I have acess to so much bud though. When I quit I go through terrible emotional withdraws. Wtf do I do, cannabis serves plenty of good purposes for me but its taken over to a certain degree.

I've gone 6+ months straight high. Longest I've quit since I started was a month, and havn't come close to a month since.

I don't remember what sober actually feels like, as I'm still high off green dragon and pot from last night. I'm about to smoke a bong of kief right now too.

I'd say figure out something else to do in place of smoking pot. I think you've got the smoking habit, just like stigs.

if i were you i wouldnt just stop all of a sudden. treat it like an addiction and stop for a week and smoke over the weekend.. then 2 weeks.. then the full month. then on occasion. im about to star smoking.. well.. vaping but i only plan to do it on weekends and maybe once during the week.

Thanks everyone. Today i refused my first hit. A free bowl and i refused and but am proud because i know il get really high at the end of the month. Someone said treat it like an addction. That is not a bad idea but i want to control my life and that means i want to smoke when i want to anway deppression cleared up today am feeling better. peace :thumbsup:

i felt a lil weird for the first few days after i stopped smoking (tolerance/employment break) but its been 35 days and im fine now. plan on starting again this weekend now that im employed again :D

i just came back from my .... ONE day break. lol...ahhh i know i should of waited till tomorrow cause its FRIDAY bututt f it. lol i was having a jointed i rolled yesterday and i didnt end up using it cause i was busy all day tring to get my computer to work but i couldnt so it took like 5 hours of my life :( anyway i had a big lunch and i though the j i rolled yesterday would hit the spot. so i go outside a bit windy and lite up:bigsmoke: and then the j burnt half way on one side and im like WTF?!?!?! :what: so i moved to an different area of my house and tried again and the same thing happen again im :wtf3: then i was thinking so i still try to smoke and and i decided not to :s4: went inside got my bowl packed a little and place the joint in blow and sat down and enjoyd:woohoo: :dance:

I suggest drinking lots and lots of water. it seems to help. one thing you may start having very vivid dreams. they can be disturbing, that was the major effect I dealt with when i took some time from smoking. exercise helps if you can. i did a ton of walking. the insomnia i dealt with was tough at first. don't sweat it too much. as bad as you feel, and you might not believe me now, you will at some point start to feel better. the discomfort will pass. I'm not a member but they do have some great info on what to expect when stopping on the Marijuana anonymous website. not saying anything as to that one way or the other, smoker here, but any info. that may help can be beneficial.

I used to be a heavy smoker myself, but I've quit for 3 weeks now. (B/c I'll be having to take a drug test in a few months.) The first week was tough, mainly because my mind was so clouded I was adapting to trying to think normally again, probably like you're saying you're confused. After that, it got smoother and now I feel fine, just a little depressed but I think it's because I am just not used to doing things not high and I've been pretty bored lately. Good luck you to you and I hope you can make it a month!!

Man! You speak the truth! I've been high at least once every day for the past month or so, except for the last couple days. Its been tough getting sleep thats for sure, and when I do get to sleep the dreams I have are pretty intense (which is quite a change from when I smoke before I go to bed, and I never remember my dream).

I buy bottled watter in these 12-packs for my mini-bong. I've drank *counts the empty water bottles on the floor* almost 8 of them since I've been without bud. Water makes me feel pretty good though:)

I guess I'm lucky, besides a bit of apathy I don't have any problems when I take breaks from herb. I do get some amazing dreams though, I like nightmares.
Anyways if you feel like smoking, just remember how ripped you're going to get after the fast.

Thanks guys alot of kind words. Am feelling alot better today. I might be getting bud from my uncle everytime he stops by he ussaly gives me some for free. I guess il take it and keep it till am ready. The one thing i don't have a problem with is sleeping. I can't sleep with or without weed lols. Everyone has insomnia in my family. Night is when i ussaly do all my school work. I go to bed about 2-3 and fall asleep by 4. Its really weired but last night was my first dream in a while it was not too bad anyway hope ur breaks are going well. :)

yes you can go a month, and the month.. when that month time is up it will feal like it's been 3 or 4 days:thumbsup:

Well my uncle and couple freinds came over and they started smoking i took two puffs and got a nice buzz. Anyway i feel fine and am still not planing to do it for a while.
