Here is our task in this thread. Design the perfect society. Everyone should think as big as they can, and write down creative ideas even if they don't work.
I have a lot of my own ideas, but I'll only post them a bit later. I don't want to influence you guys with my ideas before I read yours.
No more "families". Children would be bred in labs and raised by professionals, who themselves were brought up the same way. Tests for I.Q., creativity, and other important qualities will determine what the child's education and profession will be.
All religion would be outlawed.
Finally, a new species that is a cross-breed of man and ape would be developed and trained to do manual labor, many simple service jobs, and dangerous occupations such as military invasions.
LSD mandatory.

The problem with society nowadays is that everyone has become too judgmental and we have forgotten what life is all about! It is not about what you look like or how much money you can make, it's about love and happiness. I don't want to come off too hippy but honestly, what is this world missing? PEACE!
It's something we don't learn in high school, we learn our past, wars, and what we have become, we need to stop teaching hate and our past and teach how to love and appreciate what we have as human beings.
I'll shut up because I don't want to ruin the thread, but think about it, to fix this society what is needed most? A little love for one another and appreciation!

Personal freedoms such as "drug" use are allowed, however if you do something stupid while on drugs, you WILL be held accountable. Blaming the drugs is no excuse.
Harsher penalties for criminals.
Capitalism.
No government hand outs.
Make sure you society has the biggest guns. You never know when shit is going to go down. It's always good to be the best.

Oh and education should be number one priority.
Your society can't have a lasting, secure future if your youth don't have a solid education.
All future advancements will be implemented by Amateurs. The world as it is being the result of Professionalism, Amateurs, I feel, hold a bit more of the spirit of adventure, outside the box thinking, and human 'intuitive' genius. As well, "AM's" are less inclined to be driven by a "profit-before-humanity" "business model". Most maverick inventors were autodidacts,so go build shit in your garage. College will start at about three, no classes or ha, ha, Campuses.People would be taught that to be triggered by adversity is the HIGHEST GIFT, by recognizing experiential focusing shocks on mind/body vistas which need further development.

Kids must go to school everyday and If they skip school to skateboard everyday they will be arrested and do there homework in jail.
There would be public lashing(like with whip)for criminals. Gotta bring this back in style.
Elderly people who are to old but to just sponge up space will be given swift kicks off a bridge.
If you drive to slow under the speed limit you will get the above bridge treatment.
All drugs legal cept crack, heroin, coke, and meth. Maybe meth on occassion if people are real good and behave.

Theres no way to create a perfect society. I personally believe that human kind is already on a set course of failure and once global warming comes to a boil massive floods will wipe out everything and the earth will regenerate itself with the ice age and back through evolution. Maybe I'm just crazy but if it sounds dumb just look up stuff about massive ancient floods and ancient civilizations like Troy and Atlantis.
the world as it is now is a cold fucked up place, the media shows hippies to be stupid, ignorant and simply not smart, but it's the exact opposite, they have found true happiness and inner peace, and it's them we should try and follow in the foot steps of, because if we did, the world would be a great great place. Now of course not everybody would buy in to this, actually most wouldn't, but it would be our own "eden" the perfect place, and if you don't buy in to our beliefs, you can simply leave in a nice way and live where you feel is right for you.
The problem with a perfect society is not the "rules" of society. Its the conflict of people that are expected to follow the "rules" and the people who make them up. If I followed the rules, I would have never smoked weed, driven faster than the speed limit, drank before I was 21 and so on etc etc. etc.
I have a general belief that life is good. But the bad times make the good ones all the better. When I die I surely dont want to spend eternity with all the neurotic head cases that always did what they were told, and never bothered to question authority or be themselves. Most of the time the uptight repressed people are way more effed-up than any of us could dream to be.
I also think the US would be a different place if the President had to walk through the ghettos of DC on his way to work everyday. Just to see the utter poverty and oppression that some people have to deal with on a daily basis. Because they have been born into less fortunate circumstances. 12 year old kids that have to skip school so they can sell drugs to help pay the bills and buy food for their brothers and sisters. Because their father is missing and the mom is and addict.
