Just a quick question, I'm in the SFV, specifically Chatsworth/Northridge area, and I was just wondering where is THE place to get one? Cheap price, for the full 12 months? Thanks fellas.:thumbsup:

Check out Medicann.
MediCann | A Prescription For Change
You can get a rec for 90 bucks, the card is free, and it lasts the full year. They're all over California, so you should find one near you and get yourself set up!
Thanks Majestic.
there's a good number of physicians in the valley. just off the top of my head, i can say we get a lot of patients from dr. eisenberg and dr. ostroffsky.
aside from the price, you want to make sure that the physician you choose has a good verification service that's available 24/7 preferrably.

Thanks KindGreenBuds, IS that Dr James W. Eisenberg? Because I got his card in my wallet, I'm gonna go there, I've had several friends tell me to go there. Though the Medicann place is one street up from me, they seem like they will give you 4-6 month cards for 125, too much.
yes, Dr. James Eisenberg has been my physician for the last 4 years, and i've never had any problems.
So he practices in Santa Monica, and West Hollywood, is that right?
west hollywood.
Actually, medicann has a 90 dollar flat rate and their rec's last the full 12 months. They have a 24 hour over-the-phone verification service, and they also have a 24/7 online verification service.
Medicann subscriptions are respected by police officers because they are so common throughout California.
I don't know anything about the doctors down in socal, but I've found that Medicann is a much better deal and much more reliable than many independent doctors.
That's just my two cents.
Thanks for the reply majestic, but I called medicann and they told me it was 125 to register. I went to a Dr White in Pacoima, he was done in less than 5 minutes, and I paid 115. It was 125, but I had a 10 dollar coupon.
I got the full 12 months. I heard from a guy waiting in the office that has had his recommendation since the law went into effect that nowadays they only give out 12 month cards, don't know if this is true or not.
could i ask you, you took your medical records, and any other documents? and could i ask where abouts in pacoima? thanks.
No records or anything you just fill out a couple of forms on your health, family history stuff, and what is wrong, and if you currently smoke to treat the condition.
The doc looked me over in a min, asked me a couple of simple questions, and I was certified!

It's 125, but I got it for 115 with a coupon. Renewals are 80 I think.
what no med. records? i'm currently waiting for my copy to be made, if i may ask i thought records were required, but guess i might be wrong..
you dont need them but it makes your case stronger
i found a place near our home but he requires to fill about 7 pages of medical history, myself, family, etc... is that normal for all docs?
I was incorrect its 10 pages total..
Wow that's a lot of paperwork, like I said I filled out out 2-3 forms. It really seemed like the doc at this place was giving them out like candy. He barely even looked at me.
guess i rather take a trip to see a doc with less paper trail... thanks.
did you have to make an appointment?
You don't have to, but you can. I waited 2.5 hours, as I was a walk-in.
wow, 2.5 hours i wonder if my back and legs can hold out that long, i'm going to call them tomorrow and see if the appointment will be better, and let them know of my back and leg problems, and the other stuff and maybe he won't let me suffer to long in his office.. thanks.
I had an appointment and it still took over an hour. I don't know if they were just really busy that day or what was going on, but for me it was the first time being in any establishment full of pro-marijuana users.
It was interesting to meet with other people, nobody seemed to know where they were supposed to go afterwords, so I told one guy about the list on NORML. It sucks those doctors aren't legally allowed to give you that info, but it's not like that info is really that hard to find, just takes a few good Google searches :)
punk, where did you get the coupon? thanks.
ps. also is the cross streets is nordhoff? cause it didn't come up that address in pacoima.
