yeah I completly agree... I made one today and gave it to my buddy and now he's in love with it too... good stuff :D
i like them if i'm doing one bowl, but a gravity bong will rip a bit better better. I usually do them with freinds.
I definitely prefer waterfalls. Seems like I always got milkier and bigger hits:stoned:
i've tried both, and i have tried different combonations of hole size in the waterfall and holes in the cap to regulate how much air and go through the cap before hitting the weed, and i found that a gravity bong done correctly will make a much more milkier and bigger hit, because you have controll over how much smoke is coming in so its just enough while a waterfall could have to little water going out and less smoke is coming in, or the hole is to big. In turn its the same phsyics but a gravity bong has more controll so in turn a better hit.
What's a waterfall bong? Can someone show a picture of it please?

thats an example i just found on google video search real fast
its basically a plastic bottle which u drill 2 holes in it, one on the cap for a bowl, and one on the bottom. fill the bottle with water, screw on the cap, let the water flow out of the bottom hole and light your bowl. lots of people do it over a sink, but i just use a big cup to catch the water and re-use it.Quote:

ive had some good times with waterfall bongs... One time I was at my buddys house who lives in this little neighborhood. We had some weed and decided to toke so we made a waterfall bong (since my piece was at home and he didnt own one). Well we filled a bucket up with water lol and were walking around the neighborhood with a bucket of water and a sobe bottle at night (sketchy much?) and he took me to a place where he usually tokes in the woods on these peoples second driveway on the corner of a 3-way intersection. So we are just sitting there ripping waterfall and a car is coming so we dive into the woods (and my friend whos smart and turned his cell on silent couldnt find it for 10 mins). When we are clear we start ripping again and we can still see the car down the road aways but its all good. Well we were chilling there keepingg an eye on the car and noticed what we hadnt before, the only reason we could still see it was because it was stopped then all of a sudden it went into reverse and started coming our way. So we hid the bucket and we (again) dove into the woods. The car stopped in front of the driveway we were in and scanned it looking for us but didnt see nething so finally moved on. It went and stopped at the same spot it had before so me and my buddy went on a long treck through lots of woods back to his house a few blocks away. We went and we hid behind his pool house and finished ripping there. Once we were done we just dumpped the bucket and snuck back in the house and chillaxed! it was pretty sweet and the adreniline rush we got from those people bothering us was awesome lol.
EDIT: Btw we had the bucket of water because no sink was available so we would just fill up the sobe with water when it was time for the next hit and then let the water flow out into the bucket.

Ahh.... I'd beg to differ. In that situation, it is easier to have a bucket with a gravity bong. And it is quicker to fill the bong with smoke. However I don't really agree they work better.Quote:

you can control the amoun in a gravity bong to, just pull it slower or faster, essentially if done right they should come out the same, because its using the same physics to make the vacuum, but replacing the water wont make a difference unless your filtering the smoke through the water.Quote:

It is the same concept, I like both. I just think that waterfall bongs offer more ease and control. Gravity bongs are a bit of a hassle to me. But I do like both. Each to his own. If you like g-bongs more, more power to you. :thumbsup:
