my first grow LR#2

i have started a lowrider#2 grow and i thought i would post up the results as i go.
it has beeen growing for 3 weeks now.it is coming on well apart from the bottom leaves getting a bit yellow.
is this normal with the lowrider or is it needing a bit more tlc.
also it took a growth spurt on saturday when i was out and the top got a little burnt but it seems to be ok.:thumbsup:

any info will be appreciated. :D

ps sorry about the quality. i need to get a new camera this was done on my mobile phone.:(

You have pics of your grow area?

Nice LR2's. Just harvested mine. These plants dont need alot of nutes so dont over-do-it. I will say the smoke is much better than I'd heard. My 2 females were quite different while vegging and flowering. One slow and steady the other did the growth spurt thing. The final product differs also. The slow plant leans toward a sativa buzz, while the fast finisher will "knock a hole in the back of your head".
If yours mimicks my "fast plant" it will flower fast and finish quick... lots of cloudy trich's (85%) in about 7 1/2 wks. flowering. Taste is fantastic. Good Luck

i had a spare half hour so i took a couple of pics of my little plant.
the first pic is of her when she was about 3 weeks old. the second is from about 5 week s and the rest are from 5 min ago she is nearly seven weeks now. :thumbsup:

i have her under 24/0 and im just using baby bio in her water.
nothin fancy;)
hopefully i will get a nice smoke from her when the end comes.
i will update next week or so.:jointsmile:

sorry about the quality but my mobile is crap.

i must also thank the peeps that post on these forums as your knowledge and your willingness to share it has helped me alot through my first grow.
as you can see in the first pic she is quite ill. and with a little searching and reading i was able to get her healthy again.:)

some ideas on the best way to finnish her off would be nice.:wtf:
like.... am i better keeping her at 24/0 or am i better getting some night cycles in there.like 18/6 for the last few weeks.
and also she is getting mighty thirsty. she is drinking atleast 2.5 pints a day.is this normal? her room is not too hot and she is ventilated well.when i got home today she looked unwell(her leaves were all hanging down lifeless) but perked up quite a bit with a watering.
some help in my last anxious weeks would be appreciated.:)

where is all the cristaly trich at?

I just got some LR2 seeds for my B-day to day.
and I am gunna grow them in my DWC system.

but UR LRs do look dam healthy to me. good luck. and it be cool to see UR yield from them.

Im not real familiar with lr2, and ive heard its almost a different breed all in itself :)

Jst wanted to say that your pot looks really, really small compared to the plant, is it rootbound? Looks like she wants some more room to stretch out them roots! :)

Also, Ive heard lr2 is an autoflowering strain.. but shouldnt it be under 12/12 anyway? :)

this is my first grow so just learning as i go along.do you think i will be alright repotting her? if i am ok doing it i will get a bigger pot and re pot her straight away.:thumbsup:

Well i cant remeber if its lr or lr2 thats auto :) meaning you can leave em under 24 hrs of light, but theyre going to flower no matter what when they decide to. Its why you cant make mums or good clones :)

I would def. recommend getting a bigger pot, are roots growing out the holes in the bottom of those? If they are id def put that sucker in another place. But if you think you only have 2-3 weeks left you might want to jst let it go. The latest Ive ever repotted was less than half way into flowering (maybe like 3 weeks? or coulda been just 2) when they still had a ways to go.

just had a look and there are no roots coming out the bottom.
i recon i will keep an eye on it and just finnish it in the pot its in.
i will put this down as lesson learned for next time.:)

They look great. maybe just befor U harvest them U could barrow a good camira and take a pic of them in the dark with flash on. so we can see there buds true color. just an idea.

i will try and take a couple of pics in the dark just before i chop her down.:jointsmile:

she has a little bit of heat stress so i have raised the light a little and also reduced the humidity.
does anybody have a rough idea on how much longer to leave her before i can harvest. :rastasmoke:

i got a handheld microscope today and the trichs are looking good.
they are almost all cloudy but i cant see any that are amber.
can anybody tell me roughly how long it will take for them to start turning amber..

hell ya dude that looks dam fine. verry nice job. even with the lil heat stress she had.

ok she has been cut down and is now being dried out in a dark warm room.:thumbsup:
here is a couple of pictures of her sitting out ready to be hanged to dry with a clipper lighter for a size comparison.
the rest are in the room where she is being dried.:jointsmile:

i will get a weight in a week or so when she has dried out.

didnt weigh it but estimate at around 1.5 oz. (could be more)
iv got another three lr#2 going and i am away to start some bag seed white widow for a summer smoke :thumbsup:
