First harvest, DWC with CFLs + Home-made trim dryer
3-4 weeks veg time, 9 weeks flower, 2 plants, 5 gallon home-made bubble buckets, GH 3-part nutes, 5 weeks of big bloom in 2nd half of flowering, Opium feminised from Paradise Seeds. I only used CFLs, no HID or any other lighting. The fan simply pushes air up through the bucket.

You must not be a very good grower if you can't make water evaporate faster than physics allows. What's wrong with you? Just do like Jesus and turn the moisture in the buds to THC, making less than a pound smoke out several hundred thousand people.

The trim-dryer reduce a whole 5 gallon bucket down to the 1/2 gallon mark of dry trim in a day and a half worked real nice. Update pics, they are gettin pretty dry but I haven't weighed them quite yet. I can't quite eye it as this is my first harvest but maybe 2-3 ounces. It doesn't look like a lot but that shit is pretty nugly. Dense too.

A lot, schma lot. You've got weed. Nice going. Maybe some day you'll be able to afford the time and money to use some HID lighting, or maybe even my LED array when it comes out. Until then, fluoro can do some pretty cool stuff if you use the proper spectrums, and enough of it.

4 ounces dry weight from roughly 25~28k lumens. Can't wait to get 80k in t5 for my 4 plant SCRoG.

So 30k lumens got me 4 ounces, I have seen 600w HPS grows that get less. Proper spectrum? Like HPS or MH? Actually, Fluoro's have a much better spectrum than either. Only issue is they aren't as efficient. So what, 864 watts for 80,000 lumens is only slightly less than an HPS at 600 watts. I would much rather have better light than more of it, what good is 100,000 lumens if your plant can use all of it? Not only that, my local hydro shop has 8 lamp t5 fixtures on sale for $200 ea, and to top it all off they run cool so no heat sources visible. Going to break out the IR camera once I get my new setup just to make sure.
