Do you guys that drink dxm....

...use a chaser, I cant stand how some of the liquid dxm tastes, delsym, some robitussin, etc.... i usually chase it down with coke and hold my nose so i cant taste it... its fine for like the first couple sips then i cant help my gag reflexes. cold coke works good.

Do you guys do that??

whoa, I took like 600 mg like an hour ago to get a good feeling.... and shit, i just turned around to look at my friend and BAM! I feel dizzy and my sight is blurry, lol... im gonna have a fun night.

i dont use chasers, i happen to like the taste of robitussin.

After a while you start to like the taste...I dont use chasers either.

i drink water after i chug, if you can consider water a chaser.

I always chase with water or soda. It helps the taste go away faster. Btw, how was the trip, WeB?

I just did DXM for my 2nd time last night, and I held my nose while chugging the tussin then immediately drank 16oz of orange gatorade while still holding my nose. THe gatorade flushed down any leftover syrup that might have been inbetween my teeth or on my tongue, and left behind a nice orange taste. Then I had another 16oz of gatorade for my rehydration pleasure. I did 354mg (one 4oz Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough syrup, only containing 15mg DXM HBr per 5ml no other active ingredients) and it was really fun. Definitely a stay home drug IMO, but to each his own. Now I have a question of my own, how often can you safely do DXM? In comparison to weed, DXM was just as fun but it was a pretty different high. The experience I had was like, I would be moving but not really feel myself moving. Or id be going fast and not feel like I was going fast, and at one point I felt extremely light weight, like a feather. I didnt see anything or hear anything different, but I felt great and I had a lot of fun with my experience. I woke up a little groggy this morning, but not a bad groggy at all kind of hazy and dazed still feeling the DXM just a little bit. Great drug, 5.99 for a 4oz bottle OTC, easy to get and easy to chug down for a great trip. I recomend to all!

I need to cut back on it. This weekend we had a 4 day weekend and i've done it 5 times already.

This is probably not the kind of drug you want to be doing frequently. It may not visibly harm your body, but it obviously has addictive potential and fucks with your mind if you arn't careful.

Thanks for the information, Nullific. In my defense, though, I knew that there were currently no proven human cases of permanent brain damage associated with DXM. However, I live by a "better safe than sorry" philosophy. I've found myself to be completely susceptible to DXM addiction, and have therefore chosen to limit myself to as little recreational use as possible.

No need for chasers, just use the pills...

Well if you must use liquid, I recomend some kinda chaser, personally i like seven up or somthing with fizz. For me each time i do it, it tastes worse and worse and gets harder and harder to gulp down, I dont know how anyone, unless already on dxm (I can't taste a damn thing when on DXM) can chug robo and enjoy the taste.

water is the best chaser even if you dont mind the taste. dxm dehydrates you to a high degree so the more water you drink the better.

the best idea is to get robotussin cough gels but if you have to drink the syrup just pour the whole thing in a glasss and and a full glass of water and toothpaste. Hold your nose and down the robo then with your nose still held down the watter and put the toothpaste in your mouth it works for me and iv done oer 1100 in one sitting with just the syrup
