i stopped smoking for a week

i wanted to prove to myself that i could stop smoking and i thought i was smoking too much at least an oz a week smoking 24/7 and not getting that stoned it was nothing to do with the bud it's good shit i get, it was the immune system, so i decided to take a week of smoking and keep away from anything associated with the fine herb includeing this site, something i haven't done for many many years. the first day i was very tempted to smoke and found it hard haveing my mind and body in a differant zone but resisted, the rest of the week got easier but i still had the urge to smoke alot of the time.yesterday morning was my first smoke in 8 days and it was the best smoke i've had in years, i was like a zombie and this morning after my first spliff i'm the same again, this thread has taken me 1/2 hour lol. it definately was worth it, not only to prove to myself that i can stop if i want to, but also the buzz i got was soooooooooo good:bigsmoke:

I recently went an entire month. My usual connection went out of the country, unknown to me. I finally got a 1/4th and its the best stuff ive had in a long time. It was a nice reunion, especially when i ate about 7 dinners worth of food. :jointsmile:

There is something fucked up with my body. I've grown a tolerance and I can't get rid of it.

I smoked a half ounce in a month (that's a lot for me) and I took a 1 week break. Yesterday (day 8) I smoked 2 bowls and had the usual "tolerance" high, which makes me really tired only.

No smoke for 1 week and I still have the tolerance.

Everybodys tolerances will differ. I notice if I take a week off or more, which I do occassionally,if its only a week my high is great but if I wait two weeks its incredible. It takes time for your body to get rid of the THC and depending on your body size, weight, mass, fats and such it can take longer.

first few smokes after were great :) but a few days later was back to normal :(

it doesn't take long to get back to normal, first day was good next morning was good and now i'm back to normal, maybe if i decide to do it again i'll take a month off, but i can't see me doing that for a few years at least.

haha cannabis breaks should forever be called "fasting".

i heard from a doctor somewhere that for every month you should take a week off. just to give your lungs and body time to recover from whatever little damage has been done.
