Anybody know anything on United Airlines Trug Testing Procedures?? Help me out!!

Hi Everybody!!

I just got this job for united airlines but not as a pilot so dont worry, more of a paper pusher. So I just found out TODAY that i got the job and i start march 3rd which is a few weeks away. last time I smoked was yesterday and before that I burned about everyday or every other day. So now i have a few weeks to stay clean but here's my problem, I though most jobs didnt offer you the job untill a pre-screen drug test. So should I be worried and expect a drug test that day? also i was thinking about going to GNC and getting a system cleaner from their. Anybody have any experiences with those??

Ok thats good to know, Thanks. :dance: So I should expect a drug test that day then. Now I just need to figure out which way to go, either the synthetic pee or the system cleaner.

I was getting so f'n spooked when people where telling me they do a hair sample test but i guess i feel a little bit relieved. do you know if when they call me into health if they will make me get into a gown or something?? i hope not cuz that would suck and also if they do their testing offsite? thanks alot!!!! :D

My friend had a Urine test for united and said that he was watched, often times Ua's will be supervised. He worked out like there was no tomorrow drank plenty of water and was clean for exactly 14 days. He smoked heavily every day up until 14 days before his test, he smoked good quality regular type weed, it wasn't the highest of grades(kindbud/chronic), but it wasn't the worst either. He passed his test. Hope this helps good luck. I've got a test tomorrow I hope I pass.

If you know that you will be observed (unusual for a pre-employment, but transportation jobs may have special rules), you should read and follow the dilution sticky, using Gatorade or similar electrolyte replacement drink for water. Get some home tests and test your first piss of the day (most potent). If you pass that, you should be OK when you are diluted. Try to relax and just do the best you can.

My Hubby says it was at the airport, during the physical, in a gown, but they didn't watch when he did the UA.....Unless it's changed. Good-luck!

thanks for the info LdyMarsRN, i had a feeling i might have to wear a gown. so i am going to have to go with the quickfix on this one and the tryng to dillute my stuff cuz if i cant replace it im going to have to dillute it i.e. water or those system cleaners. double pair of tighty whiteys here i come!

You are indeed correct Sir, I prefer fruit of the looms. I put the bottle in the pouch under the front opening top first. Shove it in tight under the brothers and it will stay.

Put the bottle in with the heat pad facing down away from Your body. Practice and time pulling down Your pants and getting the bottle out and putting it right back in there after You pour, It seems easier. If You drop it thats the end of Your test.

Watch out when You put it back in and make sure the heat pad is away from the boys because with the bottle empty the pad will get much warmer and You will roast Your nuts a little.
