how do you make a BUBBLER SYSTEM?

thanks willie for the reply, i have clones that i want to put in a hydro system that is easy to make as i have an nft that is in 12/12 for the next 6 weeks or so. so i want an easy hydro setup i can make on the side until the nft is ready for them. thanks for the info ont that thread, i think i've seen it around

Here is the pic willy was talking about, and as for switching from the bubbler to the NFT, don't do it, the bubbler will grow your plants bigger and faster than other hydro setups. Also I would like to know WTF is a NFT anyway?

LOL basic questions, i know. as for not changing it back to nft from bubbler, my WHOLE set up is for the nft system and i want to make a bubbler as a place where i put my clones after they have rooted in perlite mix and have them sit in the bubbler and grow until my nft is out of 12/12 and harvest. then the next set of ladies goes in. but thank you for your advice. i WILL remember that as things always change. take care

I don't understand how someone can say bubblers grow plants faster than NFT, and then ask what NFT is? But I do think there might be a problem doing it this way, if you veg in bubblers too long the root system gets huge and if you're using rain gutters or pvc tubing in NFT, I don't know if you'll be able to cram those roots into the system. I think bubblers are better for growing smaller numbers of larger plants and nft is probably better for larger numbers of smaller plants. But it depends on how your NFT is set up.

thanks for letting me know about the major root growth with the bubbler system. so can i ask you something else? what i plan to do is have the clones that have small roots right now and put them i the bubbler system for about 4 weeks, will that time line have ALOT of roots in 4 weeks? if not, then it would be optimum thing for me. but that is if the roots don't get TOO overgrown in 4 weeks. i anxiously await your reply on this. thank you

4 weeks from clone? I'm not sure, I think it depends on growth rate. I'd think that 4 weeks under a 400 should be a big root system though.

the plants were flowered at 19 days so that root shot is at about 3 weeks.

phillykid420: point taken... The reason I said that is because DWC is considered the fastest hyrdoponic growth method, so if DWC is the fastest, then wouldn't it stand to reason that DWC is faster than NFT??
This was the premise that I made that statement on.

But anyway, I could be wrong, I suppose. But I doubt it.

thank you to you both. i'll start the DWC system when i have it made and then see if it sells me to be the primary growing system. at this point i'm happy with the NFT system as my primary system..

if you have some time, can you give some pros and cons to using the DWC (bubbler) system? thanks again.
