a closer look into Keeko's closet

Well i thought it would be time to start posting some pics of my current and last grow. (finally got off my ass and took some pics)

Im growing in my closet with a 400hps and some florescent side lighting. Kinda a ghetto setup but it works out and the 'rents' dont seem to mind.

These plants are from my previous 'test' grow to find a suitable mother. I germed 5 beans and all of them turned out to be female:thumbsup:. out of the 5 plants i really only found one that i thought was worthy of having ME smoke it.

1st pic is a smaller plant that turned purplish without cooler weather but was a weak smoke with no flavor.

2nd pic is a very airy plant that had wimpy buds that smelled like perfume. not what i was looking for in a plant.

3rd pic is my winner. she smells very skunky in veg but gets fruitier in flower. shes a very fast grower and will stretch if you dont top her.

picture 4 is what my winner and new mother looks like in veg. since this pic was taken i have repoted her and threw her into flower. (still have her as a mother)

pic 5 is the finished product of my favorite plant

i dont weigh any of the finished product because its for personal use and i dont have a scale

Is that just the light making the leaves look really yellow?

Look thru your cameras menu and see if it has a tungsten filter option . It will eliminate some of the hps /yellow ppl. r askin about . Keep up the good work bro. :thumbsup:

(1st pic)well here is my new batch about a week into flowering. I started flowering the clones right after they root and stuck them in either 2 or 3 gallon bags (cant remember what i bought).

(pic 4) this is after about 3 weeks of flowering the stretch i get off my ladies when i dont top them

i forgot to mention im growing in MG organic choice with fox farm grow big and big bloom, along with calmag and some molasses

first two pics are about 4 weeks into flowering with tricomes starting to appear and that fruity/skunky smell starting to flourish

(4th pic) is a new clone that will become the new mother. i have tied her down and topped her.

last pic is from my last harvest and how i expect my new batch to fatten up. Note you can see a few bananas she throws out in the last two weeks before i chop her down. this gives me time to spend with her and pic those bananas out, i find it relaxing and dont mind it at all.

the plant that i now keep is bagseed, which explains the banana tendencies. I started off with more beans that i got through a grower who said they were canadian genetics called "misty blue"

i have ordered before from two web sites that i use to mention but cut down on because of the rules.

also a couple years ago i visted spain and picked up some northern lights and neville haze hybrid from female seeds.nl that i grew out for a while and now i only have one bean of the NL that im waiting on poping. I also went to Amsterdam last spring break and came back with some seeds. As of this moment i still have S.A.G.E. from thseeds and a couple beans of sensi star from paradise.

well i have about 2 weeks until i harvest which will make it day 55 or 56 days flowering. i will harvest one plant each week to see how each plant smokes with a week added on, and in the future keep the best smoke as my number of days to flower for.


the buds have fattened up nicely and now im just waiting for the trics to change.

the plant is the blue bucket is a new mother ( same plant different clone). since this picture i have added more soil on top to cover the exposed roots and i have taken two more clones and tied her down some more.

the two plants that you see are one week into flowering in the picture. im trying to go for a harvest every month +or- a couple of days.

let me clear it up a little bit for you hydrocannabis.

when i started growing i acquired seeds from a grower who said the beans were 'misty blue'......one of the growers own crosses. I also planted one bagseed (which is the only plant i kept because it proved to be the best). so the very first pictures on this thread were of the "misty blues" and one of the bagseed. Since then i have cloned and made a mother of the bagseed and shes in all the pics you see now. hope this helped

He was very understanding and gave me these two cards he had for a long time. its a mirror background so the pic isint that great but you can make out whats on it. I found these to be pretty neat collector items. Anybody else seen these around?

Do you remember much about the S.A.G.E you said you'd grown in the past ? I've been messing w/ a 3 way cross that is 50% S.A.G.E and it yields like crazy Keeko . What was the buzz like by itself , yield etc...

Those are looking awesome keeko. I really wish I had something that looked like that, but I guess I'll hae to wait until the AK-99 matures.

thanks xcrispi, appreciate it. about the sage, i only popped about 3 beans of that and when i did i was unprepared so i did not get to fully see them finish. ive been thinking about starting them up again and seeing how things play out. What is the 3 way cross you have your hands on?

Hey Keeko ,
It's N.Y.C.D / Cottoncandy x S.A.G.E . I got 50-60 from Brad at HempDepot . Here's a pic. of the last one we let go 13 weeks . We cut it down Sunday . :) I had heard S.A.G.E by itself was suposed to be a real nice sativa ? I used to know what the initals stood for but -> :stoned::stoned: .
