Sounds pretty decent. I would love to see Pearl Jam and Oysterhead. I'm already seeing Beastie Boys and R.E.M at Langerado. Bonnaroo sucks though, too many people, every year it gets worse. Too many tools, it gets frattier and frattier every year.

That's not a bad line-up. I'm looking for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs this year, amongst others.

ok for the past few years ive heard about bonaroo and how awesome it is, but no one has ever told me where the fuck they hold it? I'd be interested in going, but where the hell is it?! I swear some of these fests people talk about, where the fuck do they hear about this stuff? it's not posted anywhere Ive seen...

It's held in the fields of Manchester, Tennessee. A rural town in south central TN.

so many of those ended up being wrong its saddening, i was looking at previous years lineups, and was like, "hell yeah!!!!eleven!!!one!!!" But i saw this years and am like, "Cool, B.B. King" not that i dont like bb king, but its a slow year, i guess one of my more anticipated artist is Kanye, i like his work what do you expect. but i plan on going anyway, anyone know their enterance proceedure, i know at projeckt revolution they searched you before you went in.

Yup, disappointing to say the least. I'm hearing rumors Led Zeppelin will be announced as well, according to the associated press.

Can't decide if I'm gonna go or not. The past years, there were several really big names, and then it would trickle down and a lot of the smaller artists were really good. This year, not so much.

It's relatively loose. It takes a couple hours to get in once you're in Manchester to actually get to your campsite, anyways, they really check for glass and weapons. that's about it.

so trying to get a baggie with maybe a 1/4 wouldnt be very tough to do, i heard that people will sometimes just share with you for free, so they get it in somehow, but that is one of my concerns, i obviously dont plan on just having it sitting in the dash, but i have a few secret spots in my car that can hide that kind of stuff.

This year's lineup is weak to say the least. Typical Roo lineup, basically.

Metallica? Cool. :rolleyes: Kayne? Cool. :rolleyes:

I'd much rather go to a smaller festival with better music, personally. One where it isn't balls hot, too.

yeah, it is weak sounding compared to what the previous years lineups were, but this year, like i said before, they bought a large portion of the festival grounds, so it is ensured to be a lasting festival, but i think that i would rather go to a shorter festival with larger bands than a longer festival with crappy ones. And im not big on metallica, and there are less people who like them these days than before, but the last concert i went to was project revolution and that was an all day event, we ended up leaving at 12, and getting back around 2, i would rather have been able to stay the night, but it wasnt that kind of concert.

So is anyone here goin to the Bonnaroo this year? itll be my first time man, I cant wait.

Its the weekend of June 12-15. and those aren't all the bands some more will be added later.... hopefully the mars volta:thumbsup:

i am really excited about bonnaroo this yr...last 2 years i have gone but i have always bought pot there...i really wanna sneak some in this yr so i guess i'm just gonna stick some in my sleeping bag

i plan on going this year, my first time, and i too wanna sneak some in, im thinking up inventive ways of getting it in, im sure i could buy some, but wheres the fun in that, plus there is always quality control, im a person who enjoys finding the solution to problems.
