ok when ever some1 mentions pink floyd there always think of darkside of the moon which is an awesome album but its not there best i personaly think there best album is piper at the gates then saucerfull of secrets. i think the best song writer was syd barrett definatly his lyrics are intense. what do u lot think of pink floyd?

I think Division Bell is underappreciated. It's hard to find a Floyd song I don't like, though.
I Love pinkfloyd . Personally i like Relics. I also like darkside of the moon. I love every cd by them. I also am a fan of Umma Gooma

Have you seen Live @ Pompeii? that dvd is the shit! They play in an empty roman collesuem. echoes is like the main song on it, they play a really good version of echoes

that film was made to trip to seen back in the 70s at the local cinema some friends and i dropped a tab each we still mention it today when we meet up it was a awesome experience,,,allot of floyd music takes on a life of its own when listened to on acid,,,,,,,,piper at the gates of dawn is Barrett at his best unfortunately a casualty of LSD and other non prescribed drugsQuote:

i just downloaded this boxset called "a tree of secrets" and its like 18 cd's with demo's all the stuff off their singles.....LOADS AND LOADS of stuff its pretty damn good.....
im listening to wish you were here right now....i love this album it's soooo good.....if you havent heard it i sugest you listen to it.....its only 5 songs but those songs are some of the best floyd songs ever written imo.
my favorite pink floyd song is probly wish you were here.........sends shivers down my spine every time i listen to it.......which isnt very often cause i like to keep realizing how good a song it is...and now you know :)

A lot of people just like darkside or the wall but if you want to experience the true floyd aura you must listen to their older stuff, like pipers at the gates of dawn and obscured by clouds (which is my 2nd fav album) My fav album although without waters, is division bell, i love that album its so kool to chill when you're stoned and listen to it. Best songs imo are probably echoes, shine on you crazy diamond and marooned. Also the first song from atom heart mother, 10 minutes in the guitar solo is absolutely amazing especially while you're stoned. Gilmour is god! Imo pink floyd = best band ever.

Wish u were here is a great album, prolly my fav of the ones ive heard, in fact every song on that album is a fav of mine.
That fat old sun from atom heart mother is 1 of the few songs i like on that album.
dark side of the moon of course is a great album. Gotta love time, and money, and pretty much everything else on that album.
The wall, yet another great one, cram packed with hits like hey you, and the very relaxing Comfortably numb.
Echoes from meddle is another fav of mine.
Ive only heard a little bit of the first two albums, but i want to hear more.

Pink Floyd is my favorite band of all time! I think their best album was Meddle, myself.
