new grow log ak48

hello all the strain im growing is ak48 apparently its an easy strain so thats why i picked it along with the fact that they are cheap from nirvana my plants are two an half weeks now and are already showing side shoots.they are in big pots that hold around fifty litres of soil theyre under a 600watt hps and i feed them half the recommended dose of playgron start up i have only fed them once and sprayed them with playgron phytamin again half dose i cant figure out how to attach pics at the moment but soon as i find out how to get them out my folder an into a message ill do it any advice welcome so for now:thumbsup:

well this is day 18 and so far so good i think i planted in to richer soil because the leaf is deformed on one of my plants.this is afew plants for yow to see an if the pic has come up then iv cracked the whole attachment thing an more will be posted soon.thanks for replying bon3za i was beginning to think i was all alone on here yur my first reply:thumbsup:

well people i think iv just made a big mistake. iv been watering my plants from the bottom up untill now and just flushed them with distilled water.they have drooped and i dont know how to rectify the prob its like i have over watered them.maybe perlite wasnt a bad idea after all:(i think i may just have to ditch this grow and start again:mad:ill get bak to u all again soon sorry

its bin 6 days since i last posted any pics and what a journey it has bin.To start with the plants slowed right down in growth and i started to worryme for all of about 2 days so i decided to flush them.Bad decision.the plants drooped so bad and i thought i had killed them off. since that little incident i pulled them out of the big white pot they were in with as much care as possible and seperated them into there own 23 cm pots. the4y seem to be thriving at the moment with there own root space so maybe they were killing each other off heres the pics

im not quite sure m8 but id guess from the time the seeds first set of true leavespopped out about day thirty give or take a day or two ill update some more pics in a little while just gonna upload to image shack cheers for the reply PEACE:hippy:

our grows were started virtually around the same exact time! i started mine one Jan. 1st. not doing soil though. there's a thread in the "Grow Log" section "The Daily Grow w/ Bud Fullotrichs", and one in the "Hydroponics" section "First E & F, how's it lookin vets?"

hey bud u got some really nice crops there i hope u dont mind me leaving a reply i just couldnt help myself. u seem to be a lot further ahead in the way of grow knowledge than i am an gaining experience through stinkyattikis a bonus too. i think i recall splifted an stinky on a thread bout white rhino quite some time agothat was just baffling as im just a noob PEACE ill keep an eye on ur thread man it looks like i could learn suttin:rasta:

that's what the forums are here for. when you have questions, 100's of people know the answers to them. stinkyattic has been my guidline basically throughout my grow. i'm going to try to get my cam. and post some knew pics tonight or tomorrow. this has been my first successful grow, and also first hydro grow. hydro seems to be the way to go for me.

ha.Ive got to admit im a bit of a lazy grower i suppose i have 2 drip irrigation systems but i only tried using it once an decided it too much pissin about. if i was gunna do hydro id have to find a system thats easy to maintain and learn a little bit more about nutrient intake.Iused to know quite a lot but iv smoked much since then my memory is like a sieve,i just go by the basics of soil growing thatt i got from greenmans page nice an easy.did i mention that iv just turned the lights down to 12on12off im moving back up to my old estate and iv only got bout 2anahalf months left to finish my grow. do u have any idea what kind of yield i can expect fr4om five females bout 9inches tall,obviously now iv turned the lights down they are gunna stretch maybe twice the size PEACE ill get back lata gotta go to work for now mate:pimp:

i wouldn't set my expectations too high if i were you. i would say you could probably get a couple ounces from all of them since they were started on 12/12 at such a young age. if you were interested in hydro, the ebb & flow seems to be the easiest to manage. only active components are the water and air pump. read up on it, it's quite simple.

OUCH! very sorry to hear that. baby that lone female, take a few cuttings, and somewhere down the line she will treat you VERY WELL! another thing you can do is just keep your best male in there with your female and you should have some quality seeds to start your next grow with after the move.

hey man thanx for the advice.I thought about it but its not worth it, as you know i put them into flower an hairs are popping out of the one left(cuttings are out the question) and i chopped the males the second i noticed the pods(so comtaminating the female with male pollen is out the question aswell).but never mind i got 2 more seeds popped ready to be put under my mh,i just need a place to put them coz me lights on 12/12, dont wanna bud them from seed coz im moving an i wont have nuff tym plus its not beneficial to the plants as they photosynthesize when the light is on hence they wont have enough time to mature in veggie stage an produce quality bud in flower PEACE MAN:hippy:

are you going to be able to transfer them on the move(the new seeedlings)? you can still take clones within the first two weeks of flowering. make sure you cut a whole branch and not just enough of the branch to make a clone. you can do this with little ill effects caused to the plant. even if you can only take one clone, you can make that a mother plants and plant it in soil and take it with you wherever you go. if you do make a mother plant, it will cut down your time on your next crop by a few weeks.

yo i aint got a cam at the mo so ill just have to tell u how the plant is getting on.well its day fifteen of flower and she is growin like stink i took 2 cuttings of the very bottom branches which are in my window at the mo i still havent found a space to set my mh up yet but a mate has got some spare wood so im tinkin bout building a little box.anyway the mother is now in flower an lappin up every bit of fert i can give her

I love that strain. I bought a gram of ak-48 a few weeks back. It was an excellent smoke. Dense dense buds which got me and a few mates completely shitfaced.

i think its copper def but i cant be sure can anyone help me desperate to keep hold of this one its the only one that i have got left out of 5 an over last nite alone its travelled through all the fan leafs an starting to go to the leafs around the buds :(

It looks like Ca and/or Mg. Do you water with tap or R/O water? You probably need to throw a CalMag-type product to increase your supply.

hey there gainesvillegreen i got a load of chemicals from a friend b4 he went to lockdown they are dutch company i think house&garden van de zwaan its an a/b (A) contains nitrogen calcium oxide and specific gravity(B) contains nitrogen,phosphoric acid anhydride,potassium oxide and specific gravity WATEVERTHATIs can i use this to recover my sick plant or do i have to invest in something different :hippy:

What type of water do you mix your nutrients with? Do you get it from the tap? Is it distilled, purchased from a store? Do you have a reverse osmosis filter system in your house? Distilled and RO water remove minerals that are needed by your plants. If you use those types of water, you may need an additional supply of Ca and Mg.

well my water is in an old derip irrigation system distilled so i guess it has got no minerals in it but i thought that was a good thing. so the ferts i have ghot are epsom salts and the ones i mentioned above i was thinkin i had to foliar feed the plaqnt with the E/S is that what i need to do to correct the prob holla bak PEACE :hippy:

Foliar feeding is great for assisting with deficiencies, but not so much with curing them. In addition fo foliar feeding now, you need to use a product like Botanicare's CalMag or Technaflora's MagiCal to add those two into the nutrient solution.

Is there anyway to use tap or well water instead of the distilled? Tap or well water should have the two in it.

Epsom salts is great when diluted and applied to the foliage for Mg, but not Ca.

ok then g well ill have to wait for a while as i get payed on fridayan ill ave to get it off the net the leaves on the top of the plant are a bit yellow so i will foliar spray with some epsom salts for now and keep feeding her her basic food. my mate has a water butt in his garden which has accumilated water over winter so ill ask him to splash me a few bottles to mix my solution up with.the tap- water is kinda white around here so i dont know if its any good the signs have slowed down aswel the leaves are not getting any worse jsut a little bit yellow :hippy:
