Who else has the best conversations when high?
There is nothing I love more when I'm high than having a good, mentally stimulating conversation. John and I always end up talking about politics, current events, and history. Kind of nerdy, but soooo much fun.
But just about anything is fun to bullshit about when your stoned. What do you all like talking about after you light up?
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
I do until my mind finally stalls out. I think too much when I'm stoned; being a Libra, my mind races off into all the possibilities of any theory, situation, or argument. Sometimes it's actually frustrating.
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
I understand completely. Sometimes your mind needs a break from things.
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
I've found that the nice Indica couchlock stone gives me the best mental edge. I may not be able to move, or move fast, but I've got my wits about me now. I find playing poker ripped is a lot easier and more enjoyable for me; I'm able to calculate pot odds, observe and read players, etc. Sativas just make me race nonstop. I think part of it is my heart beat increases and that touch of paranoia forces my thoughts to race.
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
I like to talk about anything except paris hilton and politics. Uusualy end up talkin junk and science
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
Science has been an active topic for John and I. We enjoy watching the Universe shows on the History channel together. Also, on Monday there was a cool show about what would happen if humans dissapeared from the earth. It was pretty damn fascinating.
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
Lately my friends have talked a lot about the possibilities of the year 2012 and how we would prepare for the likely outcomes. Personally, I'm looking for a prime location in the Southwest to create a permanent dwelling that can sustain itself, preferably by a river. A fun question to ponder, what would be your weapon of choice against: a. humans during a crash of civilization -AND- b. against zombies after the atypical bio warfare yadda yadda? (Ilike to cover my bases.)
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
I LOVE zombie stuff so trust me, i've pondered this. For zombies you need a semi automatic gun that is well known. That way bullets are easy to come by. And you would also need a close up weapon like a crow bar.
I think with humans the possibilities are endless. Were soft, squishy and pink. A nice close up gun like a shot gun would be nice and effective.
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
I'm always weary of firearms simply because it becomes mostly useless when/if you run out of ammo. Of course, I'd still go with a nice overunder shot gun and just stock pile about 2 tons of shot. Still, I'd make my primary weapon a bow and my secondary a longsword for most post-apacoplytic scenarios.
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
I agree thats why hand weapons are needed. A bow however wouldn't be effective to a zombie unless you got a clear, hard shot of the head and that may be hard to aim if your in the heat of the moment. Plus arrows may be hard to come by sometimes.

Who else has the best conversations when high?
True say, the best convos are high as hell and philisophical imo.
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
Well, considering my brain works evenly (after I smoke), conversations go very smoothly, especially when I don't have to worry about which leg to lean on, or, which arm to carry the groceries with. And, that constant ringing in my ear, where does it go? It has to be there. Not having to worry about the other person moving, and screwing up my vision, while I'm talking to them, is a big plus.
And, most of all, they don't realize that I've had my brain squashed, before.

reb have you ever read world war Z by Max Brooks (same guy who did the survival guide)... if not you should its one of the most awesome books ive ever read... it's told like an oral history of a zombie holocaust as if it already happened... is actually pretty well written, id reccomend it to all
-
Who else has the best conversations when high?
I'll have to look into that. The "zombie Survival Guide" was written very well and was very, VERY entertaining to me. Thanks Ghosty :)

Who else has the best conversations when high?
It always happens that me and my buddy end up ragin' on how we are made. Like, we aren't even who we are, we're modeled pieces of clay. And those who sculpted us are the people that raised us, and the mega-media conglomerates that control society. As young children we are extremely impressionable and every thing we interact with shapes what we will become. It's like what your taught and what you see from society and your parents ( or whoever raised you ) puts you in a prison cage. As you grow older, the cage doesn't, but you do. So you're trapped in the cage and that's all you know, but once you get older you can move around. You're still stuck in the cage but now you can walk and explore, learn new things and accept new things as true. You can become who you want to be, not as you were conditioned, in a way. Though you are not confined to the cell alone now, that cage still limits you. My mission is to break free from this cage, I don't know if it's entriely possible, but I'm trying damn hard.

Right now, I'm made up of coffee. I know the secret on how to break free of this cage, however. I'm just not overflowing with coffee, yet.

consider this:
with all the information available and whatnot, why do so many people still persist to say marijuana is harmful and has no medicinal qualities ? it's because society and the Federal government has been conditioning you to believe that since the 1930's. The propaganda of then still affects us today, because those being conditioned to believe it was bad in that generation has inheritly passed it down. Many people don't even bother to research the topic, and if they do they'll usually change their mind once they've been informed. My friend's mom thought marijuana was a gateway drug that was extremely harmful and even deadly, and that it had no medicinal effects. After a 30 minute intellectual conversation, after she was informed about the other side of the debate, she now believes its not so bad. You ever experience that feeling of when you try to explain why it should be legalized and why it's beneficial, but you almost feel like you're wrong or lieing ? That's inherited conditioning that's makes you think that - don't.
also think about racism passed down through generations
we are all being conditioned from the second we know life outside the womb, it's like you're not in control of who you want to be.

Who else has the best conversations when high?
Since it cuts down on my anxiety, including social effects of anxiety (similar to stage fright for me), I find that I am much better at holding good conversation. In fact, my friend and I were sitting there one day at my kitchen island puffing some homegrown and having a nice snack and someone commented that this conversation was so clever and witty it should be recorded for posterity. Now, this kitchen island has a removeable and reversible laminate top that sets in. It's just plain white plasticized particleboard... PERFECT for writing on.
So I got a sharpie. Now it has become a tradition that when someone says something very clever whilst stoned, it gets written on the tabletop.
Nice post gocryemokid.

Who else has the best conversations when high?
Me and my friends usually just talk about random stuff like what we've been up to recently, sometimes though we talk about WW3 scenarios like China and Russia vs Usa and Europe and stuff like that and stargazin seein as we often smoke at night, i always look and find it strange how you're looking into the past when you look at a star :)

The best weapons against zombies would be a bow and a knife. Guns are loud, and the ammo cannot be used more than once. Only shoot your arrows at zombies you know, or you think you know, that you can rip the arrow out of. Use the knife when they get close.

I think it's nice to show that stoners actually have a shit load of intelligence. Were discussing wonderful things like philosephy, politics, religion, and all sorts of other intellectual things. Hell, the political section here has some of the most articulate and intelligent people i've ever had the privellege to read.

The other day me and a friend held a conversation via freestyle rap ;). It was really interesting, and fun.

my ideal arsenal would be:
A Kriss .45 automatic Sub-machine gun
An AA-12 Automatic shotgun with two shoulder belts filled with all the many beautiful rounds that can be shot through it (including the FRAG-12 High Explosive Fragmenting Antipersonnel, and High Explosive Armor-piercing)
An armored exoskeloton
Two Gold-plated M1911 A1 .45 Special Issue Semi-automatic pistols with 10 clips full of standard-points and 10 full of hollow-points
An M9A1 9mm Semi-Automatic pistol with silencer
<EDITED--synthetic adrenaline replacement> and <EDITED--powerful analgesic> syringes, tactical first-aid supplies, water purification tablets, and various small gear.
An XM107 .50 Semi-Automatic Long Range Sniper Rifle
A Comanche helicopter
Of course the most important pieces would be a Japanese katana folded hundreds of times, a sharpening stone and oil.
If you think about it: there are places to get ammunition absolutely EVERYWHERE. And if its a post-apocalyptic scenario, then it simply becomes a matter of locating and obtaining said ammo.

and yea, when the person you are talking to is as high as you, the conversations are interesting and deep. depending on the other person it could be about anything from politics to popular culture. but to me, when two people are high there is like another understanding between them. lol like for example, if one subjects starts to get boring, they both notice it.... i don't know. maybe it's just my friends.
and when the other person is NOT high, as long as i don't slow my voice down... that usually leads to a great conversation as well. like when I talk on the phone with a girl im interested in. I can keep a conversation alive and interesting for HOURS!. and she can't tell when i take another hit:rasta: it's great.

I know a hell of a lot of people, and I know a hell of a lot of idiots. All the people that are idiots have been idiots before they smoked, and those other people that aren't idiots, also known as my friends, are no dumber due to smoking. Infact, if anything bud lowered their intution to hold back things to say that may be inspiring or intellectual and to just let it all out, which in a way makes them seem even smarter to me.
