UA / Quick Fix questions

Hello everyone, i have been lurking for about a week or two now because i have a UA coming up for a really good job. I have been a habitual pot smoker for years, smoking at least a few bowls every night. And anytime we dont have, there is always enough resin to get us by. :jointsmile:

Well i've been doing my research and came to the conclusion that my best way to pass the test is with Quick Fix. I havent smoked in 4days and my test is about a week and a half away, so while i was trying to quit and clean myself out, im realizing that i dont have enough time. I have been reading so much conflicting information about this subject that im starting to stress out over it. I weigh about 150lbs @ 6ft and Im really skinny with a very fast metabolism (i cant gain weigh even if i tried ;p). While it may still be an option to naturally clean myself out with exercise and fluids, i would much rather continue smoking and use the Quick Fix. :smokin:

As for the test itself, it's for a union job and i know im going to be tested by Quest in an onsight lab. With results before i leave that day. Since i will be working on site that day, im not sure what time of the day i am going to be tested. So my main concern is how long after warming up the Quick Fix (and securing the heatpack) will it stay in the desired temp range? Im sure there is a place on site (in the lunch area) where i can get to a microwave, but even then there may be up to a 1hr wait before i get to drop the urine. Also im concerned about carrying the bottle in my pocket and if they ask me to empty my pockets, etc. Also with the size of the bottle, would it be noticeable in my pocket or not.


I would also like to know the self life on a box of Quick Fix, and if there is a chance for a bad/old sample. Just incase if i were to buy some for the future, can i hang onto until i needed it.

I continued to Google search late into last night and found that if i just attached the heating pad to the side of the bottle that i wouldnt even need to heat it up with a microwave, it would just take about 1hr to get up to temp. That may be the better route for my situation. My next real concern is how i can conceal the bottle so it doesnt look like there is a buldge in my pocket.

Also has anyone been padded down or asked to pat their pockets down from the drug tester? If anything i will make a holster for the side of my leg or something...haha. I gotta do what it takes to pass this UA.

I just cant believe some Junkie heroin or crack addicts can get away with some fluids and a day or two, yet someone who smoke pot a few times a week could take up to a month. If anything this UA system is making the workforce a worse place by allowing those people in. Most potheads i know are pretty intelligent bookworms or musicians.

I'll do what it takes to fuck the system... and if i can smoke up to my drug testing day and pass with quick fix... then that would be supreme. :rastasmoke:

In my experience If you nuke it for 10 seconds and stuff it behind your nut sack it will stay 94-96 for a couple hours. I would wear 2 pair of tight shorts to keep it in place.
You will normally be asked to remove any jacket and empty your pockets. SO you could have it in a pocket with a heat pad till you get notified and then move it to yuor crotch. If you do that you'll need more heating pads if it takes a while. The Dollar Store in my area has cheap pads that can heat the sample in about 10 minutes. Remember these pads can only be used once,the quickfix can be reheated many times.QF is usually good for atleast 18 months.

You could be a good candidate for getting clean in the allotted time. You would need to buy some test strips to test yourself.

As killerweed said, 10 seconds will bring the bottle up to around 94-100 degrees, which allows you to then stuff it in your crotchal region and keep it near that temp for a few hours.

With the heating pad that is included in the package, you can sustain that temp for even longer, or use the heating pad to heat up the bottle if you have about an hour's worth of time.

I have never been patted down for a drug test for employment, never been watched, and never had any problems using substitution via QuickFix outside of temp problems. If the liquid isnt within the proper temp range, they will make you piss again(which is not what we want, since all our clean liquid is in the cup they have in their hand), or fail you. Ive only had one friend who got failed due to temp, most of them are told to piss again, but thats pretty much the same thing as failure anyways.

Best thing to do is to do some practice runs. You can heat/reheat QF plenty of times without it damaging it at all, so do so. Practice heating it up to proper temp, and practice crotching it, so that you feel comfortable with the entire process. I usually use a pair of whitey-tighties and then a pair of boxers overtop, works great for me.

Once you feel you have the entire system down, including removing the bottle, and putting the bottle back in without making any suspicious noises, you should be all set. The only thing you will not have practiced is attaching the heating pad to the bottle, but that one really doesnt need much practice.

Everyone agrees that Quick Fix can be the best way to go! My question is that I read on the internet some labs can detect fake urine. Is that possible? Or is Quick Fix one of top quality?

That is my only concern. I could get a friend's but it seems messier and Quick Fix is just so affordable and sounds to easy...

QuickFix is on version 4.0 iirc, and the reason that is, is because the other versions had been able to be detected by labs. And they offered anyone who had the 3.0 the ability to exchange it for a bottle of 4.0 for free.

The current version of QuickFix is not detectable, it is rather cheap, and is a wonderful option for those interested in a surefire way to substitute.

the quick fix is completely undetectable..thats why they come out with new versions of it every couple of years..they keep up with the labs. Ive never heard of the Fix being detected. They have more information on their website too urineluck.com It will tell you what formulas are current .
As far as if they check before you go in..they cant check you or watch you for an employment test. You should be good.

As long as the QF batch is not more than 18-24 months old, or it hadnt been exposed to direct sunlight, it will not be flagged as a "non-human" sample.

Look on the instructions sheet inside the box. On top of the sheet is a batch code, which translates the date of manufacture. The QF shelf life begins on the manufacture date (not the date of purchase).
As an example: F1B08 = Jan 2008

If you still have doubts about your QF batch, you can always order a few test strips and test the batch to ensure that the creatinine, pH, and specific gravity are all within acceptable levels.

These strips can be found by doing a search for drug adulteration test kits on google.com.

At the collection center, the collector may have you remove jackets and have you empty your pockets. The collectors cannot frisk or otherwise touch you in any manner. The only exception to this is if the test is for court-ordered probation in which the person has relinquished all the rights normally enjoyed by persons taking a drug test for employment.

Im with burnt toast on this one. The only thing is they dont go by batch number, but by formula number, which the current is 4.0 i think. Check on the website, it states it there

I've used, tested, (and/or exchanged) many batches of the Quick Fix since 2002. Theres a formula number and a batch number.

The formula number is printed on the bottom flap of the box, the batch number is printed on the instructions sheet located inside the box. As I already stated, the batch number is used to determine when that particular batch was manufactured. The 18-24 month shelf life begins on that date of manufacture. You do not go by the formula number. Formula 4.0 has been in existence since late 2003.

Well....I'm glad to say that I went with the sub method but instead of QF used my friends clean pee and everything went great! They took the sample and it was within the temp range and it was great! I almost ruined everything by flushing the toilet a little early, but the medical tech was cool and said not to worry. Maybe because I ran out of the bathroom like a bat out of hell..."Sorry! Sorry! Just habit":D haha... Just takes a little practice and everything should go smoothly! DON'T FLUSH THE TOILET! :rasta: Now.... to cheif one up...

Issues, issues - o, you know you're old when dealing with piss tests consists of 'quit for crips sakes.'

my QF4.0 recently arrived along with 3x THC test strips that i got off ebay for under $2 a piece w/shipping. I have my test Wednesday afternoon (a time which i am unsure of), so im not sure if i should heat the QF in the microwave before i go to work and keep the heating pad on it all day... or try to buy an hour where i can get the QF up to temp.

Exactly what is the temperature needed to successfully pass? of where is the best happy medium so i can buy the most amount of time or have the best chance of success. Also i just read a post here regarding a failure because it was too hot? So i should make sure to get it in the range before even entering to drop? I havent smoked in about a week, and even the week prior i only smoked like 5bowls over a 3 day period. I going to use the test strips to see where i land, but im nervous that even if the test strips come up negative, that if i were to use my piss that i would fail using their test.

So even if i test negative should i still use the QF4.0? My room mate has been toking right next to me and im holding back from not toking. Just to see if i could get clean in like a 10day period.

also im curious on the test strings i bought, if i test myself tonight using the strips is there anyway i can figure the thc levels by how fast the line shows up (if any) or by the color of the line?

hey again everyone.. just used a test strip out of curiousity and well my piss was mainly water (which is what i have been drinking the past few hours... had alot of pizza/soda around lunch), it had a slight yellow tint to it.

he is comparing his to his wifes... well i got a faint line but its like 1/3 of what his line looks like... the right side of the line isnt there but i can see alittle pink on the left side of where the line should be. im pretty sure this is a fail, and im far from the line his wife got. so im thinking of just toking tonight and rolling with my hopes on the QF4.0. im pretty confident in the QF after seeing the bottle top and all, and plan on wearing two pairs of tight MJ briefs. my only concern is tempature, so any tips on that would be appreciated. anyways thought u keep everyone updated, i will probally have to piss wednesday/thursday so i will be sure to let everyone knows how the sub goes.

Maybe you can nuke it at lunchtime? Its perfect if its 95 to 97 degrees but anything from 90 to 100 is a pass.
I would still test yourself to see how long it takes you to get clean.Its good to know just in case subbing isn't an option. I would you own urine if your 100% positive it will pass but if you have any doubt use the QF.
On the test strips if you can see a faint line its a pass. The thc line will be a lot fainter than the control line.Those look like the same strips I buy.
If you have a dollar store in the area they carry some heating pads that work faster than the one that comes with the QF. I can get my bottle from room temp to 96 degrees an about 10 minutes. The QF one is a lot slower. I would experiment with your bottle,nuke it put it in your crotch and see how long it stays at temp. Then you should be able to figure out the timing if you need the heat pad.

my only last concern is if the temperature likes to fluctuate or does it balance out?

If you keep it between your legs it slowly cools down thats why its important to practice with it.

my only last, last concern is if its easy to overheat the sample. right now i'm already at 98 and its been less than 1hr. i just hope the temp stat is accurate and i can balance out the temp with cradling it next to my penis...

the slide spout top on the bottle is great... easily can one hand the bottle and 1hand the cup..

could be tomorrow or later this week.. gonna keep the stuff in my coat until its time and pop on the heater pack....

im toked right now and it feels great.. i looking forward to beating the system, no fear ;p

It easy while nuking it to get it over temp. I like to use a standard digital thermometer to double check the temp.

Just a heads up...

Do not, I repeat, do not use the spout when you go to move the sample to the cup, it will make squeaky air sucking noises, which is a dead giveaway if someone is listening. Just unscrew the cap off the bottle, and pour the sample directly into the cup.

havent been tested yet.... just used an Aimscreen test strip, dipped it into the QF4.0 bottle and the test came up positive. I didnt heat the urine up but it doesnt say that it matters on the instuction, i also retested myself after only toking like twice in the past 2weeks and i came back with a faint negative line.

Any reason why QF made the strip positive? Does QF typically pass strip tests?

Are you sure you're reading the strip correctly?

ya i read it correctly... the test strip from the QF had no line, maybe because i dipped the test strip at an angle? And as for my piss, the strip had a nice color line... half the darkness of the control line.. had a salad w/ balsamic vin dressing so not sure if that could have fucked up the test. but my piss wasnt really diluted, had a decent color to it.

i just dont want to risk the job by using QF...because of temp, no smell, or the color. looks like i will be getting a few more strips for practice.

QF does pass the strip test and I never use it without testing it. In the last two years I have tested negative 3 times at home and at a drug test both warm and cold.

You made me curious so I tested my QF. It came up with same faint negative thc line like when I test my own urine.Did you maybe dip it too far into the QF?
If your showing negative on your own urine I would go with that.

I have been able to place the sample in my armpit and it will stay at temp for the test. I went from cold out of the fridge to 94 degree in about 30 minutes. It is easily accessible and, no, I have not heard of being patted down beforehand. Except while I was in prison. You go in naked there. Bastards!:mad:

im just worried because if i did do the test incorrectly, say by putting the strip too far down where the piss is touching the plastic.. then would the test come back invalid? the control line showed up almost immediately and i still kept the strip submerged for about 15-20secs (and the control line showed up after 5seconds). Now if i have the strip submerged for too long is that a reason why i wouldnt get a line to show up (which is a postive result)?

im out of test strips and i dont have the cash to pay $15 for 1x at CVS, (and not enough time to ebay the cheap ones) so i guess i am just going to asprin it out and drink alittle water... hopefully the strip isnt lieing and i am negative like the strip showed.

I think the QF test result was just a fluke. If you have checked yourself a couple times and you've tested clean I would just use your own urine. I would still do the dillution sticky. Its just good insurance.
On pouring the QF,I always just unscrew the top off.You really don't make any sound peeing in a plastic cup.

passed my test at like 7am this morning. was notified yesterday that i would have to piss this morning at 7ish. my quick fix was froze in my car and i took it out the night before. applied the handwarmer that comes with it (yet i had very many in my pocket and backups, but the one they supply is pretty efficent). nuked it in the mico for like 10 secs got it to 100degrees and stashed it along side my penis. wore some tight withies and mj briefs...

by the time i dumped it into the container from the bottle and waited a few seconds it was at the 98 degree mark...

and i passed!
