What can I do with this male !

Hi,

I just started the flowering cycle on 28th of dec/06 with 250w HPS. So far I have discovered this one male. I think its a beautiful plant and I don't really want to kill it. I have moved it to my friends house where its far away from the females. What can I do with this guy. He is getting light as 12/12 4 CFL 23w bulbs. I don't have anymore HPS bulbs and cant get any here in Bulgaria.

Is it possible to smoke him?
Will there be any THC?

If you leave it at a buddy's house, your buddy is now banned from your house. All it takes is one pollen grain. If he says it far enough away in the yard and he just bathed, then its up to you, but his car seat may be carrying that one, and the wind does blow.

I like to put them in a bag, and leave them someplace funny, like someplace where teens hang out, crowds of kids gather thinking jackPOT. One of them will take it home, thinking its a good plant.
Or plant it at the mall, where there is a planter box. Make sure its a mall you don't go to, to minimize pollen contamination.

If its a really nice plant, then take a pic, frame it, leave it on your bed stand, then burn the plant fool!

Oh I am pretty sure some pollen is already released. There is always an early bloomer.

Not enough THC to get high, and you can smoke almost anything.

thanks for the info......i think i'll do that....someone told me that i can make seeds by carefully taking some pollen and putting it at the base of my female plant on one hair???

is it an option?

One grain of pollen, on one pistol (hair) will get you one seed. Two grains of pollen on one pistol will get you one seed, also.
I use a q-tip (with most of the fuzzy stuff removed) or a small, horsehair brush to carefully apply pollen to the pistols on my lower branches. (no sneezes)
Apply pollen to enough of the pistols to make plenty of seeds for your next few grows. Let seeds mature on the plant long enough to become viable. I allow at least 4-6 weeks. (or so)
If plant is ripe before the seeds are mature, you can chop the un-pollinated branches off, and let the seeds keep going.

Wow! That's like lab-clean!
I'm not afraid of a seed here and there. The pollen that comes in on clothing is not enough to ruin a crop.
I'd be far more worried about friends bringing in BUGS on their clothes... just a mite or two can start a new community of evil mites. Yuck.
If you choose to make seeds, the q-tip method is a good one. Once you have pollinated, you can then kill the male.
Misting the male a couple times a day with water will keep stray pollen down until you decide what to do with him.

Not really worht the trouble based on low (to the point of near uselessness) THC and other compounds.

SeaOGreenies- Why are you planting male plants all over town?? What if there is a med grower downwind....... screw their whole crop up. Please don't anybody listen to this guy, last thing we need is cannibis pollen flying everywhere. Why don't you plant a tree if you have to plant something in public? drgreen29- Is it hard to get seeds/clones in Bulgaria? If so, maybe hold off on growing some bud and do a small seed crop.... get lot of seeds for yourself and friends. Good luck!

It was amazingly difficult to get a hold of some seeds here. Last year I grew outdoors at that time someone brought in some seeds and that dude made some seeds and kept them.

I am planning on making seeds, i got two diff strains going..white widow and purple power.

If its a good fast growing male I would grow it out to get the pollen, bag it and pollinate some of your girl for future seeds and a new hybrid plant or throw it away.
