any REAL info about your stuff would also be great.....soil, where did these plants come from, what kind of ferts, room temps, room humidity and most of all...what is the ph of your water and your soil.
First week of veg. - need some expert advice
soil=fox farm
these are clones from a dispensary in la
have not used any ferts yet.
i do not have a room thermometer or humidity gauge of any sort.
The tent is exhausted very well and i do not believe heat is my problem.
i feel that once i've transplanted these into the fox farm soil, the nutrients in the soil could be a sudden harsh-ness for the plants and is the cause of all the yellowing.
In order to test ph of the water and soil what do you use hound? recommend?
Also a recommendation as to a temp/humidity gauge and what is ideal for humidity?
hound keep it up. cali ftw.

Clones....agggg....I'm clone clueless i'm afraid. You can go with a ph meter or in a pinch you can use a liquid ph tester from a pet store or hydro store.....the liquids are very cheap and will work fine for a soil user.
My first thought on looking at your MANY :D photos was a ph issue. The water you use should be a ph of 6.2-6.8 and so should your soil runoff (after you water what drains out...check ph). The thing with clones is that I've read that sometimes they do turn yellow during the transition phase so can't really say about your kids whether its a problem or normal. Where the heck is Stinky when you need her? Fox Farms is good soil and you say your other conditions are good. Hopefully a clone soul will pop in and offer some info.
Ideal humidity is in the 30's imo....don't go above 45%. I DON'T think humidity is your problems here however. :)
Sorry I'm not more help. :(

Revised: The Complete Guide To Sick Plants,pH and Pest Troubles - PlanetGanja.com
this link has very good soil info....don't really know about clones.
How are they doing generally? Are they growing or just sort of remaining the same?
First week of veg. - need some expert advice
all seem to be making quite a bit of noticable growth, the sensi star is quite small though.

Wehave....you really need someone who knows about clones and that is so not me. If they ARE Growing that sounds good....are they putting out new shoots as well?

Eh, they look a little N starved an you have some micro defs going on, but that has a lot do with their not being able to eat during the rooting process. Once they get their feet dug in, they should be fine.
See how they look in a couple of days- If they're not getting a lot worse, and they're growing, I think yer fine.

micro defs? also, to account for the Nitrogen deficiency, do you recommend me nuting? this is now about a week after transplant.

Nah, if the pH is good the FoxFarms fine- unless it's the Light Warrior or the starter mix, but those're kinda unusual.

what do the pro's reccomend as a ph tester? and also what to use as a balancer for my water in order to ph balance it. THANKS ALL!!!
also just to clarify, during veg, should i be giving the plants ANY darkness at all? I have only been running 24/0. that right?

before nitrogen, think calcium and magnesium. if well rooted, then nitrogen study.
nitrogen + clones = not ideal.
rec 18/6 veg, 12/12 bloom. jury still out on 24/7.
i don't own stock in it, or sell it, but a product called MagiCal is worth checking into.
excellent for bonsai, too.

Just use fox farm neuts, you can use them soil or hydro, easy to use, comes with a list of when what how etc. Also charts for exact grow times.

Cloning 101
When a cutting is taken for a clone, it obviously has no roots, thusly no way of taking in nutrients. The cutting needs nutrition so it starts using nutrients stored in its leaves. By the time the cutting has roots, many of the leaves will be very yellow because the cutting has sucked all the life from them. These leaves will never recover. Some of the leaves that are yellowed to a lesser degree may recover. It is the new growth that you are interested in making sure remains healthy. Understand this principle and you will be much better prepared to deal with your young clones.
If you put the clones in smaller pots/cups for their first couple of weeks, it is easier to manage their root environment and get the plant over the stress of cloning and turn it into a thriving plant.

Adding a pix as an attachment works great. Just click the little paperclip at the top of the message controls when creating a new post, or responding to a post. You should be able to figure it out from there.

I have very seldom and it's been a long time since I've lost any.Clones. PharmaCan,advised you as to how a clone survives. I am a true believer in superthrive. If you have used no nutes as of yet. I would water them with superthrive and even mix with your nute everytime you water. If they have taken root then they need to be fed with a low dose high nitrogen fert.Really up to you which product you use. They do have a chance to thrive!
