does ganja make you sleep?

i smoke before i sleep every night
sometimes it works most of the time it doesnt
so first i thought the bud i was getting was just too shit
but i got some cheese from a mate that grows it
and that still didnt work all the time
maybe i wasnt smoking enough bcause i smoked alot last night
and i slept for like 14 hours :D but i cant aford to smoke that much every night so i was just wondering about anyone else experiances with smoking to sleep also any good strains for sleep would be good as i dont get alot of it theese days :(

It doesn't make me sleep at all. Just the opposite. It's like each toke is a tiny hit of acid, sending me tripping harder. However, after a few hours of not smoking, it catches up with me and I can get tired enough to sleep.

If I lay down high,sometimes I become drowsy.

Any pot makes me want to sleep . actually i cant be bothered doing much when im stoned except talk shit and get munchies. but i always lie down after a toke so i dont fall down first lol

depends on the weed for me... not so much whether its indica or sativa... just differs between the type of weed. lack of words? :stoned:

thats so weird , yes if i blaze and try to go to sleep i can fall asleep very quickly, usually i get about 3 hours when i dont burn

Exactly what i do. After i nice smoke session i like to chill. so i usually get sleepy. and i usually have to go to sleep cause im too blazeed to walk.

It's not that it makes me sleep...it makes me sleep better, along with wake-up better.

especially when you mix with tobacco, you get faster stoned so you want to sleep. It's the best aid for people with sleeping problems

Smoke two joints in the morning, smoke two joints at night.

so if i smoke say an hour before i wana go to sleep i should sleep

Depending on strain, yes. I use cannabis to help with my insomnia and it's wonderful.

I dont think it puts me to sleep, it just helps me relax more and then i can sleep better.. I usally smoke a few j's and then chill for a while before i go to bed..

If you only smoke once, to sleep, I'd think you should give it a couple of hours, before bed, to let your body return to normal.

It helps me to get to sleep quicker, but theres not much of a differnce to be honest. Even with the pure indicas i love, but thats probably because i graft at work while high on almost always pure indica or indica dominant strains.

yes, it makes me sleep much easier. Usually one of my favorite times to smoke is at night so i know that night I will sleep wonderful.

It's just the different between the strains like indica and sativa. an indica strain makes you tired and a sativa strain does the exact opposite like caffine.

High sleep is the best kind of sleep in the world. I always have really fucked up dreams if I go to bed when I'm still high. It's kinda cool.

Yeah, it makes me sleepy. But I love it. And I love just listening to music after toking and then you drowze off. Yeah, when you wake up you feel like ASS. But then you just smoke another bowl and you're good. Rofl. xD

hell yes weed m akes me sleep. it has gotten so bad like i can't even smoke any more without having a reason to stay awake otherwise i'm out within the hour. have a good one you./....people

I notice insomnia rearing it's ugly head when I lay down without weed in my brain; it's like pot has this magical way of letting me relax without feeling guilty that I've been asleep for the past two days and I'm a completely wasted flesh-pile. Call it euphemistic labeling but when the end comes...I won't be suffering from a lack of energy. Every hour I waste in the dreamland is not in vain.

I always fall asleep after toking up. Or I fall asleep for short periods and wake up for short periods. Either way, it makes me sleepy for some reason.

I don't get tired at all its weird because my cousin just passes out while me and his friends just sit there watching tv (scooby doo and perfect hair forever) :jointsmile:

the more u smoke the harder ull pass out me i love ripping my bong be4 bed nothing like nice dreams at night but if i smoke a shit load then i just crash and wake up stoned lol
