How's she look ?

Just wanted to throw this out there and see what you guys think.Its my first grow and i started with bag seed and had some troubles in the begining with nutes and soil and such but got those problems figured out, and grew 5 healthy plants. Unfortuately 4 out of the 5 were male so they got axed. So all i have left to nuture is this tall lanky yet sexy bitch, i think she is doing alright myself.She is at the end of the 3 rd week in flower, under 6 - 4ft. fluro's, 1 - 29watt cfl, and 1 - 48watt cfl, good ventilation in a small but tall closet, she was fed Grotek's micro, grow, and Alaska morbloom earlier on and she now gets just Alaska Morbloom( 0-10-10) a little fish fert, and some mollasses.What you guys think ? oh and thats my cat on guard outside the closet, it's her favorite spot :)

Nice sativa! You should have taken some cutting from the gurl before you flowered.That way you would have as many plants,FEMALE plants you wanted.

i am really regreting not taking any cuttings but i am really new at this and just wanted to have some success, i was so wrapped up in the beggining just keeping them alive, anyways is it too late you think or could it still be done? what about reveg after it is done flowering, is that possible?

I always thought my camera took crappy pictures for being such an expensive digital camera but it was me that didn't have it on the right setting, anyways here are some way better pics of her

Yeah! You can reveg. Just gotta leave some of the buds on the plant for it to have something to keep it alive.It's gonna get way taller, too......

You can take one or 2 of those smaller buds in the pic. Root it.24 hour flo light 24/7 on.I had a problem with my camera setting too.

Its looking very healthy. Is that wire I see holding a couple branches up? Use some yarn or something soft. With a fan going that wire will wear right into the plant.

yeah it is fishing line, i heard that was a good idea, but you make a really good point, that probably will happen, thanx alot, i will get some yarn on there, that shouldn't wear through like the fishing line cause it's thicker.

Well i risked it and went ahead and cut 6 clones off of her today and got them in some peat pellets and in a covered tray under 2 4ft. fluoros, i hope i can keep at the least one of the clones to keep this strain going cause it seems as if it has a fairly quick flowering time, anyways wish me luck !

It's a sativa. It's gonna be 12 weeks or more for her to finish.If your intentions are to keep this strain going,then you did the right thing,by taking the cuttings.Good going...

pokherking, my camera takes blurry pics too. I dont kno anything about digital cameras and just bought a samsung... am i missing something here??? what settign takes clear pictures up close??

Hey Gagrown, u think 12 more weeks hey ? Wow thats like a long time, it should have huge buds by then, i can't wait! Anyways i hope she handles me taking those cuttings alright, well if she does it's a good thing i have like 9 ft. of vertical space for her to grow.I think i put alot of stretch on her in the begining but oh well.I am gonna put some pics up of my cuttings, if you could , tell me how they look and if i did things somewhat right, thanx alot and these pics are about12 hours after they were cut.


Cwesto.... i am using a 4.0 megapixel pentax camera which is a few years old, i don't know the setting,i was just pushing buttons and taking pictures and each picture i would take i would upload and check it's quality....yeah very time consuming ! Anyways there were buttons on the back of the camera which said "MF" and then it had a little picture thing of a mountain, my guess meaning for outdoors, and then a button which made a little picture of a flower show up on the screen, i'm guessing that this setting was designed for taking pictures of flowers, anyways thats what i set it on (the one with the little picture of the flower) and she took great pictures, and i didn't zoom it in, i just got the camera about 6-9 inches away from the plant or bud i was capturing. I hope this helps, i love to see other peoples good pictures.

No. Not 12 more. 12 total week in flower from start of flowering to finishing flowering.Looks like you took the cuttings from the woody part of the plant.They will take root.It's just gonna be a bit longer than ussual.I like to take mine from the older limbs and then take the tender 2 or the nodes.Good job,though!:thumbsup: Here are some pics of the cuttings I'll be taking in the A.M. If I don't have a HANGOVER! Anyway here they are.

Well i wish you luck in the morning with taking those cuttings, i wasn't as lucky seeing as my plant is so skinny, she didn't really fill out with alot of shoots so i had limited options on where to cut and i didn't want to take anything from too high cause they were already starting to grow decent buds, so yeah kinda sucks but i hope they will root. Oh and i just keep the dome moist with a sprayer right? i don't put any water in the bottom of the tray ? they have been good so far, kinda humid and moist feeling inside the tray and temps good.

When the cuttings root and they veg a week,pinch all the bud sites off.You double the bud sites,when they grow back. Take cuttings and repeat the process. Keep fresh mama plant.Don't keep cloning from clones.You follow me?I'm high!!!!! No water in the tray. Just freshen the air every 24 hours.Or cut slits in the dome.

you might wanna flush your plants, they look over-fertilized, you can tell by the dark green tint and slight slumping of leaves

Pokherking - next time you you want to clone, get some "Rapid Rooters" from a hydro store. They're a lot better than those peat pellets.

Yeah pharm i will have to pick some of those up for sure, thanx, didn't know what was best and i got these peat pellets in a kit with the dome and such but for sure i will try the rapid rooters next, much appreciated !

Well here is an update, i was gonna see what some of you guys say about the way my clones look, do they appear normal ? Any suggestions ? I am almost positive that one of the 6 clones has quite a bit of new growth on it, as i refered back to one of my pictures from when i first cut them but the old picture was kinda crappy so im not positive.And the other pics are of the momma plant and she is in the middle of the 4th week of flowering.....How's she look now, i think i may have stunted her a bit by cutting the clones off her in flower so late and from putting her into a larger pot, i also am planning to replace the fishing line with yarn so it doesn't wear through her stem but it has been no problem yet.

2nd- All 6 clones in tray
3rd- leaf damge i beleive on another clone
4th-5th- Momma plant (4 1/2 weeks in flower)

oh and i almost forgot to mention that i constructed a little homemade co2 contraption.It's a yeast sugar water mixture creating co2 and dispersing it into my grow room via my intake tube, not quite sure yet if it's gonna work but i shall let you all know

Pokherking - While the cutting has no roots, it needs to get nutrition from somewhere so it "eats" itself. That is the "damage" you see in the clone's leaves and it is perfectly natural. Once your clones have roots and are growing again, you can trim off the yellow leaves left over from cloning.

well, here she is in the middle of her 4th week in flower, i think she has just gotten over the transplant and me taking the cuttings late and she is growing again, last night she got alaska morbloom and some mollases with a little bit of growteks micro.Does this look about like what a sativa should be at this stage ? As for the cuttings i took off her last week, there is still no sign of roots and i cant tell if their gonna make it, any suggestions/ideas, some of the leaves are getting purple on them on the tips, you can kinda see in the pics.I removed some of the completely dead leaf matter off of them but have never took cuttings b4 so i don't know what they should look like, oh and the purple, if you are wondering they don't reach any cold temps. at all and the light is on 24/7

If your cuttings are going to die, they usually just kinda collapse - sorta the same effect you would get if you left a fresh piece of lettuce out on the counter. Right now, the leaves are turning yellow because the cutting has no roots, thus no way to take in nutrients, so it is feeding off itself, thereby causing the leaves to yellow. What you are hoping for here is that roots will begin to grow before the plant completely cannibalizes itself.

I've never tried using peat pellets before, so I don't know what to tell you to expect. From everything I have read, peat pellets suck big time. However, your cuttings look normal for this stage of the process, so hopefully they will root successfully. Roots take 5 - 14 days to appear, just depends. Misting the inside of the dome and opening the dome a couple of times each day are about all you can do at this point. Go ahead and cut off those leaves that are obviously completely dead. It will help to keep rot out of your environment.

when rejuv past flowering, hormones get all outta whack, be patient.

mother is preferred, but clones can be cut many generations deep.

it's them roots that most important! the green stuff on top will follow healthy root growth.

Sweet i found a fat root coming out of one of my crappy peat pellet,in flower cuttings, and planted it.Today i found another one with a fat root coming out and planted it as well.I will now grow these until my flower room is done.Momma is doing good and on day 35 of flower, aaparently she might go for 12 weeks total so we will see if i need another 6 weeks.The way she looks now i can't wait to see her after 4-6 weeks or so, the buds should double right? Anyways lets just hope the little bit of green left on these clones will not die off and they will grow.I'll add some pics

It's now in the middle of the 6th week of flowering for her and the cuttings i took a couple have gotten roots and i have transplanted 2 of them already and plan to do 2 more transplants tonight, the one i already trans. is lookin really good but the other not so well, probably cause i took it from the "woody" part of the stem, anyways here are some pics, i think
