:thumbsup:what's the best way about going rolling a double paper joint? i tried to do it last night and i DID do it... but it was rather difficult to pull off.... i'm sure there's gotta be an easier way, especially seeing as i'm far from a noob when it comes to rolling... i can twist up a near perfect joint in about 15-20 seconds.... but when you add that second paper the dynamics of the whole thing change drasticly.... so i need some advice from those of us who are good at rolling and have perfected this specific technique :stoned:
if it helps anything my rolling posture is i cradle the paper with my pinky's and my ring fingers... i use the balls of my thumbs to help cradle it but i work the paper with the tips of my thumbs and my pointer fingers...(that's why the dynamics of rolling a two paper joint change... cuz my fingers can't support the whole thing)
and note: see childrens even professionals need advice from time to time :) there no noobs we're always learning

Take into account that you have to draw air across a longer distance so you almost want the joint to be a little looser during the first half then the last half can be a little tighter. Get a good form on the joint then if you have to "back it up" like a typewriter (I wonder how many people have actually used a typerwriter and had to reverse feed the paper back out). You know you roll it up and get the good cylindrical shape on the pot, go back down with the paper and if you have to, slightly jab at the pot near the fire end to break it back up slightly, then roll that half up a little more tightly. Tends to make the joint look a little unsymmetrical but it hits better.
That explanation was if you are rolling two papers left to right (which is what it sounded like) and not top and bottom.

so lets assume we're rolling a cone shape (i always roll cones for lareger rolling jobs) the smaller the diameter the titghter the the weeed you want...and the very end, the end you'll spark up, you're gonna want the weed just tight enough to stay in place,.... but still pretty loose.... right?

Well if you want to waste an extra paper, you can always just tear off the gum strip, then use half of it to seal the bottoms of the two papers together, and the other half to seal the edge of one paper to the inside of the other. If you roll so that the lighted end is to the left, and the tokin end is to the right, then I would suggest putting the left paper on top of the right paper for best suction. So in other words, you would lick a portion of the right paper then stick the left on top.
I roll more of these kinds of joints(in cone fashion as well) than I roll blunts, I love em.
Also, if you are rolling a big enough joint, dont be afraid to just roll a shitty double-wide, then roll on another paper or two to tighten it up. If your technique is good enough it can be the best j youve ever smoked.
P.S. FBR, dont feel bad, I started out on a typewriter. Man those liquid correction strips were such a pain in the ass lol.

Bambu rolling papers make a 100 length paper that will hold well over a gram of weed easily.
I do not roll joints anymore because they waste so much weed but there was a time when I was the joint master.

Don't we all feel that ways sometimes? Rolled a double of trainwreck last night... we rarely get it in FL and I was so excited I bought a q just to say I did. It was nice sitting with the roomies and passin' it around, it was like old times... haha.

Just like riding a bike....you'll never forget.
Anybody looking to roll a massive joint should get some King Randy's papers. Frickin' HUGE with a nice wire for the roach. Make sure you got plenty of weed because this paper will bite into the stash for sure.
Have a good one!

I find the easiest way to roll a two paper joint is to put one paper in front of you on a stable surface as if you were going to roll a regular joint, take the second paper and turn it perpendicular to the other, lick the glue and stick the glue of the perpendicular paper to the left end of the first paper. Then you can do the same a second time to extend the length further, this allows the papers to be secure and still allow extra length. I've tried to lick papers together, both lengthwise and they always come apart. So once you have the two or more perpendicular papers stuck to the original paper, fold the whole setup down the middle following the fold of the first paper. This allows the bud to collect nicely in the fold allowing an easier and cleaner roll. Then trim the excess off the top of the perpendicular paper(s). Now you have a double or triple length paper, stuck together nicely with the glue of the perpendicular paper. Use the first paper to guide your rolling, then continue down the other papers and seal off the end where you would put the filter and allow the glue along the first paper to stick. Get the other papers nice and wet and then finish off your Jay. It may be harder to allow the unglued papers to stick, that's why I always twist the end of my joints and then allow for a few minutes of drying to ensure closure.

I usually go with Grazi's technique.
