Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
Anybody ever heard of Supernatural brands. It's what I came home with when the hydro store guy recommended it for Nitrogen.
After reading their literature, they seem pretty cool. I'm thinking of getting some of their bud nutes as well.
They are not organic, so no chance of clogging spray heads. Fuck organics - I don't care. If I was so concerned about that little drop in the bucket difference, I wouldn't be voluntarily putting smoke into my lungs.

Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
I don't know anything about the product quality, but would avoid the Bloom Aqua, at least to use as a bloom fert. Too much nitrogen for flowering the ladies.
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
I am using them right now and I am pleased so far.
I especially like that it is a one part product.
I am also trying some budblaster by supernatural too.
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
Creesab, have you used the aqua bloom (their main bloom nute)? Like Rusty says, I noticed that their bloom does have quite a large ratio of Nitrogen. I'm wondering how bad this is. I was thinking maybe it would help cut down on yellowing leaves in flowering, so that there would be some good foliage in case I wanted to reveg.
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
O-
well, to be honest I am not really sure if I am able to give you a good repot on the bloom... yet. its getting cold around here (oregon) and I am strugggling to keep my garage garden happy and healthy and WARM. I have been really pleased with the veg aqua stuff but I need to do a little better with my flowering - I am going to buy an aquarium heater this weekend and hook up a better rez. I promise to tell you what I experience as I get this more under control.
as a side note I have been using the hot shot no-pest things and they work great - I am pretty sure I did that from one of your posts - so thanks!!!
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
You're welcome on the pest strips, and thank you for the promise of additional info in the future. Are you using the gro aqua by itself, no additives or anything? I am mixing it with a couple other things, and so far it seems to be doing great, but it's just been a couple days. I am thinking of cutting out all other nutrients and seeing how they do.
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
yeah I am doing bloom only with a little of the bud blaster ever so lightly sprinkled on top.... once I get the heat up it should go well. I like it because its simple.... one nute and good water. we shall see.........
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
Opie ... update
ok ... so I would say that I am still getting some yellowing leaves but not as much as I am generally used to. I am still weeks away from harvest but its looking pretty good.
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
Cool. Good news for me since I bought some Bloom Aqua today. I'm switching to all non organic nutes. The guy in the hydro store said he uses it and its great stuff. It always helps to hear stuff like that about things you're buying. I was thinking since it has so much N, maybe it would stop, or at least reduce leaves yellowing in budding. You said that you were still getting some yellowing leaves but not as much as you normally do. Does this mean you tried this nute because of the yellowing thing, or at least was it one of the reasons you tried it?
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
to be honest, the reason I am using it is simplicity and the guy at northern lights & garden said people really like it and it is very popular. It is kind of expensive and I have heard it goes stale fast. Makes me a little nervous that it is wrapped in multiple bags in its jar - but I just buy the small amounts and change nutes often. I really like the one part mix. I am lazy huh?
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
I don't think you are lazy, I think that's the way to do it if we can find a good one part mix. I think it's best to try and keep everything as simple as possible. I'm still going to use the 3 part Fox Farm bloom enhancer series (Beastie Blooms, etc.), but I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be dumping out several gallons of Fox Farm nutrients within a few days. What a waste. Oh well, change is inevitable. Lead, follow, or get out of the way. Today they get their first taste of the new stuff (of the bloom ferts that is). I hope they like it.
I'm thinking that I will buy the biggest size next time, if I choose to keep using Supernatural. I'm guessed that the shelf life is much longer than the liquid organic stuff. It should be about the same price overall that way, or even less expensive for those that buy the top of the line stuff. But you're saying you were told it goes bad quickly? May I ask where you got that info? Does anyone for sure know the shelf life of soluble powder nutes (or even for not sure)? I know organic liquid nutes last about a year, maybe 2 if you keep them cold and dark. It seems logical to me that since there is no liquid in the jar (hopefully) that it cannot get stale or moldy or inert, and will last longer, especially if you keep the two bags well sealed, but I don't know.
So I'm guessing you are in Oregon. Maybe we should, you know... meet. (Blues Brothers). I'm about half way between the Beaverton and Salem North Light and Garden. I was going to rep you with my email address, but I can't rep you until I spread more around. If you are interested why don't you rep me with your email?
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
Rusty Trichome, I hope you don't think less of me, but the hydro guy recommended it and I wanted to try it anyway. However please believe me, I appreciate your advice and thoroughly consider it. I'll start lightly at first, maybe 1000 PPM for the first one just to be safe. If it makes you feel any better, I'm not going to take the Hydro guys advice about not foliar feeding during flowering due to bud rot. Dutch master makes a foliar feed for both veg and bloom, and that is a top of the line brand as you probably know. Dutch Master: FOLIAR TECHNOLOGIES However since there is logically some validity to what the guy is saying, I will use it on 1/4 of the grow the first time. The hydro guy said plants completely go crazy, much more than normal when you use the veg foliar feed, and you should use it up through the first week of budding, then no more. The Dutch master web site says all the way through the grow cycle when using Folitech Grow and up until approximately the 4th week of flowering when using Folitech Flower. Does this mean I use the grow with the bud foliar spray after going to flower, or use the grow only for 4 weeks into flowering? Anyone?
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
Great, now upon reading further, I'm going to take back the foliar sprays and get the Dutch Master Liquid Light. It's their newest thing. Always gotta have the newest thing you know. Take advantage of every bit of technology we have, if ya got the fundage. Not that I have the funds, but I'm determined to spend whatever it takes to do my grow right, right up until my wife has had enough and cuts me off (of spending).

Opie
you have been rep'd - sent my email too.
I am not sure where I read the "life span" of nutes stuff ... but somewhere on one of these sites that I visit. I dumped the little plastic bags and am just using the container... ok so a little lazy ... I must be!
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
hey opie, do you like your beastie bloomz? it's what ive used.
also, i'm lookin to move to oregon sometime soon, happy valley, beaverton area...
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
Its been a while but I just wanted to check in again about the supernatural agua nutes - I really really like them. They're very easy and in flower I am not having hardly any yellowing leaves until the very very end. I am thinking I might want to get the soil type too!
Supernatural nutrients and addatives?
It's been awhile for me too but,
Twentyinches, it's not just Beastie Bloomz, you're supposed to use Open Sesame first, and Cha Ching last. It seemed to give me a little more resin than usual, especially toward the end (is it the Cha Ching mostly?) You could leave out the first one since it's only designed to get buds going ASAP.
Creesab, Thanks for the update. I was pretty satisfied with the results from SuperNatural, but I've just got to try the Dutch Master schedule next.
PS. I'm finding out that SuperNatural brand was/is very popular, perhaps not so much in the U.S.
