I hate the term 'dope' for herb as well. Every time I hear someone use it I'm like, "what are you talking about? Needle drugs are SCARY!" And then they're like "Oh no no no I mean MARIHHHHHHHHHUANA" and I roll my eyes and tell them "Oh why didn't you just say so?"\
Grrrr. Let's get it right, and 'dope' just doesn't spell out nice in the dictionary either... stupid, slow, dumb. I don't like that.
dope is like.. just weird. when i hear doped up i think about junkies NOT weedheads. geez.
The father associated cannabis with delinquency, he is very ignorant. He didn't deserve the money that the Australian idiot payed.
His father is a ignorant fool. He's a SHIT parent, plain and simple.
Man Id rathar be homeless than have a duchebag for a dad like that(tounge in cheek). HAHAHA. Id just tell him in 3 more years ill smoke everyday all day.
I remember this being posted before..:wtf:
oh man but dont remember the 9000 price!
oh my god! that is alot of money for guitar hero 3 for christmas..
Fool.
Think about it though.
Who is the worse parent? The one who disciplines his son for breaking house rules, or the one who spends $9000 on a video game?
If I had to put my money on which kid is going to benefit more from his father's parenting style, I'll bet you guys can guess which one I'd choose.
You do have a point - the guy who spent THAT much on a video game is completely lacking any brain cells - the moron OBVIOUSLY doesnt know the value of money, but the boys dad completely over-reacted.Quote:

so weird...
sit the kid down and explain the risks or your personal beef with it, sure, but don't go crafting a media explosion in the form of a gimmicky ebay auction.
the real problem here with this bad press for pot is all the bored ass monkeysuited office workers that cubicle-orgy circulating these 'LOL LOOK AT THIS!' links as junkmail all day. takes news orgs weeks to find out about this crap normally, if at all. i see fads on youtube that were played out for all of us like five weeks ago show up on the local nightly months late all the time. if people could just SHUT UP for five seconds and stop being attention whoring sloths, perhaps the media wouldnt manhandle marijuana use at every available opportunity.
i got giutar hero for my son for x-mas
i will be selling it for 8000
if anyone is interested please dont hit me up
If i was that kid id be happy that my dad got $9,000 for a $90 game. Id go out and buy 20 of em and sell em all, buy myself a bunch of real guitars... Shiiit.
Damn he could have bought the nicest guitar in the world for that price..
But no the plastic one is so much better
Haha my parents call it that. Pretty sure that's what all people over the age of 40 call it. For whatever reason whenever someone says "smoking dope" aloud I find it hilarious.Quote:

Are you actually calling him a shit parent for disciplining his son. Thats really stupid. You have to discipline your kid if he breaks the rules, or else he'll think he can do whatever the fuck he wants with no consequences. I thought selling the game was a pretty effective punishment, plus he made $9000 in the deal. Sounds pretty smart to me.Quote:

It's only $150 because the Australian version only has Ac/DC songs on it. But it's still better than the Canadian version, which has Brian Adams, who doesn't rock.Quote:

The whole way he dealed with it was PATHETIC.Quote:

Yeah, the kids only 15, but do you think this will change his mind? All it would have done is pissed him right fucking off. He hasnt learnt anything. Talking about the consequences, and risks, and TALKING to the child like an adult will do the trick.
Your just as bad as him.
:S4: Spin on that! :mad::thumbsup:
I like to call it dope, just cause people dont like it that much more. I dont care what they think, the hethens can livein their huts if they want to.Quote:

What is the kid allowed to smoke weed on the weekends but not weekdays, and I seriously doubt he didn't already know smoking weed was against house rules. Of course the dad should talk to him about it, I didn't say to just sell it and never say anything else about. I've known a lot of people who've had parents who were really strict and also people whose parents did the whole hippy never punish thing. Both of these extremes don't work, you need a balance. 15 year olds are stupid (no offense to any 15 year olds), and most aren't yet capable of understanding that their actions now can affect their future 20 years from now. You need to make him understand the risks and make him a little scared to do it again. Punishment isn't supposed to be pleasant. If the kid loves video games take away his video games. Whats the point of taking away something he doesn't give a shit about. Ok I'm gonna rip this bong. Peace.Quote:

Scaring a child away from doing something is the wrong way to go about it. :rastasmoke:
The father believes he is infallible, for a belief to be strong, one must know the truth on both sides of the coin. It is obvious he does not.
Awwwww man, I was being a wiseass.Quote:

Thats your solution?!! To do some "research" on weed, then tell the kid that weed is not that harmful and a lot of the risks are blown out of proportion or outright lies. Thats basically encouraging the kid to keep smoking. For the record, the only way to "research" weed is to smoke it yourself, NORML and other pro-marijuana studies are just as biased and full of shit as the gov'ts. I guess we're just gonna have to agree to disagree on this one LIP:pimp:Quote:
