My plants are so green and healthy and growing like a little kid on steroids. My problem is the heat. I have a huge fan blowing the heat out but its not enough. The heat tends to stay 88+ and I ave tryed everything to lower it. Any ideas?

We need to know type, wattage, and # of lights, size of box, and any exhaust you're already using.
Look at the closet growing section and also at peoples' grow logs for ideas too.
Its a nice open closet space. I am using a Natural Light CFL rasied about 5 inches above the plant. Perfect heat, I can tell with my hand. I Have a nice big white fan blowing medium setting right at it.. The temp would be soaring around 104* but the fan dropped it. Maybe get another fan? Its not closed in its a pretty open spot.
That doesn't make any sense to me. It's December, you are in the Netherlands, you are using CFLs, and you were having temperatures over 100F? Are there any things possible heating your closet besides your light? I live in Arizona, temperatures reach over 110F in summer, and I've been able to keep temperatures in the mid 70s using only a fan and my air conditioner. Maybe you need some sort of exhaust up higher in the room to pull the heat out of the room all together. That's the only thing I can think of, that the room has no way for the heat to escape and its simply building up.
Scag makes a great point. Something doesn't sound right if you've only got one (even several) CFLs, and your temperatures are over 100 degrees without a fan. I've been in rooms with three or more 1000W HID's burning bright, and with just a simple (and very inexpensive) air-conditioner and an oscillating fan or two, the temps were constantly in the mid-70s.
Sounds like you have something else that's contributing to your heat problem. CFLs should not be making your room/closet THAT hot.
I 3rd that... with a 1000MH a fan did fine...
Maybe its what im keeping the tempature with.
It started its week two today actually.
And its a blue spectrum grow light I got from a hydro store in the states.
Ok.. it is just me or is that not a CFL? that looks like a cool white incandescent to me....which may be why it's so hot in there.
Thats probably why its a blue spectrum. The plant loves it for some reason. Im gonna break down next pay check and scoop up some real cfls. I got the temp under control right now though. I put in another exhaust fan, airs moving quite nice. Thanks for the help guys.
That's not a grow light. Get a proper CFL right away. ANY spectrum is better than an incandescent... 'daylight' if you can find it. Incandescents throw a lot of HEAT along with the light.
And if you aren't exchanging the air in there with a proper exhaust, not only will you have temp issues, but the plants may suffocate. You will see that as a darkening and crisping of the leaves.
