Later on though the hallucinations went more with the Age of Enlightenment (I think correct me if I'm wrong) and they didn't think it was witchcraft just spirits or something holy happening.

I am a Christian, but I don't hate people just for their religion, I judge each person by their actions regardless of what group they belong to. :)

the witch trials were a result of the Christian Church wanting to demonize all Mother Nature revering religions, if they wouldnt convert to Christianity. Maybe they were on LSD, who knows? lol

I seem to recall (somewhere deep within my memory banks) a radio interview with a witch, who said something along the lines of what GHoST was saying - that it was the 'worship' of Earth power that was frowned upon. She also said that there was no such thing as a black witch! (something to do with how Earth energy is used - ie, can't be used for bad stuff).

I suppose that we could consider 'the force' as being witchcraft, as it utilises the same energies that the Jedi do...

if ergot (i dont have a clue what ergot is but if it...) does contain lysergic acid it probly will make you trip if you ate enough cause thats the stuff found in hawaiian baby woodrose and .....fuck whats the name of that other seed.... well yeah its found in those seeds and that shit makes you trip balls. Also apparently this is meant to have almost the same effect as lsd. You can get them from garden centers and shit..(well you can here)...but some places put poisons on it to make you not want to eat it. But i dont know what the effects of these are on people... we got MAJOR cramps in our legs when we did lsa a while ago.

lysergic acid is illegal (where Im from anyway) so I'd say its a slight hallucinagen without synthetic process. I find some christians to be ignorant and not listen to what others have to say as theyv been brainwashed into believing the bible is the only answer and completely true. you would die before you tripped from ergot its pretty poisonous shit. the lysergic acid(LSA) has to be extracted with acetone( or some other solvent) and then it's still pretty weak so you have to add certain chemicals(im not gonna say which ones) and go through other procedures to convert to lysergic acid diamelithyde(LSD).
