HAIR TEST IN 12 DAYS HELP! I HAVE ???QUESTIONS???!

HI,
I USED TO BE A DAILY SMOKER 1.5 YEARS AGO. I HAVE SINCE QUIT AND JUST SMOKED OCCASIONALLY. LAST MONTH I WENT ON A WEEKEND TRIP WITH SOME FRIENDS AND SMOKED 5-6 TIMES OVER THE COURSE OF THE WEEKEND. THE TIMES I DID SMOKE IT WAS OUT OF A SMALL BOWL AND USUALLY GOT 1 OR TWO GOOD HITS OUT OF EACH SESSION. THE WEED WAS REALLY GOOD BY THE WAY :P:rastasmoke:

RECENTLY I GOT A JOB OFFER OUT OF STATE AND WILL BE FLYING OUT TO INTERVIEW. AFTER THE INTERVIEW I AM SCHEDULED TO GO FOR A HAIR TEST. RIGHT NOW IT HAS BEEN 30 DAYS SINCE I LAST SMOKED AND IT WILL BE A LITTLE OVER 40 DAYS WHEN I GET TESTED.

I AM FLIPPNOUT HENCE THE USERNAME...I ORDERED 3 ZYDOT SHAMPOOS WHICH I PLAN ON USING. I WANT TO BLEACH/DYE MY HAIR BUT NOT SURE IF I NEED TO WAIT TO DYE OR IF I CAN DO IT NOW SINCE I HAVENT SMOKED IN 30 DAYS. I HAVE BEEN LURKING ON THIS SITE FOR A WHILE AND JUST DECIDED TO MAKE AN ACCOUNT AND GET SOME REAL HELP TO EASE MY STRESS.

I REALLY NEED THIS JOB AND REALLY THOUGHT I WAS GOOD BECAUSE I PRETTY SURE I COULD TAKE A "P" TEST AND PASS IT, BUT WHEN THEY SAID HAIR TEST I WAS CAUGHT OFF GUARD.

BASICALLY IM LOOKING FOR WHAT TO DO AND WHEN.

1. CAN I BLEACH AND DYE MY HAIR NOW OR DO I NEED TO WAIT RIGHT BEFORE THE TEST TO DO IT?
2. DO YOU KNOW OF ANY GOOD BLEACHES/DYES THAT I SHOULD USE?
3. SHOULD I USE ALL 3 OF THE ZYDOT SHAMPOOS THE MORNING OF THE INTERVIEW/HAIR TEST?
4. SHOULD I BE WASHING MY HAIR WITH LAUNDRY DETERGENT?
5. CAN SOMEONE POST THE LINKS TO THE MACUJO AND MAC METHODS OF CLEANING?

Please don't type in all caps as that means you are yelling. I don't care how freaked out you are there is no need to yell or try to get people's attention. Drug tests are important and stress everyone out, you're no different.

GEEESH. I'd be freaking out too. I thought I heard that the dying of hair does nothing to conceal your drug usage and besides, they could take the hair from anywhere on your body. I'm not really educated on the hair tests as I know I've never had to take one but I've heard they can tell the types of drugs you've used in the past several years, with hair. The longer the hair, the more years they can go back? I don't know about the shampoo you speak of....maybe someone with more experience can respond and help you out or maybe like FakeBoobsRule said, do a search and you'll find answers to help you get the job. Does anyone know of a good bleach and dye to use? Are there certain chemicals that have to be in the bleach for it to work?

Also how long after the bleach do you dye the hair?

This one should be easy....You're screwed. Stuff stays in the hair for years and I don't know of anything that can detox hair.

Why would you say that? Just because you don't know of anything that can detox hair doesn't mean it can't be done. They can only go back 90 days, metabolites don't always stay forever, and although beating a hair test doesn't have a 100% success rate, it can be beaten, almost 9 out of 10 times. If you don't know the answer or any helpful information, why scare this person anymore than they already are? Look at his user name, it's flippinout! They are obviously dedicated to beating it after buying not one, not two, but three bottles of Zydot shampoo, a product that is known to help, both by smokers and the government. Flippinout, ignore the negative comments. With your dedication to beating this test and 12 days, you have an excellent chance to succeed.

Flippinout, go to a beauty supply store, tell them you want to bleach the color out of your hair then recolor it them same color. they will help you find what you need. Bleach consists of a peroxide and an activator.

I called one beauty supply store and they said you cannot bleach and dye your hair in the same time frame...is this for real or did they not know what they were talking about?

It's called covering their ass. No, you shouldn't be doing two chemical treatments back to back because it is going to damage your hair and possibly burn your scalp. But you need extreme measures and they don't know that. Some shops aren't this tight and some people get their regular hairdressers to do both treatments for them. Be creative and solve the problem. If you are totally oblivious to hair coloring and can't get the same store to help you, then divide and conquer. Go to one, get them to match your hair color. Go to another, get them to teach you how to bleach your hair to look like Billy Idol. There are many ways to get around this. Use the internet to find out how to mess with your hair. You can email me but I prefer you not in this case because all the answers are here if you look a little. Use the search feature. Do some research. I love to help people pass but I hate to spoon feed answers to people because you give a man a fish you feed him for a day, teach him how to fish you feed him for life, blah blah blah something like that.

Do some research and if in a day or two you need some more help yadda yadda yadda but I'm putting away my spoon for the night.

Keep it simple... shave and get a hair cut

FBR has posted quite a lot about this subject. DO some searching in the drug test forum on this site and you'll find a lot of good info.I would stay with the zydot if I were you. It is a well known and quality product.

The Zydot combined with other methods even boost you chances more. Light smokers may be able to get by with just the Zydot. Very, very doubtful for a heavy smoker.

Also, I am slightly insulted that you said you couldn't find the info because it wasn't on this forum. it is on this forum. I told you to do an advanced search by posts from me using the term hair. before I wrote that post I did the search and looked back at the first 5 or 6 posts that it brought up and found every answer to your question but question number 2. Everything but number 2 and I answered number 2 for you last night. Someone asked about using multiple Zydots, the answer was there. Someone asked about using detergent, the answer was there. Someone asked about when to bleach and dye, the answer was there. Someone asked about the mac method, the answer was there. I made sure all the answers were there before I told you to search and not have the answers there.

I guess I suck at searching...for one I didnt know the Macujo method and the Mac method were the same thing...newbie mistake..

Also I did not see a recipe for the Mac method when doing the search.

As of right now here is what I have figured out with lots of "searching" and the help of many people on this board, FakeBoobs being the most help.

As of right now there are still a couple of things I am not sure about even after searching and reading all the post I could find.

I dont know how many times I should do the Mac method of how long I should leave each product in my hair before rinsing.

For instance I put the vinegar in my hair I used white vinegar because it was cheap and I had it on my shelf already, is this ok or are some better than others? Balsamic, white wine vin etc.?

I put the white vinegar in my hair for about 8.5 minutes and then put the clear and clean astringent in for about 5 to 6 min. Then I put the tide in and let it sit for about 5 minutes and then I rinsed it out and washed with Nexxus Aloe Rid, I worked up a good lather before rinsing this out probably about 2-3 minutes.

The other thing im not sure about is it ok to use a conditioner after washing with Aloe rid? Or do you want your hair to stay all dried out and nasty?

The other thing is when should I zydot the just day of the test or should I do one now...I have 3 in total.

Also I am going to be bleaching my hair very soon Thursday Morning I think. I have a salon appointment to match my color back to original that afternoon. Are there any special ingredients that need to be present in the bleach kit for it to work? I went to a beauty supply store and was told this was the best self bleaching kit they had...

Sorry I didn't realize that when I said Mac you didn't know I was talking about maccujo method. You know how people shorten names around here all the time.

It isn't the type of vinegar that is important, it is the acetic acid in the vinegar that is important. Most vinegar whether white to cider is 5% acetic acid so go with one that is 5%. White vinegar probably is the best because it is the cheapest and the most common. I have seen cider vinegar used. I wouldn't want to use balsamic or some others but I guess they could work.

You are leaving everything in a good amount of time. Put in the vinegar, put in the clean and clear, scrub wait 5-10 minutes, then use Tide, scrub.

I know you want to condition your dried out hair but that could impede your chemical cleaning and the Zydot.

There is a step procedure recommended by Zydot if you are using two boxes. I don't know the thread but I did post in it and I think Jerry G did too. Do a search using hair and my posts and you can find it and the directions given to that member by the folks at Zydot. It has been in the last month or 2. I don't know about 3 boxes.

How long is yor hair? What kind of hair do you have? Were these 5-6 times you smoked the only time you smoked over the last 90 days? Each time you use the mac method it is going to remove more metabolites but between doing that multiple times, doing the bleach, and using 3 Zydots, you are probably going to reach a point of overkill. You hair and scalp can only take so much before it is raw. Watch out. From what you are saying about the small bowls, it really sounds like you don't have much in your hair and normally I don't recommend this, but you may want to slow down on all the treatments, depending on how you answer those 3 question at the top of this paragraph. You really stand a good chance to pass.

Zydot is specifically designed to remove drug metabolites from hair. Aloe Rid and Paul Mitchell Cleanse 3 are marketed as things that remove environmental contaminants from chlorine from swimming and things from hair sprays, gels, mouses, etc. It stands to reason that since Zydot is designed for the purpose of beating drug tests and ALoe Rid and PM 3 are not, the Zydot would be the stronger choice. Aloe Rid and PM 3 are useful though.

Back to laundry, you asked if you could use one of those shampoos instead of Tide? Tide is probably the strongest laundry detergent on the market. It will clean your clothes but it will fade and eat them up too. Tide is far away stronger than shampoo, far and away. Try washing a load of dirty clothes in Head and Shoulders and see what happenes. I don't think you can use conditioner to replace Downy either. The Mac method tries to make the hair porous so that the detergent can enter the hair shaft. Detergents are also stronger than soaps. There is a chemical difference.

Letting it soak longer probably helps a little more but at some point, there is going to be diminishing returns. I don't think anyone has proof heat helps but heat added to many chemical processes helps the chemical process so that is probably the working theory on that.

Bleaching hair helps remove metabolites. Doing it twice probably removes more than doing it once but probably doesn't remove twice as much metabolites. The color does nothing, only to keep you from looking suspicious or a punk rocker.

If you do the mac method multiple times it will make your scalp raw. Hair bleaching is also rough on the scalp. If you are going to do multiple macs, you probably want to do the hair bleaching after the first couple of ones before your scalp gets too raw. Other than that, order matters little. Mac will fade the hair coloring slightly in some cases.

I think I covered all your questions.

BTW for those who are wondering, the macujo method is soaking the hair in vinegar and 2% salicylic acid, which is found in several OTC acne preparations, for about 10 minutes then using Tide or other laundry detergent. There is also a government study showing Zydot can reduce THC metabolites by 23-39%.

My hair is just over 2 inches. I have kind of curly hair, its starting to thin on my crown. These 5-6 over the one weekend are the only times I have smoked in last 90 days.

My girlfriend is bleaching my hair tonight and I am getting dyed back to the original color by a salon tomorrow afternoon.

Should I do some more Macs after I get the hair dyed or will it mess up the color? Also should I use one of my zydots and hold 2 back for the day of along with doing a mac?

Alright, the bleach is now in my hair as I am typing...my head is tingling a slight burn it has only been in 10 minutes, my hair is already blond.

Here are the top 5 ingredients in the powder portion of the bleach:

Persulfate Sodium Silicate, EDTA, Xantham Gum, Magnesium Stearate, Hydrolyzed Collagen.

Here are the top 5 ingredients in the liquid portion of the bleach:

Water, Hydrogen Peroxide, Ethylhexyl Pelargonate, Cetearly alcohol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

Ok Does this mean that the new hair growing from my head with contain THC as well?

I thought that the hair that contained the THC would grow out of your head within 10-14 days. It will be like 43 days since my last smoke when I get tested.

Also, last night I bleached my hair, this morning I did A Mac letting the Vin and Clean and Clear sit in my hair for 8-10 min and used the tide and then washed it out with the Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo.

Today I went to the Salon and got my hair dyed back to normal.

Should I continue to do Macs? Or will it mess the color up? I am thinking it will.

I also have 3 zydots that I plan on using I just dont know when. I know I want to use at least one the day of the test.

When do you guys think I should use the zydots???

Also give me a yes or no on continuing the mac method.

From everything I have read they cut the hair off as close to the scalp as possible. I have not read of a test where they pull the hairs out so they could test the root. I think that would be too painful considering they take 60 hairs.

Maybe a senior member will chime in and answer this one...

im in the same boat your in. Instead of bleaching the shit out of my hair. Im gonna by the acidic shampoo to breakdown the cuticle without melting my head.

I just dont know what is recommended, who has the insight?
