going to be visiting london for a week or two soon . whats the deal there. good pot? easy to find? i have also heard of a red light district in london and wondering if its that one similar to amsterdams? just looking for some feedback and suggestions. thanks.

I've been here 3 months and haven't been able to find a decent hook up. But you can get over priced weed in Camden Town if you are desperate.
Goto a place called Hackney and hold a 20 in the air and some guys will soon approach you.

when you're in london, you're not that far away from belgium or holland. Easy to score some pot there. But ya can find it anywhere. I have been in April in Cambridge UK. And the second day I allready found a good dealer.
I really don't suggest approaching random strangers asking for weed. If your brother studies there ask him to get some in for you.
There's weed EVERYWHERE and it's high q. But if you aint English you'll probably get ripped - or mugged. Just stay away from the dodgy looking street dealers and stay away from camden - if you go to camden looking for weed, you'll get ripped off. It'd be best to ask your bro - but if it easier to go up to a random and ask, try asking an older smoker [it'll be easy to see smokers - they'll be puffing on a joint in the street]
Be careful, and dont be silly about it.
Stay away from Hoxton though, many of my neighbours in hoxton dont like foreigners.
I wish I had some cash to get up London with. Chelmsford is dry dry dry at the moment.

Fuck. That sounds pretty bad. I've been smoking some fruity bud, the stuff STINKS which came from chelmsford - a mate gave me an 1/8 so i gave it ago and it was quite good.Quote:

Well i know for a fact theres quite abit of it going around basildon/chelmsford. I'm not sure where to go about buying it though - i live in london most of the time, just got a small place near rettendon. stay away from brixton croydon hoxton camden etc maybe just try main area but then at the end of the day LIP if you asking people for weed you;re going to have to ask the people who look a bit dodgy if you get me?
Go to West London, try near south bank, ask skaters, do not talk to chavs, people dressed in tracksuits and new era hats. They will rip you off, sell you sprayed weed. Inspect anything before you buy it. I've lived here for time and the connections vary, sometimes it's all great and other times there's a drought or it's bollox stuff. I'm glad i'm chillin with my QB of good quality hash. Ask people you think you can trust. Ask for skunk. It is relatively easy to find if you keep searching. I wish you luck. I dunno bout the red light district, i think that's soho. I wouldn't waste my time coming over here, go to the netherlands instead.
The best way is to look out for older people toking on a joint walking down the street.
Worked for me before, I just complimented on the strong smell and he asked if I was after any, scored a henry of some gear that blew me away.
If only that happened today! haha. There seems to be only hash about at the moment? I hate hash, I have to use so much just to get a decent level of high...

I used to visit the Dam at least once a month and to be honest London just does not compare. I like to visit London and I lived in Kingston (Surrey) for a while so I could easily go for nights out in the city, Croydon was always a great place for live music.
I have a mate in Camden who runs a tat shop and I visit him now and again .
That's funny you say that, i go to Kingston practically every weekday because of college. This is my last year though, then to the Netherlands, i can't wait. There's a lot of bud flowing through SW London, watch out for the sprayed stuff though, it does exist if you buy from the wrong people.

Very interesting indeed. I met another Dutch person who told me he moved to London to get away from the cannabis. I told him the complete opposite. Why would you leave the Netherlands to come to London? I just don't get it, to make more money? I'll never believe it is a more peaceful and friendlier place.

Ja! Hup Holland! Alles is liefde hier. As a Scottish Ex-pat I get asked frequently, but what are you doing in Holland! Made the mistake of saying, Oh yeah because I like to smoke hashish a few time, they don't like that for some reason. The people here are very friendly, but I can understand why they prefer Britain. Holland is way to crowded, it's too flat and the food sucks. Still rather live here than London!
