You've got to give some information about your grow style.
Hydro? Dirt? Organic? Chemical? Miracle-gro?
Funny, I just answered this EXACT question not five minutes ago...
man you are a font of useful info, your grow guide is great,
I'm growing in soil and have been feeding about 35ml per 10litres of bio-bloom, the plants are a cheese, and i am 5 weeks into 12/12, does this help??
isa anyone else on this site from the UK, it would be great to get advice off people growing in similar conditions
Okay, you can start flushing your plants when you see that the trichomes are mostly cloudy but just a few still clear- this should put you within 2 weeks of harvest. You don't really need to 'flush' per se right away; simply switch to plain water for that time, and if you want to really do a good flush, do it right at the end about 4 days to a week before you chop.
The goal is to see some significant yellowing of the larger, older fan leaves immediately prior to harvest.
I am one of a few here.
Welcome to the madhouse.
repping the uk rite here
good to hear from someone, this seems like a really useful site
i am 5 weeks into 12/12 of my first crop, i have loved everyminute, and my plants are looking ream, its been good to get lots of complements from people who have grown before, telling me how healthy they look.
i asked a question earlier about flushing, i feel my plants have taken lots of feed, up to 50ml of bio bloom for the haze plant, and i want to ensure a really good flush, i am growing in soil, and have four plants that are a cheese, and one hawaiian haze plant we rescued from a mate who had to shut down, so i'm not flushing that yet as its miles off, have you any advice on flushing, let me know.
cheers mate good to hear from someone in this country
thanks mate
thats great, thanks a lot man.
good to hear from you too Psycho cat, if you have any advice on my flushing dilemma it would be greatly received.
also if either of you have any advice on a good source of seeds, and a good strain to be cracking o with, obviously clones are what i am growing from at the moment, however i was not all that succesful in my own cloning, so i might need to have a lkittle play around with some seeds, and see if i can unearth a real gem, let me know.
good hearing from you
cheers
Flushing is the same no matter where you're located.
I'm going to merge this thread with the other one, as they are both about flushing.
snowblind
i saw another thread of yours wherre you mentioned "stinky" that is apparantly what my plants are, we have been told they are a type of cheese, and our clones were not cheap, it alkready has a very very cheesy smell to it, is green called "stinky" something your referring to, or am i way off the mark
stinky is her name....
so i have been told, its called Stinky, its a strain of cheese, it is 5 weeks in to 12/12, and is certainly living up to its name, very cheesy, very smelly, i have never heard of it before.
Green and green byproducts are sometimes called stinky or sticky as in "get on in that stinkin Lincoln... grab your lighters roll a sticky" etc. but I'm Stinky too... :D The attic... it's stinkin from all the stinky sticky green up there. Damn I can't wait to get outta work and roll up sumdat...
i know all this, but this guy told me this was the actual name of the plant, that this was the actual strain
:S2:
"Who's on first?"
PC :smokin:
Cheese was a Skunk No.1 crossed with an Afghani many years ago, I dont think there are any 'versions' of cheese tbh.
:bigsmoke:
What's on second!
oh well, maybe its not called that, who knows, it smells like a cheese, so long as it tastes like cheese i'm a very happy greedy little boy
imma confused.
i think the thread i you looked at of mine which had stinky and strains in, refered to stinkyattic and was asking about different indica and sativa strains.
so in answer to your question the stink was, stinkyattic, who has posted already and whilst she may be a yank, is a staple to this site and a wealth of growing information.
stinky in weed terms, just a slang term us slackjawed stoners coin, when describing our sacred herb. so i would imagine from you posts and information that yours is the cheese strain and he was sayin it was stinky so watch out.
in regards to your flushing. i have never used soil, myself. but from what i have read your best off putting them in the shower and flushing them with water till its clear. then leave your plants for a week or so to use up all the last nutrients and chloroform in the leaves and steams. this ensures all the nute have been well used and wont taint the final flavor.
hope this helps.
there are losts of seed site, i usually get cheap seeds from head shops in town, so no paper trail, but when i was at uni i had quite a few sent to my roomies adrees from everybodydoesit.co.uk
peace
cheers mate sound good
