Water and more Water
Now next year I'm thinking about growing some plants out in my backyard, could I just water them and thats it? I mean they don't have to be dankaliscious buds like all yours but wouldn't it work out fine if I just kept up on the watering? No fertilizing just water. Just for when I run out of dank I wanna have some emergency weed, just a decent sized stash of weed that I didn't pay for.
So basically what I'm asking is, how possible is it for me to grow like 5-10 plants just watering them, how successful would I be? Again, as long as one of them are female I would be fine with it. So thanks for any input. I can't really do all the lighting and fertilizer and shit in my current position.

mite as well get max yield and grab some ferts. just watering them would work i guess but seriously get some ferts. i dont see why not:rastasmoke:

It'll work... I grew a couple females outside, I watered them a couple times otherwise I just let the rain take care of it.. they turned out pretty dank too!

plus you could just mix some shit(natural fert.) into the dirt. But water alone should work if your ground soil isn't real bad.

you will be surprized what a little ferts will do along with your watering doesn,t have to break the bank just a treat for your plants.

if the surrounding foliage is green, chances are your soil is fine for herb. nutes dont cost much though and would be nice to have IF you need them.

alright. so i may occasionally fertilize then, the soil is already good I'm pretty sure. You guys really boosted my hope :D

You get back what you put in, and with fertilizer outdoors, LESS IS MORE because if you over-do it, have fun figuring out how to flush a ground-grown plant! :D
For ease of maintenance, prep the holes well with a light airy compost/vermiculite mix (perlite is too obvious outdoors; the white traces persist for years) the autumn before you are to grow.

I hope you don't live near nosy neighbors. In order to have a successful harvest, you first need to harvest. Just keep security in mind if there are strict laws prohibiting cultivation in the state you live in. Cannabis has a very detectable odor, especially if you grow a monster sized tree...which can happen easily outside and in the right conditions. Just make sure the fuzz doesn't find out, because if it's being grown on your property, it belongs to you should the law come down on you.
Take care.

itll work w/ just water, and lightll be fine if theres full coverage for sun.
id still suggest ferts. get those solids or stake ones that you dont touch for almost a month at a time.

put the plants in pots. use good soil and ph your water . pots are good cause if someone comes to your place u can stash them somewhere.

Stake ferts are BAD!!! Those are NOT designed for cannabis. I've seen enough people kill their plants with fertilizer stakes to say NEVER use them. You could get lucky, but why risk it?
You NEED to fertilize somehow. You can use compost, organic soil amendments, or liquid, or maybe you are lucky and have extraordinarily rich soil (I doubt it; even around here in the farmlands surrounding the CT/Deerfield river valleys the farmers STILL spread liquid manure!!!) but you need food.

i said stakes b/c theyll last a longh time between stakes since hes looking to avoid daily nuting.
best is always liquid nutes, but there are some good solid ones that last almost a month. i use some tomato ferts to flower my plants

shit, if it is in your back yard how hard is it to mix up some nutes every week or two? spikes arent the best either. did i have troubles? no not really, but will they do better with a little care? heck yes. you dont need a fortune in nutes either, but i take it easy in that area.
