Just watched a clip of a man in TX that shoot two men burglarizing a house. Hey was on a 911 call for 3 minutes and was witnessing his next door neighbors house. He kept saying I cant just sit around and do nothing. He goes out with a shot gun and wastes the two men as they flee with loot in hand..
the guys 61.. still not charged.. only in Texas..

While I dont think he shoulda killed them, thats both A) incredibly funny and B) incredibly badass
actually I find that incredibly fucked up. MAYBE you could have the right to kill someone if it was YOUR house and they were threatening you. But fuck these guys weren't trying to hurt anyone, while they are dicks for trying to jack someone they certainly dont deserve to have their lives ended over something as petty as material goods.

A good few years ago now a man called Tony Martin shot 2 theives with a shotgun in his home in Norfolk. One was 16, one was abit older i think. The 16 year old died, and the other one just about survived. Tony Martin was arrested, charged and found guilty, but only served a few years of his sentence because virtually EVERYONE in England thought it was completely wrong to send him to prison. He did nothing wrong. If someone breaks into your home, kill them. If someone broke into my home i wouldnt think twise about cutting them in half. Anyway, yeah, good on the old guy. He did the right thing. In England, generally, the criminal is favoured over the victim - and that is disgusting.
These guys broke into his neighbors home and he was inside his house the 911 operator kept telling him to stay inside and no one was home next door and the cops were basically there already bc they got there immediately after he shot them. While I don't endorse thievery at all I am completely against it, however I do not believe the punishment is death by crazy old man. The problem he has is there were not in his home and no one was in danger for there lives, if they had come into his house thats a different story or if there was somebody home next door etc. but I'm watching it on CNN right now and the guy is calm and not scared, but he is pissed that there getting away with it and he's not gonna let that happen, that's just over the top vigilante justice not self defense. This is my opinion however this story can be TOLD in a way that makes it sound justified but when you actually hear him on the phone and see the situation I do not believe it was a justified situation and I do believe he endangered more lives when he went out there pissed firing a shotgun in a neighborhood.

guy calls 911, says there is some one on his neighbors roof stealing is shingles and need to send the cops. now heres the funny part says they aint goin anywhere because he took their ladder and they are stuck up there just milling around.

I wonder why he didn't just shoot their car? When I lived in Texas a guy pulled out his six shooter and killed a guy who cut him off in traffic, in the middle of Ft. Worth. Don't mess with Texas. A bunch of crazy motherfuckers.

so now we should kill someone bc someone sometime might do something bc someone has done it before. It should be looked at on a situational basis and this was way over the top for this situation and you can't just shoot someone bc there could be an old lady in there and he could fucked up enough to rap her there wasn't and he KNEW there wasn't, if we called that justified killing then we could sure go out and kill a lot of ppl.

All this could of stuff is ridiculous when we are talking about a real event not a theouretical one and if someone was in danger of there life there would not be a question as to if it was justifiable. And if someone was leaving my empty neighbors house with all there stuff I definitely would not shoot them.
And if they were stealing my stuff I wouldn't shoot them either I like all inteligent ppl have renters insurance for my appt. and howmowners insurance for my house. Besides things are not worth lives no matter how new, expensive, or technologically advanced. He made things as dangerous as they were by shooting 2 guys as they were leaving because he was pissed they were getting away with it and that is it.
And no I have never robbed, stole or shoplifted anything and I do not condone it, it is a risk to be shot when you are a burglar but that doesn't mean that burglars can be shot on site because you don't want them to get away with things, why are so many ppl obsessed with things. Things enhance life but they are not life therefor it is not worth taking a life for a thing.
