hey, i was wondering what this smoking technique was called and how its done..it was refered to as 'bots'
the weed was grinded up really good and then it was dabbed with a cigerette. The smoke from the pot traveled down into a water bottle, to which it was smoked from. and teh tabaccoo smoke traveled up.
thats pretty much was i observed, can anyone explain this technique to me? i wanted to try it with some buddies

Im sober and I dont quite understand. Dabbed? And how did the weed smoke travel one way and the cig the other? Was there some sort of device involved? Was the smoke pulled through the filter in the cig?
Hes just saying when u dab a light ciggerette onto weed, then smoking it, you get a hit of weed and then tobacco afterward. Never heard of it.
they would load the bong with a pinch of tobacco then top it off with weed them hit it all in one hit, nasty if you ask me
but what ever puts wind in your sails..
thats not bots, bots is this weird thing that fills the bottle up with he top half or bottom half dont really know but fills up with weed smoke and the tobacco smoke goes somewhere else i know that for sure you dont inhale the tobacco smokeQuote:

Sounds interesting, but the way it was described made no sense. All I caught was "dabbed a cigarette" and then suddenly he was talking about smoke going through a water bottle and whatnot...
There's 2 things I consider when finding a new way to smoke...
1.) Is it practical? As in, not too complicated.
2.) Does it get me higher, or does it have any additional benefits like not smelling?
This one doesn't sound like it fits either description. I'm still curious as to what he's talking about though...anyone got a video of this?
ok i'm sober at the moment so i'll see if i can describe the technique better
what you need: weed, lighter, cigarette, water bottle, coffee grinder
they grinded up the weed really good, and it looked like he was compressing with two drivers licenses. he made a few 'bots' with this, which were about a third of the size of a penny, and the thickness of the penny
a whole was burned into the empty water bottle at the bottom. The cap was kept on the water bottle.
the cigarette was smoked til about half way. then the 'bots' were dabbed with the cigarette. my buddy held the cigarette near the hole in the water bottle and said he was trying to find the perfect angle.
Somehow the tabbacco smoke traveled up, while the weed smoke traveled down into the water bottle, to which it was smoked from. makes any sense? i'm going to try to find a video..
i can try and picture in my head what you are sayin and it sounds pretty tight. maybe its just my imagination
Are you saying that the smoke from the burning end went two directions, with pot smoke going down and tobacco smoke going up. Or are you saying that smoke from the "dabbed" end went down, and cigarette smoke from the unlit end went up. I've seen unfiltered cigarattes make smoke from both ends, and I'm wiondereng if that is what you're talking about. It's hard to visualize from the desciption.
I can't picture that one. But, I haven't seen anyone here mention smokin' hash or buds with "hot knives". That is one good way to smoke 'em up, man.

i wanted to try this out with a couple buddies of mine. i won't be seeing the guy who showed it to me in the first place for a while, but i guess no one here knows what im talking about.
but ya, when the bot was dabbed there were two paths the smoke was taking, and buddy had to angle it to get the weed smoke to travel into the water bottle

poke hole in side of bottle and put a plastic rod stuffed with bud in hole
(can be done w/ or w/o water) pooch it, and suck it hard to slide the sucker to a final hisswing splash in the water
The "Perfect Angle" ??? That sounds like WAY too much work, dude. If that got me at least 50 times higher I'd try it. Why waste time worrying about angles and sizes and everything? Buy a cheap little pipe.

I understand what your saying. I have noticed in glass pipee, that any pot smoke left behind will sink to the bottom. FOr instance if you tip it mouth piece up the smoke goes down into the bowl head, where as if you holding mouthpiece down the smoke seeps out of it. Ciggarette smoke rise, so in concept this technique would work, but it does sound kinda like a waste of time, but hell if your having fun, go for it.:rasta::hippy:
It sounds like more of a trippy physics experiment to do AFTER you actually got done getting high using a practical smoking technique.

theyre done with hash.
esentially hte concept is, you have some hash maybe 1/4" from the tip of the cigarette,light the cigarette, and stick it inside the hoel in the bototm of the bottle and wait.
Since the hash smoke is heavier and thicker, it will fall to the bottom of the bottle and condense, and the tobacco smoke is thinner and lighter, so it will escape out the top in little blueish wisps.

i do bots all the time
you grind up your weed, get the crystal, press it into a block, then we use a razor blade to cut it up into little peices. pickup a peice with the end of a smoke, and stick it in a hole in a bottle, let it fill up with smoke then take it. theyr sick you get baked in like 3 or 4 bots. then u can still smoke all the weed:jointsmile:
