I dont normally drink that sweet stuff, but isnt the only differnce the price? I'll vote for coke.

I dont really drink soda period...so many empty calories in it. Plus carbonated beverages are baaaaaaad for you.

I dont drink soda very often,but,If I had to choose,I would go with pepsi,Coke is too strong for me...like it burns my throat going down.It has more of a bite to it,sorta like Barqs root Beer Compared to MUG.....Barqs is too strong.

No, the flavor of Coke and Pepsi are distinctively different. There are very suttle amounts of citrus (mainly lemon and orange) and vanilla flavors in each and the amount of these flavors are different as well as how sweet each tastes. In the mid 80's Coke tried to change the recipe to more closely resemble Pepsi and that didn't go over well at all. I think the new recipe lasted about 3 months before they went back to the old recipe. Last year some employees from Coke tried to sell the formula to Pepsi and Pepsi ratted them out quicker than you can say fizz. Obviously both companies take corporate theft very seriously and look out for each other in some weird way.

Someone told me the other day in some states it is a law that if you are in a restaurant and order Coke and they only have Pepsi they have to tell you they only have Pepsi is that ok and can't just substitute it without asking and vice versa. I don't know if that is true or not.

I too find the regular products too sweet (Coke did have a Coke C2 for a while which had half the sugar) and drink only the diet products. Coke is far superior to Pepsi but I do like Pepsi too.

That's interesting! I didnt know any of that.

My local snooker club sells pepsi as coke. Bloody rip off it is too, a pint of stella is on the £4 mark, pint of coke [pepsi] is over £2 and a pint of TAP water is over £1.

When i saw the title i thought u were talking about the other stuff....then i was thinking....INSTANT DELETION!!! LOL!

Thats what I heard Dr.Pepper is....thats why it's called "Dr" incase your constipated......I dunno if its true,but I heard that same thing.

I prefer the taste of Coke over Pepsi. But I work hard at not drinking carbonated, sugared drinks, either. I try to stick to water and/or water-based drinks liked iced tea or green tea.

Ya soda sucks. It leaves a horrible aftertaste in your mouth and contains waaaaaaaaay too much sugar! I'd rather have iced tea or water.

i prefere coke over pepsi if its on ice, but i would much rather drink a DR PEPPER over either of those

I prefer coke, like reefer rogue said, brand loyalty, although my drink of choice would be Barq's

Haven't had soda in at least 8 months so if I had to cheat today I'd go with the coke but hey thats just me.

nah but close, it was made by a doctor to do somthing for his paticents and its named after him dr pepper, dont really remember his 1st name but saw on a show about makin soda and shit on history ch

Neither as they don't seem to quench my thirst. And they are also unhealthy. Good old water rules over all forms of drink.:)
