What are my leaves doing?
Ok my leaves seem to be drooping a little, they are drooping mostly throughout the whole leafe, some more faurther to the end of the leaf than others. Some leaves also seem to be curling under on the sides too. The leafs seem sort delicate and limp, they are still a nice green tho.
What is causing this?? My thoughts may be they are getting to dry between waterings. Any advice from the gro masters out there? Thanks in advance for any advice or replys
PS Sory i dont have any pics, shitty camerca that doesnt focus well at all at close range. If u want some non close up pics tho u can check out my log in my signature, it has pics from yesterday.

I would say that you definately need to keep it watered, drooping leaves is a genuine sign of being dry (sagging and dryness are two things we never want with our girls... lol). Another problem could be that it is root bound. This can cause them to sag as well.

Yea my friend said the same thing. The only reaso i dont think that is, is that they have been in these 2 gal pots (i think they are 2 gallon) for only about 2 weeks and they arent even that large yet. Also all i am using fert wise is GrowBig, 2 tsp/gal. Thanks jon for ur advice tho very much:thumbsup:

maby nute burn, had some similar problems

hmmmmm, u think 2 tsp/ gal growbig could burn a plant??

ok, im thinkin its the nitrogen, your nutes are 6/4/4 , nitrogen/phosphorus/potassium and if your plants are young i think that could be it,
but if somone else could confirm this

jimmybones, they're 3 weeks out of the soil, and I have only used 2tsp/gal for the first and only time last week, they went the first 2 weeks with no nutes in the water. I checked the soil under my top layer of hydroton (used to retain moisture and reduce soil displacement during watering), and the siold was pretty dry. Im thinking waterings might have to be more like 2 watering every week and a half, instead of the 1 watering per week that I have been doing.
Im not saying that too much N wouldnt do that, from the website u gave it looks like thats exactly what happend. I just dont see were the excess N could have came from. Also my stems are very thick for thier IMO, while the website related too much N to weak stems.

Water well with plain water. Sounds like N overdose combined with underwatering. 1 watering per week is not enough.

1 watering/week?! it should be every 2-3 days!

I agree with Stinky's recommendation. I feed with a good bit of Nitrogen during veg, and every once in a while I'll have a plant that looks like it's suffering from N toxicity...dark green color, leaves curling under, giving a drooping look even though the leaves are still turgid.
I grow organically in soil, and usually after a flush or two, the foliage starts to recover. If it gets too bad, though, it can take a while to get back to normal.

I wish i wuold have hopped on here befor i watered this morning, i would have excluded the growbig from the water, i think we will be alright. Does anyone think that the stress of the LST may be causing the slight undercurl?? Thank you everyone, i will let u know if the plants are still looking bum after the watering has set in.. then maybee we will know if it is N tox.

re-water to the point of runoff with plain water to get that excess fert out.
The LST should not affect leave shape.
What are my leaves doing?
Stinky, i trust u, but im pretty sure that it was just underwatering. The only reason i believe it not to be N tox. is because i have really good draingage and i have only used 2tsp/gal growbig once, well twice after yesterday. I just cant see one app. of growbig (6-4-4) to cause a tox of N.
So I am going to probably just up my watering schedule to more frequent right now. Then i think if they still show the same symtoms i will try flushing.

With regards to droopyness, mine seems to be droopy in the morning but by afternoon and on its really perky. I have an 18/6 light schedule. I dont water in the darkness. I have water set on a timer so I give it a dose not to long after the lights go on then stagger the feeds 2 or so hours throughout the day. This is a hydro set up. Does anyone know why the leaves are droopy in the morning after coming off the 6 hrs of darkness.
My last grow I had a similiar effect but like after 30 minutes from the light coming on, all my leaves were stretching for the HID and looking very perky. Do you think it has anything to do with the strain as far as how they react and so forth?
Anybody
Thanks

Are you using potting soil or soiless mix? Because the potting soil has more than enough nutrients to keep a plant going for good month. Growbig is definately not the stuff you want to be using now. I never start feeding for a month unless
1. Its Soilless mix
2. Leaves are showing nutrient lackings
3. The soil has already been used
And in this case, you're still doing vegetation? So higher nitrogen and lower phosphorus and potassium. It seems you're just gorging them. Try using less too because 2tsp/gal is a lot of damn food for one plant.

OVERWATERING,
maybe when you do water them you give too much water and the outcome of overwatering always give off a droopy/saggy look but the color is not effected...And i see everybody answering and all but i'll give you the main solution for problems like this.... click this link Plant Abuse Chart
have a good one, don't say i never gave u anything...lol

If it was overwatering with that much nitrogen the leaves would have definately changed colors. Probably spotted and wilted.

I am using 2tsp/gal, usually 2 gallons worth for a feeding. But i dont have 1 plant I have 6 and those 2 gallons get distrubited evenly through out the 6 plants. Also the soil is abuot 3:1 ocean forrest to perlite
