Smoking More.. headaches..?
My friend has been a long time smoker, and I'm new to it.. only 3-4 months now so I don't need much to get high - but he does.
When I smoke I've smoked out of lots, joints, bongs, pipes, etc..
So I don't smoke much over my house, but when he's over and we hang I smoke about 5-6 bowls maybe more sometimes.. when my usual one bowl can last me 2 days for a good steady high. That high is fine for me.. but he likes to get really high.. so I smoke more. Last night I smoked so much (not really SO much, but to me it was so much) that I started to get a throbbing headache.. and it wasn't enjoyable. There were no seeds so that can be marked out for a factor.
So when I smoke a small amount and get a nice high.. it's good.. anything more and it starts a headache.. and sometimes a throbbing one if I smoke more.
So anyone know why this might be happening?

But seriously, I've never had this problem lol. If I smoke too much I usually just pass out eating cereal or somethin haha.

this happens because you are dehydrated.
you need to drink a good amount of water bro/ even more if ur gunna burn it.
ganja tends to dehydrate you.
you shouldnt worry about ur head aches just drink water before u burn. it will be good.

It's from smoking too much in a short period of time. It has something to do with what's released during the combustion process. This happens to me if I smoke too many cigarettes in a short period of time too. Just don't smoke so much in one sitting, especially if you're still kind of new to the whole thing.
Seeds don't seem to give me a headache, but stems do. Low grade weed (schwag) can do the same thing.
A.) Don't smoke more than you can handle. Even if it doesn't give you a headache, getting "too high" is just not any fun. If your buddy tries to pressure you into smoking more, tell him it's more for him. If he continues, tell him to fuck off.
B.) Aspirin is your friend.

Alright, yeah pretty much the weed I have is reallly low grade weed.
And being dehydrated would completely make sense.. because I hardly, if ever, drink while I smoke. :)

Sometimes certain schwag would give me a headache or very rarely my teeth would hurt. I thought it was just me with the teeth but one time i was smoking out with homeboy and he said the same thing but it could be my fillings. most likely its the bud and I doubt you could get a headache with nug. :thumbsup:

I agree with you on everything 100% except aspirin.
If you do want to get really high, go ahead, but just slow down on the hits. And if you don't, then don't. Take deep breaths of fresh air between hits.
Whenever I have gotten a headache it's because I smoked too much too fast.

It's either....
1. dehydration. Drink water; I like Smart Water b/c it has electrolytes, but no sugar (like Gatorade or Powerade).
2. contaminents in the weed. Pesticides, etc.
3. are you smoking cigarettes at the same time? Sometimes that gives me a headache.

it happened to me today, i felt really nauseas ( i puked) and i got really white
if i tried to eat or drink, it just made me worse

in the last few months I've stopped smoking regularly twice for a week or more. When I started smoking again my head hurt for a day I think it has to do with inhaling carbon monoxide, dioxide and whatever else is in smoke.

I've been unable to smoke for about 17 months and before I stopped smoking (because of the courts), I never had headaches.
After being put on probo...I was plagued with what was eventually diagnosed as something called Cluster Headaches by two different neurologists. Basically, an even worse version of a migraine.
The pain is always in one spot and is best described as a stabbing or burning feeling. I dunno if the pot was helping it, but I only started to get those headaches after I quit.
