pollinate a female branch. makes more of the lush green that u grow. kno what im sayen
throw them in the disposal, and grind them to a pulp and cuss continuously asking why they were not female!
so cant make nothing with them? hash? kief? nething?
seriously, there are at least 2 other threads on this that have been posted in within the last 3 days. why you make this thread i dont know.
males are only useful for pollen and hemp, besides that, all you can do is hit peole with it for the fun of i and sell its leaves to some schoolkids (beats organo, rigt?)
they make excellent fire kindling, burn them while you're toking on some female herb:jointsmile:
lol, ok sorry bout that I just think of shit and post, lol Ill start searching from now on
I answered a question similar to this a while back.
My opinion still stands that, when stripped of their leaves, they make excellent back-scratchers.
Cats tend to go nuts over all plants, especially cannabis plants, so if you have any cats...let them tear it apart. It isn't going to hurt them.
Other than that, there's really no use for them other than making compost. Some people claim that you can make hash oil out of them, but they ignore the fact that there is virtually no THC present. Without THC, you're not really making hash, just an oily substance that has little use recreationally.
Clandestine, I must disagree with you. Male plant, although less potent than females, CAN get you buzzed. The male plant is good to "cut" your bud with- it even adds a bit of THC. All my males are either smoked or go into the jar of vodka for Green Dragon.
No, males won't get you wasted, but if you are out, they are way better than nothing! I simply cannot understand why folks cut their bud with tobacco :wtf: when male is available! Tobacco is carcinogenic! And it tastes bad, IMHO. I will "cut" my bud joints with male or even fan leaves, or roll just half a joint. I will NEVER use tobacco! - Granny:hippy:
I stand corrected Granny, you're right that there is some THC in the males...but I generally don't bother with them. I've only ever used them for breeding, otherwise they're ripped out of the dirt before they have the chance to violate my precious ladies! :D
I've heard of people taking pounds of dry male plants and pressing it into some fairly potent oil, but again, I've just never taken the time to find out how accurate this process is, and from what I remember reading, you need to have a whole bunch of it. As for adding male plants to a stash of sinsemilla, I've always found smoking dried leaves (male & female) to be harsh...regardless of how well it was cured. At least with female trimmings, there's always the option of Bubble Hash...but I'd guess that's not possible with males that lack trichomes.
And cannabis is also carcinogenic when burned, but I agree that tobacco is much worse. It's highly addictive, and presents no medicinal qualities to those who smoke it. I should know, I've been trying for years to quit. About to start taking Paxil tomorrow, I've heard promising stories of people who've quit while taking that. Plus, it's supposed to make me peppy to boot!
Make brownies.
yeah I decided to due away with the carcinogens and bought a volcano... one of the most espensive-non-regreted things I have bought! mmm....
I'll admit that I'm still partial to glass pipes & rolling papers. I guess it's just the hippie in me, refusing to die! :hippy:
But I've always enjoyed consuming it in food, namely pizza, and on an empty stomach! You can't beat that high, no matter how much you smoke. I'm usually pretty generous when adding it as a topping, and end up putting more on the food than I would normally smoke at any one time. But, damn, I get so freaking lit that way.
I'm not partial to vaporizers, however, because you don't really get many indicators telling you how much is enough. I tend to get too lit, rendering me a stupefied jackass for the next several hours...though that's not always a bad thing. I just tend to get anti-social when I get that ripped.
Like I said earlier, I still justify inhaling those carcinogens because there's a therapeutic effect involved. I've never been able to say that about cigarettes, and I've been trying to quit for what feels like an eternity. I can easily - but generally not willingly - lay off the cannabis for months, even years at a time, without any negative side-effects of detoxification...but if I go two hours between a cigarette, I'm ready to murder small children & kittens. I can really be an ass when nicotine isn't pumping through my veins, which really makes me want to ditch the addiction.
Hopefully that'll be remedied soon!:woohoo:
Oh of course! one can't ever fully ditch the old known common method of smoking. I spent too much $$ on sweet bongs and pipes to just let them collect dust. Plus Kingpins taste too yummy..
But I like the fact I can toke before I go to my dead-end temp job w/o smelling like weed. I mean it's bad enough I look like a stoner, dress like one, and have a desert in my eyes so at least I can eliminate the smell lol
But tis true about not knowing when to stop sometimes, I can't even remember how many times ive vape'd myself into a foreign daze... hmm, see this is why I can't remember ha!
But it's ohh ohh so good :D
just discard the males (women do it every day) ...

I guess I always knew that there were more carcinogens in tobacco smoke, because of all the pesticides & impurities that get thrown into them to reduce disease & increase yield. I also knew that the tar itself was carcinogenic, and I just figured that the tar produced by cannabis might have the same effect.Quote:

OK, I'm not gonna lie. I did not read a single word of any of those studies. I did not even read the title or description of them all either. I'm a lazy stoner, but aren't we all?
But I tend to agree with your statement that there are carcinogens in the smoke of any substance. I'm not going to argue that point because in my years, few they may be, I've learned that what makes sense to me isn't necessarily correct.
The point that I'm going to argue is this, the cannabis might not be carcinogenic when smoked, but the lighter fluid that your breathing in when used to combust the plant has harmful effects. Also, if your smoking a joint, the rolling paper would have negative effects of its own.
i dry the main stems and put em around the house as decorations! (males and females)
