Paranoia spoiling your times?

I think I may have figured out, at least in my case, what causes paranoia while getting high. I think it's the almost unavoidable underlying thought that you could possibly get caught, no matter how careful you are. And that can be scary as hell. Even while I may not consciously be worrying about getting caught, the underlying reality of it causes me a bit of uneasiness, which in my case causes mild paranoia.
Or maybe it's paranoia causing me to go on with this ridiculous train of thought. Crap, I haven't figured out anything!

Whenever I get paranoid I just take a deep breath and tell myself, "You know it's gonna be all right." :hippy:

Because most of the time (for me anyway) I'm just tripping out and have nothing to worry about.

One time I just remember I was sooo high and happy that I really wasnt paranoid, but I was still careful about being caught at my house. It must have been some really good weed.
So, experiment a little? This was one of my only times like that. So what I guess Im saying is, experiment more? I dont know. haha :D

If it wasn't illegal I don't think I would have any reasons to worry. I blame the government!

whenever I'm outside and smoking I'm always paranoid, the only time I'm not is when I'm actually hitting whatever it is. remember one time I was looking all around and hearin shit then looked real quick to my left and thought I saw a guy in all white walk behind a bush that was close to me. haha I didnt know what to do and started pacing with my bowl in hand. But as soon as i took another hit I didn't give a care. lol I lovvveee weed. and If we're smoking a blunt in the car I used to get paranoid about cops being everywhere but after a while you pass alot that are doing radar checks or whatever and they don't pull behind you, you just laugh and stop worrying about em.

Sometimes it really, really kills my high.

I used to get super paranoid when i first started. Its a buzz kill and it pisses off people when they're trying to do something and your jittering gets in their way. Now that i've been smoking for a while its rare, usually only when i get high when i have to do something important. But then again, i wouldnt want to be paranoid about being high when doing something important.

Its understandable, but you gotta control it because it can really ruin a fun night. However not doing stupid shit helps. I mean not all paranoia is unfounded, if i was driving while smoking a J i'd be paranoid. I wouldnt let it control me but i dont think i'd want to be in a position like that and not have some part of me worry.

to avoid this i keep myself busy, i go on hikes in my canyon, play video games, watch a movie. if you just sit there, you start thinking way too much about everything.

You know...I get paranoid ordering a Subway sandwich, but I can go to my church job and fit right in. Hmmm.

I always tell my self to just go with the flow. If your paranoid you act the worse in front of people.

I get paranoid in diff ways. I've had laced shit once or twice and now sometimes, I always worried when smoking and when I was high high. It's been better recently, I haven't really thought about it since it happened last February, but it happened for like a month afterwards.

since i quit caring if people know im stoned, i dont really get paranoid anymore. also taking precautions to not get caught helps, such as not carrying weed in your car(at least not too much that you cant eat it quickly.) and only smoking on private property.

i had a really paranoid (and shitty) high the other day. i think it was because i smoked at home for the first time and i was really worried about getting caught because its never happened before. when im somewhere peaceful the high is good, when im nervous before its bad, at least for me

Used to happen to me when i started smoking...
Once i got really really paranoid, i couldn't see shit, and couldn't understand what people were saying to me... my heart was racing like 1000/minute lol..
I thought it was gonna jump out and run away and that i will die..
Never been scared so much in my life... was in cold sweat...

Anyway, after a while of sitting and being unable to move, i just puked 5 or 6 times..

Took me a while to get back to smoking weed :rastasmoke:

But don't worry, as you gain experience you will get paranoid less and less.. :smokin:

paranoia to me is part of the high. when i start smoking a joint its part of the realization and of being more aware. but then although i like the monging/after effects i always get well paranoid. i never go out . i dont even show my face , i always tell myself to go out when im coming up and then a couples minutes later, im like nah i laterlly can't. if i smoke everyday for a couple of weeks ive got more used to it and can almost operate normally while cained. but the one off joint out of a quarter pulls me apart. then i kinda kid myself that i enjoyed the experience when ive recovered and feel better that ive got stoned again, cos i know it does good for me, even though its a battle.
