It can get high. I'm assuming the brain chemisty is similar so THC would do /something/ to it.
Supposedly dogs have a lot of veins in their ears which absorbe the active ingredients in the smoke through a thin layer of skin. I can't tell you certainly if it is true or not, since to the best of my knowledge there are not any studies on how to get dogs high. Try it yourself and note the animals reaction, if it is willing to participate.
i blow it in my cats ear sometimes, and it seems to do the job, but i also just kinda blow a fat cloud at her face and she seems to enjoy it more. i dont force her, if i was to blow cigarette smoke shed sneeze and run away, but the sweet mary does her proper i suppose.
lol thats funny i never heard before the ear thing. My dog wont come anywhere near me if i smoke he hates the smell he runs as soon as i exhale i think i blew it in his face accidently once before lol
if you wanna get your pet high, find yourself a nice suit case that the pet can fit in and place the pet in it, zip it up find a porthole and blow all your smoke in it once the suitcased is properlly green housed your pet will be ripped.
i blew it in my cats face and she started coffing and got pretty backed. then i gabve it a couple shotties and it passed out haha.
i cupped my hands over my dogs and exhaled a huge rip of some good shit right into her lungs. she caughed, then trotted out of the room with bloodshot eyes. i cam edownstairs to find hewr rolling on the floor. then she sees me eating, and i see a look in her face ide never seen before, she had the munchies. i gave her a huge bowl of dogfood and she tore through it. then she jumped on a couch and passed out. i love my dog, lol.
My dog at least prefers to have it breathed on him or eat a bud. He jumps on me when I'm smoking a bowl if he wants a hit, if he doesn't he'll just lay there. I never force him, he just likes weed!
My friend was telling me about a time when he hotboxed his living room with a pregnant cat inside. The cat got really stoned, popped out only one kitten, and fell asleep.
It's not necessarily related to weed, not by any means, but I personally don't take any chances with my dear old dog anymore.
My dog is just another one of my smoking buddies. When I'm at home alone and wanna rip a bowl, I go outside on my front porch and sit by my dog on a bench. She really likes when I exhale slowly into her ear and I can tell that she gets just as ripped as I do! We were just chillin on the bench after we finished of the bowl and I noticed that her balance was slightly off as she was tilting to one side and just zonin' out. I gave her a gentle push and she fell over on her back and started to wag her tail and just gave me this look with a huge smile on her face as if to say, "Damn, I am fuckin blazed!"
I love my dog. It's too bad I don't get to see her very often as I'm off in college. Dogs are honestly natural stoners.
Hahahahaha. Sorry but thats fucking funny for some reason :pQuote:

My dog, Frank, loves weed. I thought it would be a bit cruel to get him stoned (and I was a bit worried that he would freak out and rip somebody apart...who knows, right), but, the first time I smoked around him, as usual, he was trying to get up into my stuff. I was just chilling, smoking a J, and he eventually collapsed on me, moving his nose toward the smoke. He got shitfaced, man. He was having a good old time, and I think he ate 1/3 of a bag of doggie treats. Now when I come home, and he smells the weed, he goes nuts until I blow some on him.
Umm... even pets have to breathe, dude. Give your cat some catnip, your dog a bone. Save the weed for yourself..Quote:

if you have weed in your pocket, will go for it, and wont settle down till you blow smoke its way
that is very much true, but it may or can cause ear infections because there ears are delicate and sensitive
