Hot Knives

Has anyone used hot knives to smoke weed, or can you only do that with hash?

How do you do this trick? I've heard its cool and I want to learn how to do it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

ive heard of hot knifing.... i heard it can be difficult to do the fist time out. good luck.

I'm sure I could rig something up but I've never tried... Basically your just placing the herb between two red hot knives and then you have to use something so you can suck air between those two knives around the herb... Can't be that hard to make something, but I don't feel like ruining the temper of any of my blades :cool:

just use 2 butter knives, stick them in a fire or torch the ends of them, the place your little amount of bud between the knives, and then smoke rises. ia always just use a straw or hollow pen to inhale. works damn good.

:D What you are all talking about is called SPOTTING...its big here in New Zealand. You will need 2 knives, a glass bottle with the bottom removed, and a tin lid to put over knives to help them heat faster. The knives need to be red hot for each SPOT you do. Make your spots up on a wooden chopping board or something similier, when the knives are hot lightly touch the spot with it and it will connect to the heat, then push the other knife on top of the spot and hold under under the bottle and inhale. It is easier to have 2 ppl to do this, 1 to drive the knives, and 1 toking, then swap. My hubby has made me a self spotter holder which I will try to get you pics of us using so you can make one.

You use alot less weed by SPOTTING it and you get shit-faced. Don't make your spots too big cos doing it this way you get alot more smoke.

It is more of a pain in the ass. Just smoke a bowl, joint, or if you really want to get fucked, load up a vaporizer with a large nug of hash and toke that until your mind warps. :)

yeah...i only do knife hits when im feeling like it....its a good way to wake and bake, when you dont really have anyhting else to do anyways. and it saves weed. thats always a plus.

:rolleyes: Once you have your spotting gear sorted it only takes a minute to set up and get smashed. We spot more than anything else so all utensils are in the warmer draw of the oven. :D

Fuckin yeah hot knifez are the shit. They're called hot knifez around here. Roll your bud into little b b size. Use a burner or a torch, (torch is mutch faster) get 2 butter knifez, get the ends of em red hot, use 1 knife to pick up the bud then put the other hot knife ontop of it, then someone puts the hooter over it. You can use lots of things for the hooter, toilet paper roll works good, bottle, what i use though is a glass 5th bottle cut in half, and i keep it in the freezer. Is nice and chilled and gives good hits. Hot knifez fuck me up i love em :D

theres 2 butter knives that are glowing red hot at the front of them....and between the 2 hot parts of the knife, there is a little bit of weed, and smoke is coming off it, and someone it sucking that smoke in with a straw or something you can suck through.

so basically your getting the same amount of THC as a huge bong hit, but with less consumption of the weed?

Hot knifes work for weed, especially if you turn down the heat from red hot and vapourize it. Use heavy knives to keep the right temp longer. Use an electric stove top to heat them. Use a toilet paper tube of cut of bottle to keep your lips away.

It's not some super technique, just a fall-back if you don't have a hash pipe. And you don't need knives (or buckets). Anything hot enough to smoke the hash. We used to just turn on the stove and drop a few crumbs on a burner ring, then crowd around sucking the smoke up with straws or ballpoint pen barrels...may the best hoover win.
(That's an electric stove, by the way...don't any of you bentbrains try it on a gas stove then blame me)

whats a bowl? ive heard of most ways to smoke weed but never a bowl, we do shotties mostly here.
