I was with my pops and a couple of my buddies, and we were all smoking, then this one dude started coughing like shit after taking a puff off a chillum-pipe, he seemed like he got more fucked up than us.
Usually when i cough after a major bong hit it also seems that way?
What are y'alls thoughts?

yeah, the guy coughed really hard because he probably took a large hit, thus cuasing him to cough. So usually coughing is associated with big hits.....or newbies i guess
yheah i only cough when ai take a huge hit from my bong and hold it. and i get super more stonned then reg hits. so the more smoke, The more u cough, the higher u get
actually, if you make yourelf cough, and like cough out the smoke instead of exhaling it, i think it does make me higher sometimes??? i dont knw. fuck it anyone else know what i mean?
Yeah, I've noticed that too. When I cough, I get higher, and I don't think it's just the size of the hits. Perhaps it's the momentary lack of oxygen, maybe it rushes the THC to my brain faster somehow, I don't know. But I like it.
yeah......couyghing gives you a headrush!!!! and everytime you get a headrush smoking weed, we all know it means your going to be ripped in about 5 min.

think about it. when u take a massive bong hit, ur getting all that beautiful thc smoke. when u cough that means u cant hold anymore which is good cuz that means ur inhaling which is what its all about.

Yes, coughing does get a person higher, because it opens up sweat glands and thc is more involved. Haven't any of you seen the part in Jackie Brown where Robert Deniro and the hot blonde toke it up?

when you cough, the smoke is drawn deeper into your lungs and reaches the little sac bag thingies that it wouldnt usually be able to reach. Therefore you get more wrecked

The trick to using a cought to get higher is to not cough it up, but like an internal lung style cough o_()

It's the lack of oxygen. If you can take big hits without hacking, doesn't that mean your lungs are getting really fucked up, like there isn't a healthy response anymore? I've always wondered about that.

it makes the blood flow faster in your body...spreading the THC more quickly around your body...u get baked faster, and more demoed.

yeah my lungs have def toughened up....i dont relaly cough that much except when i milk my bong to a a darkish yellow color, and then rip it....those wouldnt fail to make anyone cough....ripped as fuck...
i mean dark whiteish yellowish.....people with clear glass bongs (roor, pure glass, zong, etc) know what i mean....

here is something i'm wondering, doesnt holding the smoke in longer let you absord more thc and get you higher, if you cough arent you just letting it out before you can absord all the thc? or are you guys talking about holding it then coughing? bah i'm not even sure what I just asked.
first u hold it until u cant hold it, THEN u cough it out, instead of just blowing it out. that prolly gets the rest of the thc out of the smoke.
