new to growing :((

hey all,
ok im new to growin n hav so far killed 3 plants....i dunno wat im doin wrong!!!im usin 2 flouresants, keepin them 2 inches or so from the plants.iv been givin them 24hrs of light coz there in vegative growth.im usin soil i dug up, but i did microwave it!n im usin a fruit fert that has %50 nitro n all d other recommended shit...so why do they keep diein on me?!?!?the seeds are "ice" seeds.its really important that i can grow my own coz im in china, n u cant buy any weed here.....or hash....:(( help!!!!!

try HPS lgihts or MH lights first of all/........and put them 12 inches from the plant. buy soil. water everytime the soil gets all the way dry. only keep lights on 24 hours until its arounf 4-6 inches tall. then switch to 18/6, then when you wanna bud it do 12/12. dont spray the plant with lights on, it will burn. dont overwater. throw away the males as soon as you find them.

but wat kind of soil?u cant buy the same kinda gardenin shit here...stupid china!!!!compost?i bought some soil but it was all ashy or somethin, dunno wtf it was...like i see them growin small orange trees, will i ask them for the same soil as that?it must be good soil must'nt it?

How big do they get before they die? What is the first sign that things are going bad?

Do not fertilize at first.. let the seeds sprout and wait awhile before you fert... It is probably a ph problem and not a fert problem.. and don't over water..

It may be tough if you can't get a ph tester.. you should be bale to find some sort of Ph tester.. even in China.. : )

ok,got myself a 400w mh light.the guys is n shop were real cunts bout it.for some reason they did'nt wanna sell me it!i told them i was growin a orange tree.they dont kno wat weed is here really.they do grow it tho, but they dont smoke it.so it cant be that illegal for me can it?lol.
the plant i hav growin now is bout 3 inches big, n has'nt grown in bout 5 days..iv had under 2 flour. lights, with them bout 2/3 inches from it.the leaves are curlin n goin kinda yellow.but i noticed 2 tiny new leaves after growin on it.so maybe i was just over waterin it..
yea ill post some pics, n yes there will be a successful grow in china!!!other wise im fuckin off home to get stoned!!!
im goin lookin for soil today, but i really dont kno wat im lookin for.i think ill mix a couple of soils i buy or somethin n just see how it goes.as regards a ph tester, lipmus paper yea?or how ever u spell it.should be able to get that alright..

yea china is ok..only came to learn chinese, was studin for a year at home but yah cant really learn a langauge well with out livin in d country yah kno?if ur a native english speaker (of english)u could find a job here no problem.
they do everythin arse ways tho..so unorganised, it really gets frustratin after a few months of it.n its filthy, n stinky.n yes they eat dogs, cats n just bout everythin else!
i was in the west of china n tibet when i first got here, now im on south east coast.the people in d west are nicer i wreckon.there poorer, but they still dont try rip u off as much.n they grow weed there..not for smokin, tho....they make shit outa it.its smokable but i mean u'd never pay money for it at home.beggers cant be choosers tho eh?
oh!dvd's are really fuckin cheap!bout 1 euro each!d beer is piss, they drink it at room temp aswell.their drugs are shit aswell, an e here is buot half as strong as one in europe.n they do this drug k-fen, thats shit aswell.n expensive.n still u cant buy weed or hash?like wats up wit that!i do hav hash been posted,n more seeds...so not too bad i guess...but still hav nothin to smoke now...

Buy a book on growing. Better yet buy a few and study them. You should've done this before you started. Grow knowledge, is by far the most important aspect of a successful grow.

well its easy to say buy a book....when ur in a country that has them!!!!

what's your temperature like? Yellowing is usually overwaterig, or not enough light (and I think 24 hrs is enough... so i doubt it's lack of light)..

Okay, then order a few online. I am tired of growers complaining and having problems when they did little research to start. And you definately stopped way short on your research. This is why I stopped posting in the Grow Forums. If you are going to attempt something, make sure you have knowledge about it first. You can prevent 99% of your problems from happening if you know your shit.

floro'z r not grow lightz. in fact they r one ov the weakest kindz ov bulb there iz. yer new light will help alot, but dunt keep it 3 inchez frum the plantz, try 8-12 inchez. alot ov ppl dump water on their plantz thinkin it will help them grow faster when rlly yer stuntin the growth becuz u did not have enuff light to keep the photosynthesis process goin, therefore they turn yellow then brown then they die.iz not az big ov a deal when yer a beginner, in fact once u pick up sum regular pottin soil like sum1 else said, soil will b the least ov yer worriez. a higher quality pottin soil iznt too basic or too acidic, so u shoodnt have too many ph problemz with the soil. an even if u cant get a book in china, which im 100% sure that u can, yer obviously connected 2 the net so y not read sum bookz online?. therez way too much 2 learn bout growin than even all ov us here at cannabis cood teach yah, so if u cant get a successful product, yer doin sumthin wrong an i betcha once u read a book over a few timez, ull realize wut u were doin wrong the whole time. good luck buddy

Thanks, Killabuzz. You put it down with a little more tact than I did. I probably came off like a asshole, but sometimes I am. I just get upset when I hear of poor plants dying when they could've been saved easily with a little knowledge. Reason I stopped posting in the Grow Forums is just that, too many growers, too little research, and then they get pissed when things go wrong. Even though there is a lot of knowledge in this and other cannabis websites, nobody can teach you everything, and there is a lot of conflicting information and growing styles. Reading up on growing is the best way to learn your info from the basics to advanced techniques. The pros who publish these books and manuals have encountered almost every problem out there. Their knowledge is printed for the benefit of less experienced growers. Why not use it and enjoy a great harvest instead of winging it and dealing with problems as they occur? :)

hahha well sawleaf, sumtimez itz necessary ta get pissed off over these thingz, n i mean it aint that yer pissed off at the person er anythin, but yah cant help but pity them in sum way fer expectin a great plant when the entire setup wuz made on u an yer buddyz best guessez. itz like goin 2 a math exam when u havnt been there fer a single day ov the course, u cant expect ta pass in fact therez no point in even goin to it. my point iz, gain the knowledge u need ta put the proper effort into the plantz, an u will get the effort out ov yer plantz in fat, sticky budz:). so im wit leaf on this, whether im more tact bout it then he iz er not :)
