No Grinder

I'm new to smoking and bought my first 1/8th yesterday, but I haven't got a grinder. What else could I use?

Let your weed dry out (the drier, the better)and then rub it through that big wire mesh strainer that everyone has! Stems and seeds (if any) stay in the strainer, nicely flaked pot falls through to a waiting plate or sheet of paper. Add a few drops of water, rum or wine to your flaked pot, and you are ready to toke!

If you have one of those little one cup blender tops, use it on a pulse to finely chop your pot. Going "full-tilt-boogie" with a blender will result in powdered pot- not good for smoking (too fine, it runs), but it is good for vaping.

Or if you have scissors and a shot glass, you can just cut the heck out of it!

After a couple of years, I have yet to have a grinder. I've always used my hands, no problem. . .

what happens when you add rum to it??? And whats the point

your fingers. if its dry enough you can use scissors but this could result in total chaos...

yeah, like others have said, If you take it and start pulling it apart with your fingers, then it should break apart pretty easy. Even if its a little wet still, you should be cool. Or the scissors and shot glass thing works too.

ALWAYS grind up your stuff. I learned this in science class one time- the more surface area there is, the more places for reactions to occur. To put this in simple English... it'll get you higher! I don't have a grinder (i think i'll get one soon though), but a friend of mine has one so he grinds it for me, then we smoke the kief later on together :)

If you're gonna be bunnin a lot of joints, then a grinder is a necessity i would say. One with a kief catcher preferably. However, if you choose to use bongs/bowls like i do, then i don't think you need one. Having said that, i should buy one lol. Hopefully i can pick up that O of hash 2moro and then i'll take it from there.
