Did I say i wasnt growing.. I guess that was a lie. Summer is out of the way and its getting cold again. So temperatures drop and having a grow in the place you sleep doesnt kill you with the heat. And its also easier to cool off the plants.

So whats the difference this time? Well just one difference. I got rid of that "grow teepee" and Ive cleaned the sh*t out of the room and moved some furniture.. now I can fit in a wardrobe.. if thats what you call them. I saw them for sale its like a cheap alternative to a wardrobe. You stick some tubes together then put a cloth over it and ta-da! a wardrobe. No more teepees made of garbage bags ! phew...

So ill be doing that shopping this weekend and hopefully everything will b set and ready for the plants to flower in. The wardrobe will be used only for flower. I didnt have many 2700Ks last time just 2 ( wtf was I thinking ) the flower hut will have 5 this time at the top and several 6500K lights at the bottom. If I see that it isnt enough ill add more.

I have 7 plants now in veg inside the little hub I made in the last grow, that place is great! The seeds unfortunately are still sucky.. and even more sucky cause I ran out of the other ones and had to get some weed and use the ones that came with it.. Well most are born with defficiencies and one is really mutant, mor then last time but the new growths are looking normal. Ill be posting pics tomorrow.

Theres 7 plants but another 2 pots with seeds which will be coming out soon. Out of the 7 1 looks like it has ozone damage but isnt ozone damage and its hangins on there the new growth is green i hope it manages, just in case I have seeds germing. 3 are ok but are burned a little bit ( they were going crazy deficiency so I nuked them, sry ). One is mutant and is about 2 times bigger then the rest. And the other 2 are small they were planted later then the rest but are catching up there growing the 3rd leaves.

Theres 6 6500K 23W Cfls at the top and its just fine for veg. Im hoping for 2-4 females. I might buy new pots to size it better with the hut but we shall see how it turns out this weekend, then I can tell you for sure. Im also getting a big fan for the hut, Ill place it to the side and cut a hole there for the fan.

Remember I said the previous weed sucked. Well yea it did but I dont understand a part of it. I smoked the whole jar and then the last.. say 10 joints were fabulous. I was amazed I got some friends to smoke it too and they loved it.

Its cheap its sh*ty but this time its going to be better. I will also buy a timer so I dont f*ck up on the schedule as I seldomly did last time.

Notice the deformed leaf growth on the big plant, and the nute burn on some others, its under control no worries. Theres also a f*cked up one on the first pic middle row first plant, its has extreme defficiency or some mess up from birth Im just letting it grow along, the new growth on it seems cured.
The foil everyone hates it but its not a big deal, no worries:cool:

Went shopping today. Im exhausted I dont have any motor vehicle so I have to pedal the f*ck out of the bicycle for 2 hours just to go to the place.. Its this other big market that sells this kind of stuff. It was worth it. Stuff was all half price then capitalist a**hole bauhaus.

Bought a pack of 4 2700K Cfls. 36W -> 180 1600 lumens for 16 AMD.
Bought 2 timers. I saw electric ones but they were twice the price of normal ones so I got normal ones... its the same thing. 7 AMD each.

Bought also .. dont know what you call them but.. "circuit divider"? like you plug one and theres 6. Ill have total of 9 circuits.. Ill be running 8 lights ( 6 2700K 2 6500K ) and a big 16cm 50w fan I got from my friend.

Ill be buying the hut thing in the weekend and ill have the flower system set up by monday. Im busy in the weekend. Thats it for today.

wounds in my hands, back pain because of a cramp, very tired... pissed off because prices are higher then last summer.. but I made it. The flower hut is set up and fully operational. Took me 5 hours. I remade all of the light fixures because some were shortcircuiting the whole house due to wires touching inside the electrical tape.
Its all perfect now the only thing missing is.. plants!!!

I have 6 pots in there, 10 fit but Ill be doing 6 only. Ill get probably 2-3 fems this time Ill plant those and clean out the veg pots and re-seed them and get another bunch and get them into the flower hut. So therell be continual harvest which is pretty cool.
I will get much better buds this time Im sure of it.
I could have more lights but I think this is enough.. Ill be adding 1-2 more if I see it necesarry. 4-2.7K 180W CFLs and 4-2.7K 120W CFLs in there at the moment. I let it run for 15 mins and there was almost no heat at pot level. That fan is kicking butt.

I have all the wiring up at the top shelf so waterspills get owned :thumbsup:

My friend knows this guy that came from amsterdam some weeks ago and is growing. He might be able to give me some seeds! But I dont count on it.

Thats about it.. friday 5 plants are going into flower. They are 3 weeks old now 1 month big or not is enough so in you go (gaschamber) :D it would be fun to smoke inside that closet with the zipper closed, lol!

You can have all those CFLs in there and it not get hot? What are the temps? That fan must kick ass! What kind is it? Only reason I ask, is that in my cab now w/ 6 cool CFLs, I'm getting up to around 83, which isn't bad.. but when I put in those red specs, temps are gonna rise. I'm going to have to get a stronger exhaust fan and add intake.

Looking forward to seeing your plants flower under some CFLs. What strain are they, or is it bagseed?

I'm actually putting my one and only plant into flower on Monday, it's been vegging for 38 days. (it was the only bagseed to sprout/germ out of 4). It'll be under 6 - 42 watters (2700K). Hopefully it turns out to be a GIRL. :D

Hey Whiskey. Everything is looking good as far as i can see. I with bron wondering what your temps are. What is your total wattage and what is your cubic footage of your flower room? Keep up the good work.

The seeds are bagseed. You can check out my first log and look at pages 5-10 which will give you an idea of what they will look like in the future. But these will be much better then that. 2 seeds which had still to sprout have dissapeared into the mud.. dont you just hate that. Im still waiting for the guy who supposebly has some nice seeds to get in contact with me. I would buy seeds Im not cheap or anything but where I live you cant get seeds. And even if some seedshops ship worldwide, postmen might open the package and if he finds seeds, even if its legal they will say oh its "drug" seeds and try to do something and they would ship it ofcourse to my friend because I dont want them searching my house :)

44cm wide 55cm acros 114cm high ( 17.3in 21.7in 44.9in ), the room is actually bigger ( 44cm 108cm 114cm -- 17.3in 42.5in 44.9in) but I leave what I dont use empty. The fan is blowing right onto the bulbs so its not letting any of the heat accumulate, although I wish I had a smaller fan I could put on the floor and make it shoot upwards. For the temps Ill tell you on friday so I can have it run the whole day and see for sure how its going to be. The material of the wardrobe is cloth so maybe it transpires heat from the inside to the outside.
And theres no aluminum or mylar, just big rolls of plasticy white paper which reduces heat build up by a small amount ( painting walls white vs using mylar less reflection but less heat also deffinately worth it ). The fan is a 40 cm ( 16in ) 50W fan.

cheap lazy people cant clean be bothered to clean the water. Im 90% sure the problems Im having is because the water is dirty. I let it sit out 2-3 days before using it but even with the chlore out of the water its still white/orange-ish. sick bast*rds. Im buying clean ( what did you call that evaporated then collected and bottled? ) purified ph balanced water. I remember my plants last time loved it and to spend an extra 20 bucks per group of plants is irrelevant. Ill buy 10-15 liters, it should go a month or so.

Buy the gallon jugs of distilled water....its like a dollar per gallon and its totally nuetral with no additives...

yea man clean water is da bomb.. plants love it and appreciate you. bought a bunch of bottles, ill be feeding only this type of water from now on. my plants are really crying because of the other water.

everything in the flower room is done i added the last light and now its 9 2700K lights .. 14400 lumens.. thats little compared to what some other people have. im thinking of adding another 4 of those 180W cfls, that still has time though

i bought some party cups and i put 12 seeds into germination using the wet towel method. you get some paper towels or toilet paper and put seeds on it then wet it ( not soak ) then put it in a plastic sanwich bag and put under the lights. make sure no air goes in or out so humidity builds up and gets to the inside of the seeds and awakens the babies :)

i will be cloning this time for sure. ill take 2 clones or so out of each girl plant and put in water ( they dont sell cloning gel or powder here :( ) it cant hurt so i will try. i couldnt find rockwool for that eigther so dirt will have to do.

these 12 new plants are going to be much better first starting off with good water and all. but that doesnt mean i trashed the current ones.

the flower hut can house 6 plants currently which is the number of females ill get if im not extra lucky. if i am extra lucky i can add those 4 lights and another 4 pots fit in there.

Sounds like a good plan dude. Just remember all those cfls are gonna put off a ton of heat.

Removed total of 3 males. 1 ( the mutant unfortunately.. why me why meee.. ) turned out female and 2 to sex in the upcoming week. another 2 popped out of the dirt and i planted 3 of the germed seeds into their small cups. A friend of mine found a guy who might give us seeds but we dont know what they are or how they are yet, and were thinking of buying online so Im looking at seedshops right now. Anyone knows good world-wide shipping seedshops?

Im thinking that since I cant get HID lamps I should stick to cheap breeds and cheap feminine seeds would be great. We shouldnt waste 50 bucks to get WW and just have 3 females who dont grow or produce as they should at maximum efficiency... instead get a pack of cheap ( not dirt dirt crappy just cheap - average ) seeds feminized and grow those.
I cant get the expensive WW / bubblegum / blueberry strains ill look into this and post my thoughs about things i see, keep tuned!

We were about to order from Sensi-Seeds and then it said they cant ship it here... I wrote Gypsy Nirvana asking if they ship to my area..
If they do, ill be thinking about the following.. (allfeminized) durbanpoison, hollandshope, FMX-Grapefruit x NL, FMX-Zamal x Skunk Special, kerela krush, afganica, strawberryhaze, .... are prices i can afford. And if I do buy ill make clones or collect polen from a male and polinate one bud to give me more seeds.

pics are here! as you can see lower growth is damaged do to bad water, but new growth is coming out just fine. the mutant female is probably a little shocked ( 3rd pic one in the back in a green pot ).

a friend told me where to find HPS light at a decent price. Ill be upgrading to HPS in 1 year.. so next grow in autumn. It must be autumn because of the temperature :)

there just wasnt anything to update. today the I elliminated one male. theres another plant that spouted at the same time as that male and its like 1/3 the height. its so small like a early born child, and its not really growing. the new growth seems healthy but its not growing it had some burn also. actually they all had burn.

I flushed the plants ( 3 ) and transplanted my favorite plant into a green pot. im 80% sure its a female the catlyx or what ever the name was are growing so long and theres no sign of balls under it which if male there would be by now. the mutant is 100% sure female she has hairs at the top but shes also sick. so i flushed everyone and by this weekend everyone should be happy.

Im trying to wait untill my favorite plant to grow a little more so I can flower both that and the mutant together. Out of the 11 cups ( 3 seeds arent germinating I dono why so the 12th is empty ) 3 have already spouted and I did some digging gently and 3 more are on their way no more then 3 days ;)

The 2 babies that are in the soda bottles are doing fine. Both growing a little slow maybe not enough light, one is mutant ... -.- -.- -.- -.- -.- ... why do aliens abduct MY seeds... why why!??? :wtf:

look at the babies and the one at the back right.. bigger then the rest.. thats a male 99.9% sure of it ! but Ill let it grow to be sure :thumbsup:

out of 12 that I planted 4 spouted. I dug up and found the seeds had rotted ( too much water? ) so I put another 10 seeds today in germination.

its warm in there, not too much to make the plants too uncomfortable but you can feel it.
Transplanted the 3 small plants into 1.5L bottles.. going to give flower nutes to the plant in flowering tomorrow for the first time.. thats it :)pics coming on the weekend when the other plant will join her sister in the flower hut.

i checked up on the seeds and remoistened the paper and the bag, most have germinated Im waiting for them to grow longer tails, 2 already had so I planted those.

all but 2 seeds germinated, planted them and all but 1 sprouted. so now I have 5 babies + 1 big baby + 4 unsexed juniors and 2 fems in flower. today I put that small girl to flower.

although they werent supposed to go to flower till they were bigger, their genetics were bad and I dont have any weed so theyll supply a small quantity of weed til the real flowering with 1-2 month old xtreme fetish, bondage, torture, etc..etc.. LSTed plants begins. yes Ill uber LST the babies and let them grow pretty big before flowering them.

so now just waiting for the other 2 seeds to germinate and the 1 seed to sprout and the saga will be complete.

the big one in flower has just completed its 1st week of flower.. hurray.. 8-9 more to go (hopefully no more)

anyhow I havent posted because there isnt anything to see really.. lsted the 2 big veggies ( unsexed but im guessing one male one female ) then have 8 smalls in there and another 6 seed germinating (from new weed, I though it would kick ass if this were sinsemilla so Im going for it :) ) the 2 plants in flower are not so well, alot of N deficiency leaves are going yellow then crisping and falling off. Im going to feed some N.. I dont really care if these plants give me 2 joints or give me nothing at all.. the babies are going to rock Ill be lsting them and vegging them for 1..2.. if possible 3 months. Ill do it untill they hit the lights and have no more spots to be tied down from, then Ill throw them into flower and have kick ass healthy strong plants, I hate dealing with weak plants.. bleh!

The flowering plants look bad.. they were mutants and there now flowering properly. The 2nd I put there hasnt even sexed yet so Im pulling it out and throwing it away.. The other one isnt so bad Ill let it go and chop it for newyears.
The veggies however are the bomb. Many babies growing up great, the 2 big ones one has showed hairs the other still undecided but Im hoping its a female because it hasnt showed balls .. and males show balls early.
Pics before and after LSTing. Im putting in hooks around the pot and just tieing the plant down to the next hook every 1-1.5 weeks and making a "circle-lst" .. which should let the plant stay low and veg there untill its awesome then put the big momma into flower and kick butt.

i really liked the old plants better. they were indicas and they grew strong, heavy, and filled out alot and were bigger. these sativas are weak, puny, and have alot of problems..

we were just discussing with a friend the difference of the sativa and indica strains, we both prefer indica over sativa. now although many people love the high the sativa gives, It doesnt satisfy me enough.


The indica is like getting on a spaceship. You smoke the joint and giggle the 3-4 minute wait for it to hit you.. and then out of the darkness it flashes onto you and crawls its way up to your brain.. :D then you start to feel funny and you say to yourself: here we go again! I love this feeling!.. and the engines burst out the flames and push the spaceship countering the force of gravity.. your head starts to tremble with joy and you notice that time has slowed down almost to a stop. you look around yourself and notice every object around you and you see it as a frame, through a window. and you feel how everything you look at glances back at you. by this time your eyes start to light up with colors and then it hits you...

you hit the warphole at a thousand miles an hour and it keeps accelerating and light waves start booming onto your eyes of all colors. heres the fun part.. now you are immersed into the stone and your brain starts the magic. you start thinking about things.. anything, everything. you lift up your head and time has stopped by now, everything is slow and you cannot move.. you think about munching on a brownie but you cant lift your hand up to get it.. takes you 5 minutes.and then you start to think about everything thats around you and why its there or how it got there.. and all these things play on a different frame inside your head. and you act these out with your imagination.. with characters from cartoons and talking potatoes and carrots.. and you immerse yourself into though so much you start thinking the cartoons are alive and you look around yourself stupidly and find that there dancing around but you cant move, youve been glued onto the sofa and you just turn your head left and right from time to time and laugh. if you have a movie on ( I always do.. and there usually about weed :D ill get to this after i finish talking about indica trips.. ) and you blend into the movie like you were there.. and everything that happens in the movie you see it; like bad acting, or messups, or just things in the story you woudlnt have noticed if you were sober. you start to think as the characters and.. wAAAA it feels great :D


maybe I havent smoked such great sativas I dont know.. but the sativa high leaves me too open minded. I can type perfectly on the keyboard do anything but lazily and but dont enjoy it as much as the indica.. the indica is a trip, an experience.. a time travel kind of thing :jointsmile:

movies ... have you ever seen a movie... ON WEEDD? thats the way to see it man!! lol ( half baked ). comedy rules.. i mean it just crushes any other gender.. action sucks because you get lost and you dont understand whats going on and how they got there.. action makes you understand a scene before it moves to the next and you just dont get it when you are stoned. a comedy you put it on and there almost always in this way:

-normal guy / guys / girls just living
-something happens and they must go on a mission
-the mission ( the adventure )
-conclusion

so it draws you in from the birth of the character and drags you along and you can perfectly "go in to" the movie.

i dont like drama while stoned.. its just too much wait for something to happen and you get bored and want to change the movie.. but you cant!! stoned= no legs or arms, so it sucks even more :D
i really dont like horror eigther... its like falling to hell and not being able to get out.. imagine watching the exorcist... youd have a heartattack... the exorcist the original is probably the best horror ive seen. others are just jumpy monsters or stupid stuff.. this one gets under your skin and makes you think about things.. wont watch it again :D

cheech and chong.. no really, those movies are specially designed to fit the pothead arent they.. they are right? Ive watched them all and the best in my opinion are: Up in Smoke, Nice Dreams, Next Movie, Still Smoking. the rest are off topic and not really that funny. watching those while stoned rocks.. theres alot of things that fit perfectly.. some are on purpose, some are bad acting and how the story unfolds. Like Still Smoking just pops scenes onto you and acts them out, its great!

Noone likes but some ideas under it were good.. apocalyptico, aka the running man:D. they take them into "the place of stone" and the curse and all that is cool to see how it happens one by one.. and then the running part feels like you are him.. all this while stoned ofc... is good.

Rockers is the best reggae movie out there. Its a great movie. Its funny to see the rastafari payback on the mafia, their way ;)

Harold and Kumar is good, especially the bathroom scene.

heres the veg room pics.. the lsted plants are rockin, going to keep them there untill the ones in medium pots are growing out and males out and they need to be put into larger pots.. then ill take these buy some new pots ( much bigger ones ) and kick those into flower and see how a fully grown adult gives me some thermonuclear boombastic warheads to nuke my brains with it..

About the rotten seeds, ive had 100% germination success by placing a paper towel on a plate, dampen it but not too much water ie no pooling, place couple more towels on top and dampen, then place in an opaque bag, dont seal it, then keep in a cool dry place for a few days.

For cloning i use :

Ive had 90% cloning success with this technique.

You said you want to buy a cheaper strain because you feel your setup isnt good enough? Dont think like that! Buy the best strain you can possibly afford and you'll never regret it, i bought 10 bubblegum seeds and only got one female, but i managed 6 clones off her, then cloned 6 off those clones, and 6 off the following clones, im in the third generation of the original only female!

Buy "cheese" , its the 2006 Cannabis Cup winner for the indica division. You wont regret it, but you'll WILL regret buying some cheapie seed pack.

Anyways good to post on your new grow.

Oh and the paper towel method, i keep the plate in the bag out of the sun, it did just great in the shade, no light necessary.

Oh and wanted to say once you buy an expensive strain, you can just clone it over and over, i wouldnt pollinate to get seeds, messy and fuck who wants seeds in there weed. Cloning is the way to go!

actually i had posted about 2 days ago but that post got abducted i guess.. so ill sum what i wrote " im going hydro ".

ok now ....:D... i bought most of the things, still need aquarium silicone and a drill.. the silicone ill buy but the drill my friend is bringing his over this saturday.. so the contruction will halt till then. other then that i have everything.

i have a long tray, a tank for the water; the pump couldnt pump the water up so i put a small table in there and have the thing higher then the tray so now it pumps easily... but where will water go after filling the tray you say... yea thats was a problem.. but i came up with a solution.. since theres no space left in the tent and even if there were it would be uncomfortable and i would spill break drop and break lights, the tray.. and other things, i though i could drill a hole under the tray and plug one end of the tube just like a normal drain but then cut out a hole in the tent and have the tube pouring out into a disposal bucket outside the tent. this way i dont even have to touch the tent i just take the disposed water pour it back into the tank and let it back to its place :D

so i have those and i bought an air pump, an air stone? something like that.. it makes bubbles in the water, a liquid pump (duh), and i found out what rockwool was in martial.. so i went to the store and asked for it and they had it tucked away in a dirty corner with lice and worms.. nah :) i finally got rockwool!

clay balls, lava balls, vermiculite, perlite.. wasnt able to find any..
but i got styrofoam ... a big fat huge slab of styrofoam ill grind into little balls and let them sit on the tray.. theyll float and fall off u say.. but the trays gna be closed so they wont fall out ;)

that sure wont do no.. but itll have to until i get my hands on something that will. my friend found this interesting thing at some market. its like a little bag filled with balls, you throw them in the water and they get big and you can use them as soilless medium. seems pretty cool. ill get those when i meet up with him and he tells me where to get them :D.

seeds are such a problem i cant get them. im trying to convince people who can to get them but there not cooperating. i found this new weed and it was pretty good and its not related to the other weed so im germinating some seeds.. i dont care about how great it is i just want it to be a proper plant, like on the first grow.

so the system is ebb and flow hydro, the lights ill be adding 3 more so a total of.. 12 lights for 4 plants. ill have .. dono 4-8 plants in veg but only keep max of 4 females. more doesnt make it better.. i prefer growing less but of better quality. the hydro system is great because you just have to check it every day to see its giving water then do nothing else.. it does everything.. oh and put water from bucket a back to bucket b.. thats it :)

i have automated timers on the lights and on the pumps.
the bubble pump will be running for 3 hours before the water pump goes off then rest, then again before each feeding. the water pump will run for 15 minutes ( its the lowest on the basic plastic timer ) 2-3 times a day im not sure which one yet ( could someone suggest 2 or 3? ).
there is no problems because the pump has 3 settings ( low, medium, max) and ill see which setting clears 10 litres of water in exactly 15 minutes and let that one run, because if the pump is too slow it wont get enough water through, if its too fast then the water will be gone and itll be running without water ( its a submersible fan and they heat up if this happens).

i havent even started hydro but im very exited about it. i can see why so many people prefer this, its so much easier. i hate dealing with the soil of the other grow.. each time i do something to the plants theres soil all over the room and i have to come with the vacuum and clean it.. i still like soil but maybe for outdoors when i have my own house and im not in a 6x3 room .. yes my room is very small :)

in the 2nd soil grow i was unfortunate because of the seeds. and because of that i just gave in all hope and didnt care and let them all die. im positive this will work wonders, but will these new seeds? .. well we will find out pretty soon!
im going to continue my hydro grow on this thread!

i wont be posting much because im afraid they are starting to read things that people post in the internet.. there monitoring what everyone does. so ill be posting smaller comments and just posting some pics most times..

everything is set up. there might be some drainage problems.. and there might be trouble with the rockwool.. its very hard and it doesnt take in water.. is it supposed to be like this? ive never used rockwool before.

hey "whisky" i read one of your threads earlier today it was sooo long and it was like a book it is the most of anything i have ever read it was funny sad dramatic everything, your freaking hilarious. after seeing willie wortels website at hempcity.net i to me he was the number one person that i thought was the best at any kinda of cannabis cultivation. But after reading your work i say you are the number one. you are doing what i wish i could. i have a a plant that is going on 3 months of age i was wondering if you could get back to me some how. all of the plants you have planted were the best. a bud that you said you pulled from the plant you called daisy had to have been my favorit it had brownish looking hairs and looked great. your the best man peace!

its not really that hard to grow, just plan and organize the thing once then give it water and watch it grow. it might not turn out like the other plant pics on this forum but you will learn and get better at it, and eventually learn to control the force:) if you have questions or need help id say just open up a journal thread take a couple pics and (unlike my thread which people just look at the pics cuz the writing is so long) people will help you:thumbsup:

Im almost done with the new room... its starting to turn out really good but i have encountered some problems.

1) rockwool --> bad bad. not only is the rockwool is so hard it doesnt take in water it smells like fish and piss. i told the store about this and i wanted to give it back and they said oh you must go find the person who is incharge of that material blabla.. ( find the person that peed on it kid, we dont give a f*** )

2) watering will be manual.. ill just use the pump to pump water into the plant watering thing, and the bubler can be there working set on a timer. drainage problems... some water stays in the bottom.. thats why i decided not to use the flood technique for watering.


just those problems i guess.. for the veg stage i have 6 white cfl + 2 orange cfls in the middle, total of - 11,200 lumens. the planter has been covered so that no light reaches the roots and theres space for 8 plants.

i put 8 foam cups and ill pluck some holes into the bottom so the roots can grow out. these cups will be filled with cotton and will hold the seedlings for their first 2 weeks. when the plant grows out the bottom itll be in the actual mixture of the tray which consists of
styrofoam and gel. im still breaking up the styrofoam into bits 1 by 1.. it takes so long, zzzz.

and for flower there will be 10 orange cfls and 2 white, a total of - 18,300 lumens.
i was thinking of a HPS this time, but itll have to wait for next year. ive also taken the pc fan and mounted it in the tent.. the growcab will not be used anymore. veg and flower will be done in the tent.

this said ill get back to breaking up the foam. i had seeds in germ for about 4-5 days and some have sprung up, those will be planted today when the thing is done. ill post pics when its done

it didnt work... the drainage was one problems but even if I got that sorted out, without proper rockwool or lava rock balls .. cotton, styrofoam and gel didnt do the trick.

happy that the first seeds had just begun to crack I took them out of the cotton and placed them inside soil. not worrying about the failure, it didnt cost me anything. everything I have bought I still use, so no problems there:).

Fan goes on 30 mins then goes off 30 mins from lights on to lights off. Water bubbler (this makes the water more oxigenated which is a good thing) goes on for 45 minutes 4 times a day.

Photos are coming when the little youngones are about in the garden. Right now 10 have cracked and ive planted them. Theres 8more i think germinating.

Ill be happy with 4 proper females. The reason ive planted so many is because with these bad seeds I have about a 1/4 female ratio and even among the females theres many mutants and weak plants that dont flower properly and suffer my wrath and get killed.
Only strong and brave ones may remain under my tent of fame.

(Yes ive been reading alot of forgotten realms lately.. I also got an audiobook of the whole series and I put on one of the books, turn on classic music, turn on the lava lamp, and let my mind dream off to the adventures of Drizzt)

so what happend to UR other plants?

they were too weak and mutated.. didnt grow properly, so i threw them away. the only thing I dont like about soil is that you have to buy new each time and with those 40L of soil went out the window.

now lets not get exited, the same thing might happen again. these plants now are from a collection of 4 diff seeds I had. I put 4 seeds of each 4 types and had 16 germinating. 9 are little plants now, 1 broke, and the rest are still germinating but they look as if there not going to open, even though i spray fresh water onto them every 2 days.

I will take care of these little babies, and start nutes earlier then usual. In the failure grow the plants turned yellow in the first 3 weeks and just died off.. the females that did survive were skinny and weak, so I decided it wouldnt be worth the electricity and everything to keep them. It was good because this way I reassembled the growroom and now its much better then before.
